Quentin Lin's little face puffed up like a custard bun as he dragged Lily Evans and rushed to his parents' room.

Dr. Rowan Lin was busy comforting Madam Wang, who was upset because Quentin Lin had let something slip. Seeing Quentin's anxious face as he pulled Lily Evans in, he quickly asked, "Quentin, what's wrong?"

Quentin Lin pulled Lily Evans to sit down and said to Dr. Rowan Lin, "Dad, my medical skills are still shallow. When I checked Lily's pulse, something felt off. You should check her."

Madam Wang was so nervous she forgot all her anger, staring anxiously at her daughter.

Madam Wang burst into laughter, overjoyed. "Lily, you’re going to be a mother, and I’m going to be a grandmother!"

Alexander Hayes’s heart was on a wild rollercoaster—now, knowing Lily Evans was healthy and pregnant, he was overwhelmed with emotion. He hugged Lily tightly, almost bursting into tears.
