Yet in the next instant, he froze. Not only him—Clara Heart and the goat-spirit guard outside the door also froze.

The demon soldier nodded emphatically.
At once, Damon Six-Ears' brows furrowed deeply, forming a character like the figure eight, and he glanced over at Clara.
"We just mentioned him, and now he shows up—what's he planning?"

The demon soldier added nervously, "A middle-aged Daoist, dressed in sect robes, cultivation level about Spirit-Transformation Celestial Adept—judging by his appearance, he should be a disciple of Crescent Star Cave. And he's brought along a child who’s only at Spirit-Focusing stage."
"A child?" Clara immediately thought of Aiden Chen.
"If they're traveling with a child, at the very least... they're probably not here to pick a fight." Damon Six-Ears let out a long sigh, his eyes darting as he said, "Let them into the hall."
Soon, Eugene appeared in the throne hall, leading Aiden Chen.
As soon as they stepped into the hall, Aiden Chen's gaze locked onto Clara Heart, but he quickly noticed Damon Six-Ears as well. He lowered his head and walked forward quietly, still sneaking glances at Clara.
Eugene led Aiden Chen all the way to Damon Six-Ears' throne, where they stopped.
Eugene bowed deeply: "Disciple Eugene greets Uncle Master Wukong and Uncle Master Clara."
Aiden Chen quickly followed Eugene's example, bowing deeply: "Disciple Aiden Chen greets Master."
Damon Six-Ears pointed at Aiden Chen and asked, "Your disciple?"
Clara didn't reply, but simply beckoned to Aiden Chen.
At her gesture, Aiden Chen immediately ran and threw himself into Clara's arms.
"Master..."
Clara scolded gently, "Why did you come? Didn't I tell you to stay at the temple? Who gave you permission to come here?"
