Mad Young Lord

"Kid, I'm going to kill you!" The middle-aged man from White Sun Sect roared as he charged at Evan Chu.

Evan Chu didn't dare underestimate this middle-aged man. He could tell the man was at least Ninth-Layer Divine Martial Realm. If he wanted to defeat him, the only option was to use Tyrant Cleave.

But now, half of his Chaos Dragon Force was already consumed. If he used it again, he'd be left completely drained, dangerously weak—if anyone tried to take advantage of him at that moment, he couldn't even imagine how bad things might get.

But the arrow was already drawn and had to be loosed—he couldn't worry about anything else now. If things really went south, he'd just have to hide underground and recover his Chaos Dragon Force, though he worried Joan He and the others might get dragged down because of him.

Evan Chu's figure shot out like lightning, leaving behind a blur. The Flame Dragon Sword in his hand blazed with fiery light, and a dragon's roar echoed from the blade as a two-meter-long flame-red sword glow slashed toward his opponent.

Evan Chu was incredibly fast—this strike was even more domineering than the last, its world-shattering power crashing straight into the middle-aged man. But the man's own attack missed completely, because the moment Evan unleashed his sword, he darted to the side at blinding speed.

At this moment, he had completely run out of Chaos Dragon Force. He looked pale and exhausted, but still stood firm, watching what would happen to the middle-aged man.

Bang! Their energy attacks collided with a deafening crash, but Evan had already dodged aside. The man's attack hit nothing—wasted effort—while Evan's sword strike sliced him cleanly in two.

The massive flame sword-qi instantly set him ablaze, and in just a few breaths, he was reduced to ashes—leaving everyone shocked.

At that moment, the White Sun Sect master—perhaps in a final burst of consciousness—suddenly woke up. Seeing this scene, his rage and despair peaked; he spat out another mouthful of blood and closed his eyes, this time forever.

With a single, flawless strike, Evan Chu shocked everyone with his strength. The remaining White Sun Sect disciples fled in a panic—both their sect master and Grand Elder had been killed. Staying behind now was nothing but suicide.

Everyone understood: the once-arrogant White Sun Sect had just been destroyed by a mysterious young man, and it only took a single move. Such power was far from ordinary—even the masters of the Nine Great Sects might not be able to kill a peak Ninth-Layer Divine Martial expert in one blow, yet this youth did it without a scratch.

No one knew the youth's name, but they knew he came from the legendary Frostbane Sect, and that he was now its master. At his age, with this kind of strength, his future potential was limitless.

At that moment, Evan Chu quietly took out a piece of green liquid that had solidified from his storage ring and began absorbing it in his palm. Every bit of recovery counted.

The crowd burst into heated discussion; the more they talked about Evan Chu, the more exaggerated his legend became. Some claimed he was already at the Saint Martial Realm, so killing those two was easy.

Others said his display of power meant Frostbane Sect was rising again...

Just then, Joan He stepped up beside Evan Chu and said, “Sect Master, when will you return to Frostbane Sect with me? This place is too dangerous—we should leave as soon as possible.”

“I still have important matters to handle. You all go back first. When I return, it will be Frostbane Sect’s true resurgence. Don’t tell anyone in the sect about what happened today—I want absolute submission when I come back,” Evan Chu replied.

“Do you want me to stay and help?” Joan He asked. She was utterly astonished by Evan’s transformation. Others might not know his situation, but she did—back in the Mermaid Kingdom, he was only at the Heaven Martial Realm, yet now he could easily kill Ninth-Layer Divine Martial experts.

Such a change felt like a dream. But she understood it was natural, since Evan Chu was the reincarnation of the Lord of Frostbane. Back then, the Lord of Frostbane was one of the top powers in the Azure Tide Ruins.

“Take care, Sect Master. People can be treacherous—don’t trust others too easily. Sometimes, even what you see with your own eyes isn’t the truth,” Joan He warned.

She then led the other Frostbane Sect disciples away, vanishing from sight. Evan Chu glanced at the crowd and declared, “Today, Frostbane Sect killed White Sun Sect because they brought this on themselves. If anyone disagrees, step forward—I’ll take you on next.”

His words made those who’d considered stealing his Purple Jade Spirit-King Fruit give up. Facing such power was suicide. Even though everyone knew his Stellar Power was heavily depleted, not a single person dared take the risk.

The Four Young Lords of Azure Tide and the Two Saintesses were shaken as never before—especially Quentin Wen and Ethan Feng. Quentin remembered how, back at Wang Family Manor, he’d asked Evan for help, and now felt a chill run down his spine.

If he’d spoken out of turn back then, he might already be dead. He knew his own strength didn’t even match the White Sun Sect master, let alone Young Lord Peak, who could kill with a single strike.

In an instant, Evan Chu’s title of Young Lord Peak was etched into everyone’s mind. But they all called him Mad Young Lord, because he killed like a madman—too strange, too terrifying.

Ethan Feng secretly resolved to kill him. If this man wasn’t eliminated, Ethan would never be the leader of the Four Young Lords again. Now, with Mad Young Lord added, there were five—and the top spot was clearly Evan’s.

But Ethan knew this wasn’t the time. He already had a plan: once Mad Young Lord entered Freewind Palace, he wouldn’t leave alive. Whether out of jealousy or because of Serena Dream, Ethan was determined Evan wouldn’t walk out.

By now, Evan Chu had absorbed most of the green liquid, and about a tenth of his Chaos Dragon Force had recovered. He stopped and walked toward the Four Young Lords.

Just then, a voice both familiar and strange rang in Evan’s ears: “Mad Young Lord, impressive skills! I never expected you’d be Frostbane Sect’s master—you made me search so hard for you.”

Evan’s heart skipped a beat. He looked around but saw no one, so he quickly said to Ethan Feng, “Ethan, something urgent came up. I’ll join you at Freewind Palace—wait for me!”

With that, he soared into the sky and sped away. At the spot where Evan had just stood, a beautiful woman appeared...
