Earthen walls? Yang Han couldn’t be more familiar with those. To him, it was like showing off in front of a true master. He shouted, swung his hand, imbuing it with earth spirit power—power that could shatter the opponent’s walls. Instantly, all those walls crumbled and vanished.
Trent Mann stared at Yang Han in disbelief. “Impossible! Who are you, really?”
“Who I am doesn’t matter. What matters is that none of you are leaving today!” Yang Han declared. He punched Trent Mann, sending him crashing into the icy wall of Mason Gu, gravely injured. Seeing Gavin White and Huan Wuqin in trouble, Yang Han immediately flashed over to help them both.
Mason Gu saw his chance. He sent a voice transmission to Trent Mann: “You see it too—his strength. Alone, we can’t handle him. You’d better let me out and let’s use the Four Great Evil Souls’ Destruction Art together, or else we’ll just be waiting to die.”
Trent Mann understood—Yang Han was beyond what any one of them could handle. Though he hated Mason Gu, he said, “Fine, I’ll work with you for now. How do we break out?”
“I’ve already figured out his seal. Work with me, inside and out, and we can break it,” Mason Gu replied.
Trent Mann did as instructed. He and Mason Gu struck the same spot at once. A crack appeared. With the crack, Mason Gu’s body vanished. When he reappeared outside, he went straight to the patch of soul grass holding his other soul fragment, absorbed it, and said to Trent Mann, “This is the Spirit-Losing Sacred Ground—our souls get scattered and weakened here. We need to get out.”
Trent Mann nodded, then rushed out with Mason Gu. At the same time, Mason Gu sent a voice transmission to Damon Mann and Sam Mann, telling them the plan.
Just as Yang Han finished helping Gavin White and was about to aid Huan Wuqin, he saw those two leaving, and then the other two followed.
Yang Han, Gavin White, and Huan Wuqin frowned and dashed out of the Spirit-Losing Sacred Ground, only to find the four of them standing there, waiting and watching.
“You three aren’t getting away today!” Mason Gu laughed, especially gleeful seeing the three injured while he was in perfect shape.
With the three injured, Trent Mann and his companions had no choice but to follow Mason Gu’s lead, watching Yang Han’s group.
“We’re not planning to run. In fact, you’re the ones who won’t escape.” Yang Han replied.
“Oh, really? Do you dare come out and fight? If not, we’ll call Evil King Darren Duan and have him come.” Mason Gu smirked.
Yang Han didn’t know exactly how strong the Evil King was, but he knew letting him arrive would be dangerous. All three realized their location was exposed—they had to leave.
So, the three flew out, planning to defeat these four before escaping.
“Idiots, you finally let yourselves be tricked by us.” Mason Gu laughed. The four formed a ring, surrounding Yang Han’s group. Each of them summoned a strange force, linking all four together.
“A four-man combo?” Huan Wuqin exclaimed in shock.
“That’s right. Let’s see how you handle the power of all four of us.” Mason Gu sneered. In his eyes, their combined strength wasn’t just addition—it multiplied several times, more than enough to crush Yang Han.
Yang Han felt their power surge after teaming up. A barrier automatically formed, trapping the three inside. Within it, attacks of various attributes appeared, each coming from one of the four, and these attributes could shift and combine—their power was obvious.
But for Yang Han, being a multi-attribute cultivator, this didn’t scare him. He was only worried about the safety of the other two, so he kept an eye on them while fending off the attacks.
Meanwhile, far away, Evil King Darren Duan frowned. “Those four are using their fusion art on their own? Their opponent must be strong. I’d better finish up here and go check it out.”
Sensing his four subordinates joining forces, Darren Duan worried they might still lose and decided to go take a look soon.
“Got it.” Gavin White and Huan Wuqin responded, moving back-to-back with Yang Han to guard his rear. Yang Han split part of his divine sense to watch over them, while focusing his main attention on Mason Gu. Power began to gather in his hands—the Soul Battle Will he was about to unleash.
Seeing Yang Han’s aura rise again, the four looked uneasy. But Mason Gu was sure their combined power was unbreakable, so they kept the three trapped, launching more attacks at Yang Han.
While defending, Yang Han finished gathering his power. Another vortex, just like the one he used against Mason Gu before, formed in his hand and shot straight at him.
Mason Gu snorted, “That trick again? I’m not afraid.”
But before he finished boasting, the vortex slammed into Mason Gu like a heavy blow. He couldn’t withstand it and was sent flying. With one man down, and the other three already injured, the formation quickly broke. Yang Han, Gavin White, and Huan Wuqin seized the chance to defeat them all.
With all four finally bound by Yang Han, he laughed. “So, this is all the so-called Four Great Evil Souls amount to? You can’t even take a single hit.”
“You—” Mason Gu growled, furious at being defeated so easily. The other three Evil Souls were also terrified by Yang Han’s methods; where they once underestimated him, now they saw him as a truly frightening monster.
Trent Mann spoke up, “Are you one of the Saint Kings’ people?”
Tianmen spoke up, “Are you one of the Saint Kings’ people?”
“If you’re not, then we have no real grudge. Let us go—pretend nothing happened.” Trent Mann pleaded.
Mason Gu laughed, “Don’t bother. I told you before—he’s not letting us go.”
The ancient gate laughed, “Don’t bother. I told you before—he’s not letting us go.”
Yang Han chuckled. “That’s right—I’m not letting you go.”
Then Yang Han turned to Huan Wuqin. “Our position’s exposed. Who knows if that so-called Evil King will show up.”
“He’ll probably notice. We should hurry and leave, go find the Saint Kings’ faction. Only they can stand up to an Evil King,” Huan Wuqin said after thinking it over.
“Alright, let’s go.” Yang Han replied.
But just as they were about to leave, a vast aura descended from the sky. A cold voice snorted, “Trying to leave? Who do you think I, Evil King Darren Duan, am?”
“Not good—it’s Evil King Darren Duan!” Huan Wuqin said.
A figure descended in front of them, heading straight to the four bound souls. He checked them over, then frowned. “Who sealed them?”
Yang Han knew he was facing a major figure now, but answered boldly, “I did.”
“That madman—what’s your connection to him? Why can you seal like this?” Darren Duan asked.
“I don’t know who you’re talking about. I just know this technique.” Yang Han was used to people commenting on his sealing ability.
Darren Duan watched for a while, then gave a strange smile. “Kid, how about you follow me? I’ll guarantee your safety—and give you anything you want.”
The three immediately understood what he meant: Darren wanted to recruit Yang Han as a tool for his dirty work.
“And what if I say no?” Yang Han replied.
As soon as he spoke, Gavin White and Huan Wuqin vanished from his side. Darren Duan appeared, holding each woman by the throat. “If you refuse, they’ll die because of you. Make your choice.”
Yang Han hadn’t expected Darren Duan’s power to be so terrifying—he’d grabbed Gavin White and Huan Wuqin in an instant. Furious, Yang Han shouted, “Let them go!”
“Getting angry is useless. In the face of power, you have no choice. Obey,” Darren Duan said coldly.
Yang Han knew that if he refused, White Moon and Huan Wuqin would die. He was out of options—if he tried to fight, they’d be dead before he could even reach Darren Duan.
Seeing Yang Han’s angry but helpless expression, White Moon shouted, “Don’t worry about us—just go!”
“She’s right—go!” Huan Wuqin echoed.
“If you run, they die instantly.” Darren Duan sneered.
Yang Han had no choice—he couldn’t abandon them. He said, “What do you want me to do?”
“Simple. Help me seal someone.” Darren Duan replied.
“Who?” Yang Han asked.
“The Saint King.” Darren Duan said. Yang Han was shocked. “Impossible! The Saint King’s power—I can’t seal him.”
“I mean when he’s badly wounded,” Darren Duan said with a smile.
Yang Han hadn’t expected Darren Duan to threaten him this way.
“Don’t hesitate. Come with me—I’ll make sure all three of you stay safe,” Darren Duan said.
“Fine, but I have a few conditions,” Yang Han replied.
Darren Duan wanted to use Yang Han, so he agreed. “Go ahead, name them.”
“First, they must be safe, or I won’t go with you. Second, don’t use orders or command me—no one can, or I’d rather die. Third, I’ll deal with your people however I see fit.” Yang Han listed three conditions.
Darren Duan frowned—these were challenging terms. But if he refused, Yang Han would rather die, and he’d get nothing. So he said, “Alright.”
“Almost forgot—one more. You’re not allowed to ask about the Spirit Prison Evil Orb,” Yang Han added.
“That one’s impossible. I’ve spent years chasing her for it, and the orb is crucial to me. Pick another,” Darren Duan immediately refused.
Yang Han hadn’t expected Darren Duan to refuse. At that moment, Huan Wuqin spoke up, “The Spirit Prison Evil Orb isn’t with me. Even if you ask, I’ll tell you, but you still won’t get it.”
