Hearing Ian Song’s words, Winnie Shentu’s eyes seemed to sparkle like stars. Senior Brother Song is so domineering—she really admires him.
Eugene Zou’s face instantly turned cold. "You must be in the wrong place. Tianwu House isn’t somewhere just anyone can cause trouble."
"I can!"
Ian Song’s gaze suddenly turned icy. He reached out, and Eugene Zou flew uncontrollably toward him, his neck landing in Ian’s grasp.
He raised his hand and slapped!
His movements were crisp and fluid, like a practiced routine.
"Slap! Slap! Slap!"
A series of clear slaps rang out. Instantly, everyone dining in the hall turned their heads to look, seeing a young man fiercely slapping Tianwu House’s manager, Eugene Zou. Shock and astonishment filled their faces.
The crowd began whispering among themselves.
"Who’s so bold, actually slapping the manager of Tianwu House?"
"Heh, this kid really doesn’t know his place, coming to Tianwu House to make a scene!"
"Haha, this’ll be good to watch!"
After slapping Eugene Zou more than ten times, Ian Song finally stopped, then turned to ask Winnie Shentu and the other three girls, "Do you think that’s enough?"
Thinking of her previously swollen cheeks, Winnie Shentu felt a surge of anger. "Not enough!"
"That’s right, not enough," Rose Changsun nodded in agreement.
"Alright, let’s keep going. Whenever you think it’s enough, just say stop. I’m here today to stand up for you!" As soon as Ian finished speaking, he raised his hand and started slapping again.
Once again, crisp slaps echoed through the room.
"Stop! Stop right now!"
At that moment, a middle-aged man in a brocade robe hurried over with two burly men in black, his face dark as he shouted.
"Slap! Slap! Slap!"
Ian Song kept slapping, showing no intention of stopping.
"I told you to stop!"
Seeing Ian wouldn’t stop, the richly dressed middle-aged man’s eyes filled with deep anger.
"Smack! Smack! Smack!"
Ian kept going, unfazed.
Now the middle-aged man was thoroughly enraged. He barked at the two burly men behind him, "Take him down!"
The two burly men in black were high-priced enforcers hired by the boss—the Lian brothers, Leon Lian and Paul Lian. Leon was a mid-level Grandmaster, and Paul was an early-stage Grandmaster.
As soon as the boss finished speaking, the brothers lunged forward together.
One threw a punch at Ian’s chest, the other swung a palm at his face.
"Out of my way!"
Ian spat out a single word, his voice booming like thunder.
At the same time, he swiftly struck out with both palms.
"Bang! Bang!"
Ian’s palms landed on the brothers’ chests almost simultaneously, sending them flying like broken kites. They crashed onto separate dining tables, startling the guests, who scrambled to get out of the way.
"Crash! Crash!"
The wooden tables couldn’t bear their weight and shattered instantly. Dishes and bowls smashed, oil and food splattering all over the brothers, leaving them utterly miserable.
Seeing this, the boss was shocked.
The Lian brothers had been sent flying by a single move—just how strong was this young man...?
After a brief hesitation, the boss stepped forward, clasped his fists, and asked Ian, "Who exactly are you? Why are you causing trouble at Tianwu House?"
"I’m here for the troublemakers."
Ian replied carelessly, then looked at Eugene Zou, whose cheeks were swollen, and asked, "Which private box is Young Master Yan in?"
"If you’ve got the guts, kill me! I’m not telling you!" Eugene snarled.
"Fine!"
With a crack, Eugene’s head lolled to the side—dead.
"He... he actually killed someone!"
"Who is this guy? He’s got some nerve, killing Tianwu House’s manager!"
"Heh, things are about to blow up now!" someone gloated.
Bang!
Ian tossed Eugene’s corpse aside, then turned to the boss. "You tell me—where’s Young Master Yan?"
Just as the boss opened his mouth, Ian’s voice rang out again: "If you don’t want to end up like him, think carefully before you answer!"
At those words, the boss shivered, glanced at Eugene’s corpse, and swallowed hard. "Young Master Yan is in the Horizon Room!"
"Let’s go!"
Ian ignored the boss and headed upstairs.
Meanwhile, the Lian brothers had gotten up and moved to the boss’s side.
The boss, flustered, said, "Leon, hurry to Sanctum Martial Academy and notify Young Master Wu. Tell him someone’s causing trouble at Tianwu House—he needs to get here fast!"
Horizon Room.
Two intermediate students stood guard outside the private box.
The commotion downstairs hadn’t escaped their notice. Seeing Ian approach with the four girls, their eyes grew cold. One glared at Ian and said:
"Get lost! Don’t disturb Young Master Yan’s meal!"
Ian didn’t reply and kept walking forward.
"Courting death!"
Seeing Ian didn’t even slow down, the student who’d threatened him lunged forward, throwing a flurry of punches.
Pop!
With a soft sound, Ian casually jabbed a finger, landing right on the student’s dantian.
Instantly, the student’s aura collapsed. He crumpled to the ground, completely immobilized.
Seeing this, the other intermediate student was shocked. With a roar, he unleashed his domain, trapping Ian and the four girls inside.
"Die!"
He suddenly drew his sword, slashing out dozens of fiery sword-qi, all shooting toward Ian.
"Pathetic. Not worth a second look!"
Even inside the enemy’s domain, Ian didn’t panic. He called out sharply, and as his voice rang out, a sword cry echoed.
"Shiiing!"
A flash of silver sword-light streaked like lightning.
Dozens of fiery sword-qi shattered instantly. There was a wet sound, and the student groaned, collapsing to the floor as his domain dispersed.
Ian had dealt with the two intermediate students as if it were nothing. The four girls behind him were shocked, excited, and a little worried—had Ian gone too far this time, standing up for them?
Creak!
Without another word, Ian pushed open the door to the Horizon Room.
Gavin Yan turned, annoyed. "Who let you in? Get out!"
"You’re Young Master Yan?" Ian asked, his gaze cool as he glanced at Harriet Gu, who sat across from Gavin.
The four girls followed Ian into the room.
Winnie Shentu spoke up angrily, "Ian, it’s him! He’s the one who slapped Rose and hurt Celine!" Suddenly, she noticed Harriet Gu and was surprised. "Eh? Senior Sister Gu, why are you here with this jerk?"
Gavin’s eyes lit up as soon as he saw Winnie and the other girls. "So you’re the backup they brought in!"
"Which hand did you use to hit them?" Ian asked, staring at Gavin.
"What, you want to stand up for them? Kid, do you really think you’re qualified?" Gavin mocked.
"Which hand?" Ian pressed.
"I used both hands. What can you do about it?" Gavin’s tone grew even more arrogant and dismissive.
"In that case, you don’t need either of them anymore."
As he spoke, Ian stepped forward, closing the distance in a flash.
Slash! Slash!
A flash of sword-light, a spray of blood—and two severed hands flew into the air.
Sheathing his sword, Ian turned and walked out, never sparing Harriet another glance.
Watching Ian’s retreating back, Harriet felt a painful tightness in her chest, as if something precious was slipping away from her.
