Be Careful With Breakups

Inside the Primordial Gate, all was quiet as Lily Huang steadied herself.

Standing in the pale-red void, she really didn’t want to admit defeat, locking her gaze on Andrew Han as if she could glare down the green-robed Andrew before her... But the outcome was already decided, and her unwillingness was meaningless.

“Hmph.”

Lily Huang huffed in annoyance and shook her head.

She spoke softly, reminding him, “Our Primordial Gate has a total of two hundred and thirty-seven instructors. Though their realms vary, each one has spent countless years specializing in Starlight and Stellar Palace cultivation, and all possess extremely profound expertise.”

“Mm, I know.” Andrew Han nodded.

The Primordial Gate’s cultivation method is centered on competition among Geniuses, supplemented by elite instructor guidance, cosmic spectacle training, and constant steward supervision—a truly comprehensive system.

In fact—

By now, the Primordial Gate has developed a fully systematized cultivation program.

No matter what type of Human Genius you are, you can find the cultivation path best suited to yourself—though this does not include the Sealed Celestial Path. Even Life-Synthesis cultivators can receive some guidance, but Sealed Celestial Bodies are not covered here.

Simply put: within the Primordial Gate, the main cultivation systems are the life-gene and Soul-Will paths, with a minority following the Life-Synthesis Path.

Lily Huang belongs to the life-gene system at Starlight Tier.

Andrew Han, on the other hand, is a Composite Starlight-tier—mastering both life-gene and Soul-Will paths!

“I plan to attend some courses first.” He dusted off his tidy green robe, his expression unchanged by victory. Andrew Han smiled lightly, “After the classes, I’ll consider my cultivation direction. Only then will I apply to initiate the three-tier assessment.”

Hearing this, Lily rolled her eyes. “Didn’t expect you to be so meticulous.”

She’d thought Andrew Han was wasting time, but in fact, the opposite was true—he cultivated quietly while also studying the structure of the Primordial Gate. Otherwise, spending three years only on cultivation would be far too wasteful.

“Cultivation must be cautious.” Andrew Han chuckled, standing in the pale-red void and gazing at Lily.

In the distance, the twin stars continued their orbit, the torrent of light and heat still blazing along its trajectory. The surroundings remained tranquil, suffused with vast, peaceful stillness, unchanged by the outcome of the duel.

Occasionally, a streak of light would flash by—a Primordial-tier Genius passing through.

“Let’s head back.”

Lily Huang glanced at Andrew Han and said a word.

Immediately after—

She spun gracefully, her apricot-yellow robe drawing a brilliant, straight arc as she headed toward the vast manor above the torrent of light and heat between the twin stars.

Andrew Han lifted off as well, following alongside Lily.

......

It took them just over half a minute to return to the manor entrance, about as long as it had taken to leave.

The open manor was uniquely styled, its various buildings highlighted by the scattered sounds of casual conversation. Every Primordial-tier Genius fell silent, staring at Andrew Han and Lily Huang as they returned from their duel in the pale-red void beyond the twin stars.

Lily Huang had lost.

Andrew Han had actually won.

This was something most people could hardly imagine.

Occasionally, flames or lightning would flicker near the lively tables and chairs, reflecting the astonished mood of these Primordial-tier Geniuses. Remembering what had happened, many felt ashamed; the once lively gathering now seemed like a silent play, and their carefree comments had turned into cautious discussion.

Now, Andrew Han and Lily Huang entered the manor side by side, and the expressions of the assembled Geniuses changed noticeably.

“Andrew Han only won because he’s a Composite Starlight-tier.”

“Who cares what he relied on? He won, didn’t he? And he’s still in his adaptation period. Back when we were adapting, did any of us beat Lily Huang?”

“Andrew Han may not be overwhelmingly strong, but from the moment he defeated Lily Huang, he proved his Primordial Gate status. Whether Starlight-tier or Stellar Palace-tier, he deserves to be treated as an equal. He truly qualifies as a Primordial-tier Genius.”

The crowd exchanged glances, quietly sending messages to each other.

What truly astonished them was Andrew Han’s explosive cultivation progress. Once his adaptation period ended, he’d be able to firmly establish himself in the Primordial Gate and never again worry about demotion.

Everyone knew—

A significant number of Primordial-tier Geniuses risk falling back to the Standard Gate!

Such brutal competition means that those struggling on the edge of demotion are looked down upon, and many feel these Primordial-tier Geniuses are unworthy of the name!
