After steadying his mind, Evan Chu locked his divine sense onto the One-Horned Cat. This beast was a master of illusions, and with magma and fire everywhere, plus its own fiery-red body, losing track of it would make finding it again a real headache.
The Frostbane Divine Sword hovered behind the One-Horned Cat. At Evan Chu's command, he struck out with a palm, attacking the beast, while the Frostbane Divine Sword simultaneously lunged at its back, forming a pincer attack. Evan was confident that under such circumstances, the One-Horned Cat would have no escape.

Evan Chu started to panic. If the One-Horned Cat escaped, finding it again would be tough. The Golden Dragon King had said there were several One-Horned Cats down here, but after all this time, Evan had only seen this one, which made him anxious.
He quickly flew out of the magma and landed on the open ground at the base of the volcano. The Golden Dragon King and Jade were watching him closely, both with puzzled looks on their faces.

"The One-Horned Cat is a Primordial-era immortal beast. Its cultivation should be late Immortal Emperor or even higher. While its attack power isn't overwhelming, its soul strength and awareness are top-notch—it probably sensed your intent long ago," said the Golden Dragon King.
"So what now? If I'd known, I would've brought Tom Chu along. His mastery of illusions could definitely crack it. Should I return to Frostbane Imperial Palace and bring Tom Chu here?" Evan Chu suggested.
