The Realmrift was filled with chaotic vortexes and blade-like energies. Spatial fissures and dislocations were common occurrences. The world's elemental energy here was thin and weak; regardless of one's cultivation level, it was nearly impossible to train after entering the Realmrift.
When Joe Di first obtained the Duality Blossom, he had left numerous spiritual marks throughout this stretch of Realmrift. Yet now, he could not sense any trace of those marks. Clearly, the place he currently stood was not where he had found the Duality Blossom before.
With no other choice, Joe Di called out to Bolt, and transformed the Voidmount into a skyship, handing over control to Bolt.
Traveling through the Realmrift, ordinary skyships would soon be torn apart. Joe Di possessed only one supreme flight artifact, which he had painstakingly crafted from rare materials over a long period. He could not afford to waste such a treasure here without reason.
Besides, searching for the Duality Blossom in the Realmrift was not a matter of speed.
After repeatedly instructing Bolt that their sole purpose in the Realmrift was to find the Duality Blossom, Joe Di began his secluded cultivation atop the Voidmount, refining the Creation Brush and comprehending the Genesis Opening Incantation.
Now that he had brought out the Creation Brush, Joe Di was certain that Samuel Shang would not be able to sense it. In other words, even if Samuel Shang could somehow sense it, what could he do? He was locked away in the Lost Dao Domain and could not escape.
Even if, against all odds, Samuel Shang did escape, he could not summon the Creation Brush from within the Voidmount. Although Voidmount was not as real as the Ninth World, it was not so easily taken away by others.
Bolt thumped his chest with a loud crack, promising to find the Duality Blossom and rescue the Mistress.
With Bolt searching for the Duality Blossom, Joe Di immediately entered seclusion to study the Creation Brush. He faintly sensed that the universe was about to be thrown into turmoil once more.
Whether it was Ethan North, whom he had once rescued, or the suddenly appearing Lotus Sage, or even the terrifying powerhouses of the Lost Dao Domain led by Samuel Shang—if these experts ever entered the vast cosmos, without a breakthrough in his own strength, Joe Di feared he would be less than an ant.
Don’t be fooled by his dominance in the Lost Dao Domain, making even Samuel Shang drink his foot-washing water. Joe Di knew all too well that compared to the true experts of the Lost Dao Domain, he was insignificant.
He could suppress these people only because, in the Lost Dao Domain, their Way Resonance was weak and their cultivation had deteriorated to the extreme. If any of them escaped the Lost Dao Domain, even a single one would be far beyond his ability to handle.
Moreover, he was carrying a trove of treasures, at least known to Samuel Shang. If Samuel Shang ever escaped, Joe Di doubted he wouldn’t be the first to hunt him down and turn him to dust. As for the Lotus Sage, although Joe Di sensed her attitude toward him was favorable, he couldn’t stake his life on someone else’s goodwill.
It was precisely this sense of urgency that drove him to achieve the Prime Realm as quickly as possible. Without it, he was still just a small fish.
The moment the Creation Brush appeared, an overwhelming Genesis aura swept forth. Within the brush, Joe Di sensed endless, boundless Way Resonance. It was as if a complete cosmic civilization unfurled before him, the universe growing brilliant and profound thanks to the Creation Brush. This brilliance and profundity were formed by countless Way Resonance glyphs, each transforming from vague to clear, like stars scattered throughout Joe Di’s consciousness, shining across the cosmos.
Every glyph was a stream of Way Resonance, each one containing a brand-new cosmic law. Joe Di drew a sharp breath—how long would it take to refine the Creation Brush?
A thousand years? Ten thousand? Or even longer?
Interwoven among these endless, star-like cultivation glyphs was the mottled Way Resonance of Samuel Shang, wrapping around every glyph on the Creation Brush, one after another, stretching on without end.
Joe Di knew clearly that to refine the Creation Brush, he must strip away every trace of Samuel Shang’s Way Resonance left upon it.
Joe Di felt no shame about this. Under the operation of his Rule Dao, he began to refine the vast Dao aura on the Creation Brush with his own Way Resonance.
Just the first Dao Glyph took Joe Di several months. When he stripped away the Way Resonance surrounding this glyph and merged it into his own Rule Dao, he was delighted to discover that, after refining this first glyph, all the Dao Glyphs on the Creation Brush transformed into Chinese characters—his own system of cosmic script.
This thrilled Joe Di. These characters were much quicker for him to refine, and far easier to accept. In his eyes, Chinese script was the most beautiful writing in the universe, bar none. Each character carried boundless civilization, and each one was infused with endless Way Resonance of the Heavenly Dao.
Clearly, the original glyphs on the Creation Brush belonged to Samuel Shang. The scripts he used were all Dao Glyphs, with a handful of Ancient Script.
The thought of inscribing the Dao of Chinese characters with the Creation Brush made Joe Di even more excited and enthusiastic.
Joe Di refined the second character in just half a month, burning away every trace of Samuel Shang’s Way Resonance.
Even Samuel Shang likely had no idea that Joe Di possessed a completely different system of cosmic script, unrelated to Dao Glyphs.
Had Joe Di refined the original glyphs on the Creation Brush, any glyph created by Samuel Shang would have taken decades, even centuries, to refine. Even Dao Glyphs, saturated with Samuel Shang’s Way Resonance, would have taken at least a month each, if not longer.
As Joe Di refined the Way Resonance on the Creation Brush and comprehended the endless cosmic script, his delight only grew. For the first time, he encountered a brand-new law, one that constructed a new Dao and formed countless new cosmic rules. With each Chinese character he refined and understood, the next one became easier. Simultaneously, his insight into Chinese script deepened.

Ethan North spat out a mouthful of blood, his body tracing a streak of light through the void, crossing thousands of miles in an instant. At this moment, he was desperately racing toward Celestial Beyond, hoping Joe Di had already returned there so they could join forces to defeat the strange powerhouse who had appeared out of nowhere.
A single technique from this person had nearly wiped out one percent of all life in the Primordial World. If not for Ethan North unleashing the Buddhist scroll from the Seven Scrolls of Creation and luring the enemy into pursuit, the entire Primordial World would have been annihilated.
Thanks to Joe Di, Ethan North obtained a drop of Cosmic Essence. With its help, he managed to recover to the late Prime Realm, just one step away from the Third Step. Even so, he was no match for this strange foe. After being struck by the enemy’s technique, his soul and body had yet to recover, and even his vitality had grown thin.
His only consolation was that he still had a secret escape technique, keeping the strange enemy from catching him for the time being.
Ethan North knew Joe Di’s strength well. As long as he could find Joe Di, the two of them together could suppress this strange enemy. The enemy’s technique was bizarre, seeming to carry a law of catastrophe and extinction. Joe Di’s physical body was extraordinary; such a body should not fear the enemy’s disaster technique.
Ethan North fled for more than ten years, hiding and dodging all the way, but no matter how he ran, he could not escape the pursuit of this strange enemy.
By Ethan North’s calculations, in just over a year, he would be able to reach Celestial Beyond.
