Talon on the Run

1/18/2026

On the desolate lands of the God Realm, a single figure was racing forward at high speed.

Indeed, that figure was none other than Ian Song, heading out on a mission to the Primordial Forbidden Zone.

Suddenly.

He abruptly halted, having sensed the presence of a formation up ahead.

Inside the formation.

Five vicious-looking Mid-Rank Gods stood there. When they saw Ian Song suddenly stop, one late-stage Mid-Rank God couldn't help but curse, "Damn it, looks like this kid noticed the formation!"

"Third Boss, this guy's a God-Demon. Should we let him go?"

One of the Mid-Rank Gods suggested.

"What are you afraid of? He's just a One-Star God-Demon! Even if he dies, the God-Demon Corps won't care!"

The Third Boss scoffed.

"Not good, looks like that kid's about to run!"

Another Mid-Rank God exclaimed in alarm.

"Damn it, he really spotted us! What kind of crappy formation is this, so easy to see through. Attack! Don't let him get away!"

With a low shout, the Third Boss produced a massive war blade. The moment he stepped out of the formation, he charged forward, his blade transforming into a dazzling arc of light as he slashed fiercely at Ian Song.

"You know I'm a God-Demon and still dare to attack? You must be bandits. In that case, you can die!"

Ian narrowed his eyes, and the Crimson Haze Sword appeared in his hand.

A flash of sword-light shot out like lightning.

With a sharp sound, the Third Boss’s brow was pierced straight through. His massive body collapsed with a crash.

The other four Mid-Rank Gods who had just followed him out of the formation froze, then quickly retreated back inside. The Third Boss was late-stage Mid-Rank, while the four of them were one mid-stage and three early-stage Mid-Rank Gods.

If the opponent could kill the Third Boss in one strike, even if the four of them joined forces, they wouldn’t stand a chance. Retreating into the formation was their best option.
