The shop assistant heard Elisa's words and quickly replied, "Miss, this is ready-to-wear and comes in four sizes. Your size is completely different from the other lady's. If you're not worried about wearing the same outfit as someone else, you absolutely don't have to worry about not being able to buy it."
The shop assistant thought Yina Yin was Cherry Miller's boyfriend, picking out clothes for his girlfriend, so with one glance at Cherry Miller, she immediately figured out Cherry's size.
Elisa's expression changed. She glanced at Cherry Miller, realized Cherry was wearing the smallest size while she herself needed the largest, and immediately became unhappy. She said, "Are you calling me fat? Can't I lose weight if I want to?"
The shop assistant was at a loss for words.
Cherry Miller said calmly, "Since this lady wants it, just give it to her."
Yina Yin shook his head speechlessly and said, "We don't want it anymore, thanks."
With that, Yina Yin took Cherry Miller's hand and prepared to leave.
Elisa snorted, then whined, "Miles, they're deliberately humiliating me! Are they treating me like a beggar? Your ex-girlfriend is definitely doing this on purpose! Miles, you promised you'd protect me! But your ex is always bullying me!"
Sure enough, Miles Gu frowned and turned to Yina Yin. "Don't go too far."
Yina Yin raised an eyebrow at him. "Too far? Want to see me push it even further?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Yina Yin turned to the shop assistant and said, "Go get your boss. I'm buying the whole store!"
Cherry Miller backed Yina Yin up with her actions, pulling out a card and placing it on the table. "This is a no-limit Black Card. You can charge whatever you want."
"Ha, what a big mouth." Miles Gu's red eyes showed no warmth as he looked coldly at Yina Yin. "I really don't know how my old self ever convinced myself to accept an engagement with you. A woman like you who confuses gender is a stain on the Field Family bloodline!"
Cherry Miller's face instantly changed!
This was Miles Gu's Second Persona—was he insane?
Sure enough, the next second, Yina Yin's emotions flared up: "Confuses gender? In your eyes, am I just some freak who's neither man nor woman? Ha, Miles Gu, you're really something!"
As soon as she finished, Yina Yin raised her fist and charged at Miles Gu.
Miles Gu was quick and dodged instantly. "Definitely a lunatic! I, Miles Gu, like girls who are sweet and gentle like Elisa. I'd never like a tomboy like you!"
"Miles Gu, you jerk!" Yina Yin's eyes were red with anger. She didn't care about anything anymore and kicked at him.
Both Miles Gu and Yina Yin had received professional training.
After their scuffle, the whole store was in chaos—fabric flying everywhere.
The shop assistant was startled.
This was a classic case of innocent bystanders getting caught in the crossfire!
"Stop fighting, stop fighting!" the shop assistant screamed.
Cherry Miller quickly covered the shop assistant's mouth and said calmly, "We've bought the store—any damages are on us. You can leave now."
Cherry Miller pushed the shop assistant out the door and locked it behind her.
Elisa watched in terror as Miles Gu and Yina Yin fought, feeling a twinge of regret in her heart.
Why did she have to provoke Yina Yin?
That tomboy was terrifying in a fight!
If she got hit, it would hurt like hell!
Just then, the chair Yina Yin kicked landed right in front of Elisa, making her scream, "Miles, save me!"
Miles Gu immediately turned and hugged Elisa. "Elisa, don't be scared. I'm here!"
Elisa shrank into Miles Gu's arms, trembling. "That Yina Yin is too much. She wants to kill me, wuwuwu..."
"Don't be scared, don't be scared. With me here, no one can hurt you." After saying this, Miles Gu glanced back at Yina Yin. "Don't bully Elisa. I'm the one breaking off the engagement with you, it has nothing to do with anyone else."
Yina Yin actually laughed out of anger. "Miles Gu, you're really something! Just for this woman..."
Yina Yin pointed at Elisa, but couldn't get another word out.
Twenty years of feelings, twenty years of childhood friendship.
All lost to a woman who just showed up out of nowhere.
Even though she knew this Miles Gu was his Second Persona...
She still couldn't help but feel heartbroken.
"Yina Yin, let's break off the engagement peacefully. We'll still be relatives." Miles Gu pulled Elisa behind him protectively—a gesture that stung both Yina Yin and Cherry Miller.
Even Cherry Miller couldn't stand it anymore and spoke up: "Mr. Field—or should I call you Young Master Field? You don't want the Yin Family, so I guess you don't want the name Miles Gu either, right?"
The name Miles Gu was given to him by Cecilia Gu, inheriting her surname.
It was an expression of Cecilia Gu's love for him.
That name carried a different kind of meaning.
Miles Gu almost blurted out that he didn't want that name anymore.
But when it came to actually saying it, he just couldn't.
Whenever he tried, something inside him fought for control over his body.
Miles Gu spaced out for a moment, but in the end, he didn't say it.
But Yina Yin was already heartbroken. She slowly unbuttoned her collar and pulled out a pendant from inside her shirt, carefully taking it off. "Miles Gu, this was the love token you gave me when we were kids. You said these pendants were a pair, representing yin and yang, representing heaven and earth. Now that you have someone else you want to protect, I'll give this back to you. You want to break off the engagement? Fine, I agree. Find a time, invite Earl Field, and formally break off the engagement with my parents present."
After saying that, Yina Yin held the pendant tightly in her palm for a moment, then slowly reached out and handed it to Miles Gu.
She opened her palm—a small black half-fish pendant lay quietly in her fair hand.
Yina Yin had the black fish; Miles Gu had the white one.

Put together, the black and white fish formed a complete Taiji (Yin-Yang symbol).
Miles Gu looked at the black fish in front of him, and his heart suddenly ached.
The pain came so suddenly, so fiercely.
It hurt so much that Miles Gu couldn't help but bend over.
What was happening to him?
Wasn't he the one who wanted to break off the engagement most?
