Anger

"What did you just say?!" Jason Liu snapped.

Jason Liu's face changed dramatically when he heard Evan Lin's words.

His face turned cold and grim, and he locked his eyes onto Evan Lin.

"I'm only giving you face because you came with Sam Liu. That's why I bothered to explain so much to you!"

"Originally, today was supposed to be a day for immortals to accept disciples, so I shouldn't make a move. But you really don't know how to behave—you're way too arrogant!" Jason Liu sneered.

"Since that's how it is, I'll give you a little lesson and teach you how to act!" Jason Liu stepped forward, his aura oppressive.

As soon as Jason Liu finished speaking, he moved straight toward Evan Lin.

Seeing this, Damien You's expression darkened—he was ready to make a move as well.

Suddenly, the middle-aged man who had been standing beside Jason Liu without acting stepped right in front of Damien You.

Power surged from his body, his aura overwhelming—he was clearly a Pointing-to-Mystery Realm expert.

"Kids fighting—no need for adults to interfere."

The middle-aged man stood unmoving like a mountain, his gaze locked onto Damien You.

His voice was slow and steady, carrying a sense of authority.

A powerful pressure blocked Damien You's path.

"You? You think you can stop me?"

His expression shifted to a cold sneer. Damien You, a Hong Kong grandmaster, had been provoked nonstop these days, but his strength was still real—he was a genuine Hong Kong master.

Facing this Pointing-to-Mystery Realm expert, he wasn't afraid at all and was ready to fight.

Queenie Tong and Yvette Locke stood beside Evan Lin, frowning as they watched Jason Liu.

Sam Liu looked anxious, but with things escalating, he couldn't decide which side to try and calm down.

The atmosphere was tense, like a drawn bowstring.

Damien You was just about to start fighting the middle-aged man.

Jason Liu had already made up his mind to charge at the young man in front of him.

But Evan Lin just glanced at him indifferently.

"That kid actually dared to offend someone from the Ancient-Martial Liu clan here—he's doomed!"

"Yeah, Jason Liu obviously doesn't like him, but he keeps provoking Jason Liu. He really has no idea how scary the Ancient-Martial Liu clan is."

People nearby shook their heads as they watched.

Everyone present sided with Jason Liu.

No one thought Jason Liu's aggressive attitude was wrong.

Because he was from the Ancient-Martial Liu clan, he had the status and backing to look down on that young man.

That's just how reality is—reason and logic mean nothing when crushed by absolute status.

"Man, what a racket."

Evan Lin shook his head.

Jason Liu had already gathered his strength, striding right toward Evan Lin.

He curled his lips into a smirk: "Ladies, in a moment I'll show you what a real man is!"

"I'll make you see that the guy standing next to you is just a nobody—a total loser!"

He burst out laughing, about to make his move.

Evan Lin didn't even move.

But inside his Spatial Ring, three shadows flashed by.

They were all first-grade Pointing-to-Mystery female ghosts, charging straight ahead.

Without a word, one ghost soared above Jason Liu's head and stomped down hard.

The other two kicked him squarely in both knees, one on each side.

"Ah!"

Jason Liu had just finished speaking, his inner force surging, about to strike.

But suddenly he felt a massive force slam down from above, and pain explode in both knees, throwing him completely off balance.

His knees crashed down, his forehead smashed into the ground.

Bang!

The dull thud echoed in everyone's hearts.

Silence.

Everyone around was stunned, faces full of shock and confusion.

"What just happened?"

"Wait, wasn't Jason Liu just charging up to teach that kid a lesson? How did he end up kneeling right after?"

"Not just kneeling—he's full-on kowtowing! What's he playing at?"

The onlookers were all frozen in place, stunned by what they saw.

Nobody saw Evan Lin make a move—they just saw Jason Liu, who was laughing a moment ago, suddenly drop to his knees and kowtow the next.

Judging by the sound, the force of his kowtow was anything but gentle.

This was a formal grand礼.

"Bro?"

Sam Liu was just as shocked, staring blankly at Jason Liu.

"Jason, what are you doing!"

The middle-aged man who was about to fight Damien You suddenly froze, then erupted in rage: "Only outsiders kneel to the Ancient-Martial Liu clan—never the other way around!"

"You kneeling and kowtowing like this—you're disgracing the Liu clan!"

"Get up!"

He roared, face twisted with fury.

He could tolerate Jason Liu bullying others—it meant the Liu clan was strong—but he couldn't stand seeing Jason Liu kneel so humbly in front of someone.

This was straight-up humiliating!

It disgraced the Liu clan!

"I... I'll get up!"

Jason Liu was stunned, quickly lifting his head.

He had barely raised his head—

Bang!

A tremendous force slammed down on his head again, pinning him to the ground.

Second kowtow.

He had kowtowed twice.

Jason Liu's mind was still blank, completely dazed.

"What the hell!"

He felt someone stomping on his head, someone pressing down on his legs—he couldn't get up at all.

When his inner force surged again and he tried to rise—

Bang!

Third time.

A tremendous force struck for the third time.

Three consecutive kowtows, all directed at the young man before him.

Kneeling, kowtowing.

The onlookers were all silent, not daring to utter a word.

The scene before them was simply too bizarre.

He kept shouting about how he'd never kowtow, about teaching that kid a lesson—but his body was way more honest, kneeling and kowtowing again and again.

Jason Liu's head was aching from all the kowtowing.

Again and again he gathered his inner force, trying to get up, but every attempt failed.

The force pressing down on his head was simply irresistible.

With his strength, he didn't stand a chance to resist.

"Still not getting up? Still kowtowing?"
