Labyrinth of the Great Sun Star Lord

Only then did the First Human Emperor breathe a sigh of relief, earnestly admonishing, "That blade is extremely dangerous—a weapon forged from the head of an Emperor's Throne cultivator. You absolutely cannot control it. If you can avoid using it, don't touch it at all."

Lynn Ling was still trembling from fright, frantically patting herself down. Only when she found her head still attached did she finally relax.

Ben Coates also checked his own head, found it still in place, and let out a long sigh of relief.

"Too bad we didn't manage to decapitate Grand Venerable while we had the chance..."

Quinn carefully stowed away the casket, then crouched down to inspect the corpse of the Fire-Crow Godman on the floor. The godman’s head and body were cleanly severed, all his blood and vitality gone without a trace—not a single drop left behind. It seemed that the instant he was decapitated, every last bit of divine blood was sucked out, leaving behind only two halves of a dried husk.

"It really is a vicious artifact."

Quinn’s heart was pounding. "If you get hit by that blade, you’re dead for sure! The scariest part is, if the blade inside the casket misses its target, it’ll probably turn on its owner instead... But I have to admit, it’s incredibly effective—just like slicing vegetables, it killed a god in a flash."

The First Human Emperor frowned in confusion. "I never saw you practice my seal arts, so how is it you’ve mastered them so thoroughly—enough to even give advice to me, the creator of those arts?"

Quinn stood up, stretched lazily, and grinned, "I’m an Overlord Body. Of course I pick things up instantly."

The First Human Emperor’s expression dimmed, a melancholy aura radiating from him.

Quinn quickly explained, "I might not have practiced it directly, but I've run it through my mind a thousand times. First Ancestor, your seal art is solid, but you lack real battle formation experience. I could teach you how to charge through a formation and break it at top speed. I learned formation-breaking from my blind grandpa back home, and I've been through plenty of wars myself."

The First Human Emperor listened, his face falling. "You... teaching me..."

He looked like a wilted eggplant, utterly deflated.

Quinn said, "To break a formation, you have to be absolutely fearless. That Fire-Crow formation just now looked impressive—four thousand eight hundred Fire-Crow Godmen shifting positions, attacking from head to tail and tail to head. If you get caught in the middle, you’ll be dazzled and lose track of any single enemy. That’s when you treat them like numbers—just four thousand eight hundred digits, moving and rearranging. Pretty soon, you’ll spot the pattern in the formation."

The First Human Emperor perked up, replaying the scene in his mind. As he replaced each Fire-Crow Godman with a number, the mysteries of the Fire-Crow Formation unraveled before him.

Just like that, the Fire-Crow Formation’s patterns became clear!

"But the Fire-Crow Godmen shift their formation so quickly, and they seem to have a kind of telepathic link—any flaw vanishes in a blink. How do you break a formation like that?" The First Human Emperor asked, genuinely curious.

Quinn patiently prompted, "Which move did I teach you for breaking a formation?"

"Heaven and Earth Spin, Heart Unchanged!"

Suddenly enlightened, the First Human Emperor laughed. "Spin heaven and earth, scramble space, jumble the numbers—the formation falls apart. So that's the secret!"
