Turn the World Upside Down with Slaughter

1/5/2026

"Miss Cindy!" With the battle turning chaotic, nearly everyone from the Nang clan rushed forward—clearly, Cindy Nang was especially important to them.

The number of Japanese bandits was way down, but their strength was still insane—every single one was Void Realm, and the ones in the center were all Profound-Tier Void Realm.

Right now, Cindy Nang was still holding strong, muttering under her breath—seemed like she was chanting someone's name. Ryan Ling, sharp as ever, could tell just from her lips: she was whispering 'Ryan.'

"What a stubborn romantic!" Ryan shook his head, then shot forward like lightning, throwing himself right in front of Cindy Nang.

"Ryan!" Cindy blurted out, almost in tears. But when she looked closer, she realized it wasn't actually 'Ryan'—her heart sank a little.

"Baka!" The Japanese officer saw someone blocking the way and immediately swung his sword at Ryan's legs. Ryan didn't even bother dodging—right as the blade changed direction, it stabbed straight into his chest.

Behind him, Cindy Nang couldn't help but scream, shouting, "Venge Bao, you—?"

'Venge Bao' was the name Ryan made up on the spot—he'd been using it ever since staying at Sister Huifen's place. The meaning was clear: 'Venge Bao' literally means 'vengeance leopard.' Ever since leaving Jinling, he'd had only one goal in mind—get stronger, and get revenge!

Ryan didn't care about Cindy's surprise. He just smiled, and with a casual chuckle, the Japanese officer's katana shattered to pieces.

The Japanese officer's face went pale and he scrambled backward—he knew a real master, Venge Bao, had just stepped into the ring!

"Fighting's a man's job. You, little miss, should go be a hero's wife instead!" Without hesitating, Ryan grabbed Cindy and flung her up to safety.

Saved twice now—and this time, he didn't even block the blade for her—Cindy felt something subtly shift in her heart.

Instead of chasing after some vague 'hero' like Ryan Ling, maybe she ought to grab hold of the real hidden badass right in front of her.

But that thought only flashed through Cindy's mind for a second.

Right now, killing off the Japanese was what really mattered!

"Yoshi! You've got guts, I want to fight a real master!" The officer whose sword just shattered laughed, then whipped out two more blades from behind. Two others did the same—now six blades were pointing right at Venge Bao.

Looking at the rank on their shoulders, it was obvious—they were all major generals in the Japanese army.

Clearly, moving the Huaxia national treasure this time was anything but normal—three major generals showing up at once? Totally unheard of.

"You want to fight me?" Ryan sneered, totally fearless.

"That's right! Come on, let's go!" One of the Japanese major generals raised his eyebrows, looking extra hyped.
