Dominating the Dragon Shrine

At this moment, everyone in the grand hall was thrown into panic. "Golden Dragon Shrine Master, do you think Evan Chu might actually kill the Silver Dragon Clan Chief? Judging by his strength, it seems possible. What should we do?" said the Golden Dragon Grand Elder.

"No one can pinpoint the exact location of a black hole domain. If we force one open now, it’s almost impossible for it to connect with theirs. Saving the Silver Dragon Clan Chief is out of the question. All we can do is wait—wait for them to emerge. The only thing is, we don’t know who’ll be coming out this time," said the Golden Dragon Shrine Master.

"As long as Evan Chu dares to come out, I’ll cut him down myself. Anyone who dares disrespect my Silver Dragon Clan Chief must die!" a middle-aged man said angrily.

"Are you an idiot? You actually want Evan Chu to come out? If he does, won’t the Silver Dragon Clan Chief be in danger? What a jinx," another elder retorted.

For a moment, heated debate broke out in the grand hall. One after another, their faces showed a sense of powerlessness—terrified by Evan Chu’s monstrous strength, yet deeply worried for the Silver Dragon Clan Chief.

Right now, the Golden Dragon Shrine Master was the most conflicted of all. He had no idea how to handle Evan Chu’s identity. Judging by everyone’s reaction, they clearly rejected him. His younger sister had only one child—Evan Chu. Even as master of the Divine Dragon Shrine, he was often powerless; take his own sister, for example: as Shrine Master, he couldn’t release her on his own authority, but needed the approval of everyone present.

At that moment, Evan Chu glared furiously at the stunned Silver Dragon Clan Chief. "Anyone who insults my mother deserves death. You—just a lowly Silver Dragon—what do you have to be proud of? Show me your true form and let me witness your strength, or you’ll be the next to die!"

"Watch your mouth, boy! Today I’ll show you the true power of the Silver Dragon Clan!" The Silver Dragon Clan Chief ignored Evan Chu’s provocation and instead drew a silver spear from his storage ring. It looked similar to the Silver Dragon Commander’s, but the sinister glow at its tip marked it as a rare treasure.

Evan Chu grinned. "Since you’re so eager to die, I’ll grant your wish!" With a thought, the Chaos Dragon Force within him surged violently, and he unleashed Star-Cleave at blinding speed. As the technique erupted, the entire black hole domain trembled, as if it might rupture at any moment.

The Silver Dragon Clan Chief refused to back down—he whirled his spear, conjuring countless spear phantoms that filled the air before Evan Chu. But the colossal sword-qi from Evan’s Star-Cleave instantly shattered most of those phantoms, crashing straight into the chief, while the remaining spears pierced Evan as well.

Suddenly, a violent energy storm erupted inside the black hole domain, shattering the entire dimension in an instant. The two of them reappeared above the Divine Dragon Shrine Grand Hall—Evan Chu’s chest was gouged with several deep, bone-revealing wounds from the Silver Dragon Clan Chief’s spear phantoms, but the injuries were healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.

But the Silver Dragon Clan Chief was far less fortunate—a bowl-sized hole had been blasted through his chest, his life draining away. He stared at Evan Chu in terror, his face twisted in disbelief, and stammered, "How... how could it... end like this?"

As soon as he finished speaking, he collapsed onto the hall floor. Evan Chu spoke coldly, "It’s simple—you’re just too weak. Disrespecting my mother is disrespecting me, Evan Chu. I am now the number one human powerhouse. What right does a mere Silver Dragon have to judge my mother?"

"You’ve gone too far, boy! How dare you kill our Silver Dragon Clan Chief? The Silver Dragon Clan will never coexist with you!" shouted the middle-aged man from earlier.

"Don’t try to scare me with your Silver Dragon Clan—I couldn’t care less. If you hate me so much, I’ll send you to join your clan chief," Evan Chu sneered.

He instantly produced a Yellow Sand World Bead. With a flash of yellow light, the entire crowd was dragged into a bizarre new domain—endless yellow sand stretching in every direction, the air thick with mist. This world was the polar opposite of the paradise in Divine Dragon Valley.

Everyone was shocked—Evan Chu actually had the power to bring them all here! Their hearts brimmed with wariness. At that moment, Evan Chu declared, "Now it’s time to end you. Didn’t you swear loyalty to your Silver Dragon Clan Chief? I’ll grant your wish!"

As soon as Evan Chu finished speaking, the loyal middle-aged man was suddenly yanked into the air—completely against his will. He didn’t understand how he’d ended up there, and before he could react, a longsword was already at his throat.

This middle-aged man was the youngest elder of the Silver Dragon Clan, already at Fifth-Layer Venerable Martial Realm—equal to the Golden Dragon Protector’s strength. To truly intimidate the crowd, Evan Chu unleashed his most powerful Star-Cleave, aiming it directly at the elder.

The elder didn’t even have time to react before he was obliterated—no bones left behind. The monstrous sword-qi swept out in all directions; even though most had flown into the air during Evan Chu’s earlier battle, the attack range was so vast that many were caught in the shockwave and suffered serious injuries.

And that was after the Golden Dragon Shrine Master and Golden Dragon Grand Elder intervened to block part of the attack—otherwise, who knows if half the crowd would have perished from that single strike? Evan Chu didn’t care in the slightest; he reveled in the chaos his power caused.

"This is the fate of those who disrespect my mother. Golden Dragon Shrine Master, you’re my uncle—I won’t make things hard for you. I know you’re powerless to change my mother’s situation, but I hope you won’t interfere with me. I just want my mother released as soon as possible. Today, I’m going to cut down everyone who stands against her." Evan Chu’s voice was icy and resolute.

"If you do this, you’ll cripple the Dragon Clan’s strength—these are our elites, you can’t just kill them," said the Golden Dragon Shrine Master. Although he wanted his sister freed, as Shrine Master he was duty-bound to protect his people, no matter how powerful Evan Chu was.

Evan Chu glanced at the Golden Dragon Shrine Master. "You planning to fight me? This is my domain—none of you can harm me, but I can strike any of you down. If you don’t believe it, go ahead and try."

The crowd was half-convinced, half-doubtful. Then the Golden Dragon Grand Elder stepped forward. "Boy, if you want your mother freed, you’ll have to get past me first."
