Evan Chu’s Wedding Part Four

1/19/2026

Soaring Feather Young Lord Ethan Fenn heard the Freewind Palace Lord’s words and immediately smiled: “Today is Rina Dreamer’s day of great happiness—I’m truly glad for her, and I couldn’t help but smile.”

"I’m glad you can put aside your pain and look forward," the Freewind Palace Lord said. "A man should keep his eyes on the future and focus on his career. One day, Freewind Palace will be yours—don’t let romance delay your cultivation."

"I understand, Master. I won’t let you down!" Soaring Feather Young Lord Ethan Fenn replied, though inwardly he thought, "The position of Palace Lord is already mine—what’s there to worry about? And Rina Dreamer is mine too. Just watch and see! No one else is allowed to take her from me—she belongs to me!"

Evan Chu’s wedding escort moved slowly through the sky, flower petals drifting down and celestial music playing, letting everyone below truly experience the grandeur of this wedding.

By afternoon, the wedding escort finally returned to Frostbane Sect. By now, many guests had arrived; Joan He and the sect disciples warmly greeted everyone, and the whole place overflowed with festive cheer.

When Evan Chu carried Selena Yale toward the giant flower palanquin, Selena Yale told him about what happened to Lin Shuang, warning him to stay alert—there was a real chance someone would try to disrupt the wedding.

Evan Chu didn’t react much to Selena Yale’s words. Since the enemy had already poisoned Lin Shuang with gu, they would definitely make a move. But when Selena Yale mentioned that the black-clothed youth was likely the one from Dark Sanctuary, he was genuinely surprised.

If Dark Sanctuary’s people dare to appear so blatantly, it can only mean one thing—they’re ready, and strong enough to challenge the Nine Great Sects. This is what truly worries Evan Chu; maybe today, Frostbane Sect will become the starting point for an all-out sect war.

If they can poison Heavenly Fragrance Pavilion, they can poison people from other sects too—Evan Chu couldn’t ignore that. After learning the poison would be put into the drinking water, he understood their plan and ordered Heaven Ape and the Grand Elder to defend Frostbane Sect’s water sources—no one was allowed near.

He also sent dozens of elite sect disciples to secretly keep an eye on the top disciples from the Nine Great Sects who’d come for the wedding. The Four Young Lords were all under surveillance—especially Soaring Feather Young Lord, to whom Evan Chu assigned two extra watchers.

As night slowly fell, wedding candles were already burning in Frostbane Sect’s main hall. This time, the Sacred Sword Sect Master presided over Evan Chu’s wedding—only someone of his status could officiate the marriage of a sect master. Of course, the Freewind Palace Lord could also do it, but as a woman, it was somewhat inconvenient, and as the honored guest from the bride’s side, she needed to sit in the place of honor to receive Evan Chu and Serena Dream’s formal bows; officiating was out of the question.

Just then, a girl in a white dress walked up to Sharon Lin and said, "Miss Lin, it’s time to act. If you want the gu poison in your body removed, you’d better follow the plan."

Sharon Lin glanced at the girl—she was a stranger, but her cultivation was about the same as Sharon’s, already at the Ninth Layer of the Divine Martial Realm. Sharon was startled; this dark organization was truly frightening, even a random messenger had such strength.

"I understand. I’ll go complete the mission now—just make sure you keep your word!" Sharon said, then left the crowd and headed toward Frostbane Sect’s kitchens.

Frostbane Sect was huge now, so even finding the kitchens took some time. After Sharon left, the Frostbane Sect disciples assigned to watch her followed as well, keeping perfectly hidden so no one could spot them.

Meanwhile, someone approached Soaring Feather Young Lord too—a woman, but her cultivation was only around the Fifth Layer of the Divine Martial Realm. She delivered the same message as to Sharon Lin, and after hearing it, Soaring Feather Young Lord quickly left as well.

At last, night arrived. The Sacred Sword Sect Master announced, "The auspicious hour has come—groom, bring the brides down from the palanquin!" His voice wasn’t loud, but everyone in Frostbane Sect heard it clearly.

Under countless gazes, Evan Chu walked up to the massive flower palanquin, lifted the curtain, and led out a bride veiled in red. The crowd erupted in applause and warm congratulations.

Next, the second bride appeared. Everyone knew Evan Chu was marrying three women today, so they waited for him to bring out the last bride. Amid their anticipation, the third bride emerged before the crowd.

Just when everyone thought Evan Chu would escort all three brides into the main hall together, he did something completely unexpected—he brought out a fourth bride from the giant palanquin. Four brides appearing at once stunned the entire audience; gasps and exclamations rippled through the hall, and some elders even stood up in shock, unable to believe their eyes.

Even the Freewind Palace Lord and Bloodfiend Hall Master Darius Nie found it unbelievable—Evan Chu really was an eccentric, marrying four women at once, something almost unheard of in the Azure Tide Ruins. The whole hall buzzed with speculation and awe.

Everyone was talking about the Frostbane Sect Master’s actions today, but Evan Chu didn’t care at all. He simply entered the main hall with his four brides.

The Sacred Sword Sect Master then said, "Bride and groom, take your places and prepare for the ceremony!"

Evan Chu stood in the center, the four women on either side of him. The Bloodfiend Hall Master and Freewind Palace Lord sat at the very top of the hall, while the sect representatives stood to the sides.

Evan Chu found it odd that the Dark Sanctuary Master hadn’t shown up—he’d sent an invitation, but not only was the master absent, none of Dark Sanctuary’s people could be seen. Evan Chu felt something was off about this.

He could only hope Heaven Ape and the others would really stop the dark organization’s plot; otherwise, today would surely erupt into a full-scale sect war.

In the end, he realized that the dark organization’s real target was his own Frostbane Sect—something he’d never expected.

"First bow to Heaven and Earth!" the Sacred Sword Sect Master called loudly.

Evan Chu and the four women bowed toward the hall entrance, then turned around. "Second bow to the elders!" They bowed again, this time to the Freewind Palace Lord and Bloodfiend Hall Master seated at the top.

"Mutual bow as husband and wives!" With that, Evan Chu stepped back and exchanged bows with the four brides. Everyone agreed that the Frostbane Sect Master’s wedding was truly one of a kind.

"Send them to the bridal chamber!" The four brides were escorted by special attendants to the wedding suite. Originally, four rooms had been prepared, but Evan Chu insisted they all be sent to one room—only fair, and it avoided gossip.

With the ceremony complete, it was time for the banquet. Many envied Evan Chu for spending the night with four brides, enjoying a life few could imagine. Little did they know, dozens of black-clad figures were already racing toward Frostbane Sect from hundreds of miles away…
