Identifying a Soul

At this moment, the nine Sword Spirit daggers ignored whether Evan Yang had any spiritual power left—since they couldn't give up halfway, they could only press on. The senior sealed beneath the grave could only speak, not help.

“Kid, I already told you not to mess around, and now you’re still at it.” The senior sealed beneath the grave didn’t know what else to say to Evan Yang.

In his eyes, Evan Yang would die if he kept going—not killed, but dying from spiritual exhaustion.

All his spiritual power would disappear, but Evan Yang didn’t see it that way. He believed that if he just held on a little longer, he’d be fine.

Sure enough, after a quarter of an hour, just as Evan Yang felt his spiritual power nearly depleted, the tenth Sword Spirit dagger finally stirred—it began to tremble.

The senior sealed beneath the grave was stunned. “Did it really work?”

Seeing movement, Evan Yang was overjoyed and continued to wait for the nine Sword Spirit daggers’ joint formation art to finish.

About half an hour later, the Sword Spirit dagger, once firmly embedded, began to loosen, until it suddenly flew out and circled Evan Yang in delight.

“Can you sense it?” Evan Yang hadn’t expected that the tenth Sword Spirit dagger, even without being refined by him, could sense the nine daggers on him.

Evan Yang grabbed the Sword Spirit dagger with one hand and grinned. “Done.”

Just then, the grave began to tremble, rumbling loudly. Evan Yang was startled and quickly jumped off the grave. “What’s happening?”

“This space is about to disappear. You’d better leave, quickly,” the senior said kindly.

Evan Yang asked, “Senior, what about you?”

“Don’t worry, once you’ve freed this Sword Spirit dagger, I’ll be able to move freely. Haha, thank you!” The senior laughed.

“Senior, you really can get out?” Evan Yang asked in surprise.

“Yes, I can. Now hurry up and go.” The senior laughed.

Evan Yang glanced around. The space seemed on the verge of exploding, so he quickly retreated.

On his way back, he soon heard the senior’s wild laughter: “I’m finally getting out!”

Just as Evan Yang was about to leave the cave, the senior called from behind: “Kid, what’s your name?”

Evan Yang couldn’t see the senior, but he could hear the voice, realizing the senior must have used some method to transmit his voice over a great distance.

“My name is Evan Yang,” Evan Yang replied.

“Good, good. I hope we meet again someday,” the senior laughed, then vanished.

Evan Yang saw that the space was about to collapse, so he quickly flashed out. The others still inside all disappeared.

Outside, Evan Yang discovered that the space inside had exploded, causing the surrounding mountains to collapse.

“Whew, better leave quickly. Soon, lots of people will come.” Seeing the area, Evan Yang exclaimed, then hurriedly vanished.

Sure enough, after Evan Yang disappeared, many people appeared here, all drawn by the strange phenomena.

And it wasn’t just one area—a huge crater appeared, leaving everyone baffled about what happened.

Evan Yang had already left. Now inside the Tower, seeing Evan return, everyone was happy. The Sevenmile Peak disciple was still unconscious; Evan didn’t interrogate him immediately, but said to his companions, “Stay here for a while. I’ll go into seclusion and be back soon.”

Everyone had no objections and continued to wait inside the Tower. Evan found a spot, took out the Sword Spirit dagger, and examined it, discovering it still carried another person’s aura.

“I need to erase this aura first.” Evan knew that, in this space, he could temporarily block the Sword Spirit dagger’s owner from tracking him, but it would be troublesome once he left, so he decided to erase the aura and refine it himself.

For this task, Evan Yang could only ask the other Sword Spirit daggers for help. The nine Sword Spirit daggers eagerly awaited meeting their tenth brother, so they joined forces, forming a circle around the tenth dagger, much like activating a formation art.

Then Evan Yang saw the foreign aura on the tenth Sword Spirit dagger gradually fade. Once it was completely gone, he began to refine it.

After the refinement, the ten Sword Spirit daggers gathered together again, becoming unusually excited and circling Evan Yang.

Evan Yang smiled, “I know you’re happy, but how do I unlock your seals?”

“All ten of us Sword Spirits were sealed this way. Only by merging all ten can the seal be broken, but that requires enough spiritual power,” one Sword Spirit said.

“Enough? How much do you need?” Evan Yang asked suspiciously.

“At least at the Immortal level. Even if not, you need to be very close to it,” a Sword Spirit replied.

Evan Yang was discouraged. He was still several realms away from the Immortal level, so he reluctantly put the ten Sword Spirit daggers away, planning to use them in the future.

After coming out of seclusion, Evan Yang found Elena and the others. At that moment, Brandon Fenn was also lying there unconscious.

“Who is this?” Elena asked curiously.
