Remember My Face

"If you really want to know what's different, it's this—now I can show you all in person, right here, exactly what you just saw in the video."

As soon as Evan Lin finished speaking, the crowd erupted in an uproar.

Before the teachers or principal could stop him, Evan Lin casually flung Ryan Luo across the hall. Under the stunned gazes of every teacher and principal, with Wendy Wen staring wide-eyed in shock, and the whole school watching live, Ryan screamed and tumbled to the floor, crashing into several nearby tables.

The whole hall went dead silent for several seconds—no one had expected Evan Lin would dare act in front of so many people!

This is outrageous! Absolutely outrageous!

Director Ben Lu shot to his feet, glaring fiercely at Evan Lin and shouting, "Are you even a student? Do you have any idea how a student should behave?"

Back when your school recommended you to us, I never should've accepted you! Your math teacher sang your praises—how did it end up being you? You think hitting people in public makes you cool? I'm telling you, you're the worst kind of student! Grades in the gutter, fighting like it's a sport—do you think Capitalview First High is a garbage dump?

Director Ben Lu kept ranting, while the principal frowned repeatedly. The transfer student from Brightsea City had been approved by him—he'd thought Evan Lin was just weak in academics, but never expected him to hit people in public!

Evan Lin glanced coolly at Director Ben Lu. "Go ahead, try saying one more word. You think I need you to teach me how to handle things?"

Evan Lin's gaze turned razor-sharp. Director Ben Lu, who'd just stood up, suddenly felt like a wild beast was staring him down. His face went pale, his legs buckled, and he collapsed back into his seat.

Evan Lin strode over, grabbed Ryan Luo off the floor, and dragged him in front of the camera.

Everyone could see Ryan Luo's face—nervous, dirty, and full of fear.

Ryan Luo, right here on camera, I’m asking you—after I beat you, do you submit or not?

Evan Lin spoke in a calm, indifferent voice.

Ryan Luo gritted his teeth, staring at the camera, refusing to answer.

Too humiliating!

He already beat the guy, and now he’s still asking if he submits?

And this is happening at the Teacher–Student Assembly!

Insane! This new kid is a total beast—not even normal!

Everyone was talking at once.

Byron Yang glared, unable to stand it any longer. He tried to grab Evan Lin by the collar, but before he could reach him, Byron suddenly felt a strange force twist his feet, and he crashed to the ground.

This student has turned the whole place upside down! Get down here now! Principal Damon Deng shouted furiously.

Evan Lin stayed calm and unmoved, lifting Ryan Luo with one hand and tossing him cleanly into the air.

Ryan Luo screamed in terror as he hit the ground with a thud. Before he could recover, Evan Lin grabbed his collar again, hoisted him up, and demanded, 'Submit, or not?'

Just moments ago, the students were excited to watch the drama. Now, sitting in their seats, they stared at the projector—at the calm but determined boy—and felt a chill in their hearts.

To them, transfer students like Evan Lin were just fish on the chopping block, easy prey for anyone.

Until now, Evan Lin was just dragged into the multimedia room to be gawked at like a monkey, something for everyone to watch. But suddenly, everyone realized this transfer student was nothing like they imagined!

He wasn't afraid of teachers, students, or even the principal. He dared to do anything in front of the school leaders, and even called out Director Ben Lu without a hint of fear!

Lynn Chen was also a transfer student, but she was pretty, smart, and loved by teachers. Evan Lin, on the other hand, got sent to bottom-tier Class 12 because of his grades—proving he was seen as a lost cause.

Ryan Luo's nose was bleeding as Evan Lin held him up, half-suspended in front of the camera. Terrified, Ryan screamed, 'I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I shouldn't have picked on you just because you're a transfer student! I was wrong!'

Spare me! I give in!

Ryan Luo looked terrified, but before he could finish his plea, Evan Lin tossed him into the air again.

Everyone watched as Ryan Luo flew even higher this time, slamming down hard and shaking in pain on the floor.

Evan Lin grabbed him again. Ryan Luo's face was bruised and battered, and right beside the camera stood Wendy Wen, pale as a ghost.

Under the harsh lights, Wendy Wen watched Evan Lin drag the battered Ryan Luo, her heart in turmoil.

I asked if you submit, not if you’re sorry," Evan Lin said coldly.

Ryan Luo clung to Evan’s words like a lifeline, shouting, "I submit! I submit! I completely submit! Please let me go!"

After getting slammed around so many times, Ryan Luo was scared out of his mind—he didn’t care about pride anymore, just wanted to escape Evan Lin’s grip!

Get lost!

Evan Lin tossed Ryan Luo aside without a second thought.

Then Evan Lin stared calmly into the camera and said coldly, "If you want trouble, remember my face and my name. If you’re not afraid, come find me."

Trash like Mason He and Liam Liu—if you’re not convinced, say it now. If you want a beating, line up. One dog, two dogs, ten or twenty—doesn’t matter to me.

A few simple words from Evan Lin spread through the whole school, and every student’s face changed.

Especially Mason He and Liam Liu. The two of them were still plotting to mess with Evan Lin—never expecting trouble would find them first!
