Overwhelming Aura

Princess Mira pointed at Eugene Jr., exclaiming, "You—it's you?! I recognize your figure! You're the foreigner who tricked me out of my spices!"

Eugene Jr. smiled slightly and spread his hands in an innocent gesture. "Princess, what are you talking about? I don't understand."

Princess Mira stomped her foot in fury. "Don't pretend! I recognize you! You disguised yourself as a foreigner and spoke in a strange accent, but I know your voice! Lila, Lila, come here and see—isn't it him?"

Princess Mira dragged Lila over. Lila trembled in fear, staring at Eugene Jr. and sizing him up. The more she looked, the more he resembled that foreigner.

"Princess, I also think it's him!" Lila said.

"It really is you!" Princess Mira's face flushed with rage. "You scoundrel! You emptied out my family's fortune!"

Su Li chuckled, tilting her head at Princess Mira and playfully winked. "Even if we did trick you, do you have proof? What can you do to me? Can you prove my subordinate is that foreigner? What will you tell the Capital Constabulary, Princess Mira? That my subordinate is about the same height and sounds similar? They’ll think you’re crazy! Actually, everyone in the capital already thinks Princess Mira of Chu is a well-known fool."

"Su Li, you... you..." Princess Mira trembled with anger, pointing at Su Li as she shook all over. She gritted her teeth and glared at Su Li. "Was the haunted incident at Suxin Pavilion also your doing?!"

"Tsk, Princess Mira, you’re finally showing a bit of cleverness." Su Li admitted openly, spreading her hands. "Yes, the whole haunted affair was my arrangement. Even the monk you found was my person. Now your betrothal gifts and dowry are in my hands, and I bought your only valuable shop at a low price. Your fortune is gone—what can you do to me?"

"Why, Su Li, why are you so vicious, you wretch!" Princess Mira screamed, her eyes red as if she could devour someone.

"Tsk, you call me vicious? Princess Mira, you’ve known Alexander Hayes is my man, yet you shamelessly chased after him. You used your status as a royal princess to force your way into my home, and you openly challenged me, vowing to ruin my Eight Treasures Bistro. From the start, you and I have been sworn enemies." Su Li sneered, her lips curled in cold mockery. "You couldn’t steal my man, you failed to steal my business. If I were you, I’d find a pillar and bash my head against it. You’re a failure in everything—how do you even have the nerve to show your face here and shout at me?"

Princess Mira trembled, staring at Su Li for the first time as if facing a stranger—she had never seemed so terrifying.

Su Li, usually gentle and kind, shed her usual softness for the first time. She was like a sword drawn from its sheath—sharp, cold, and dangerous. Princess Mira felt a chill rise from deep within, a fear she couldn’t suppress.

Su Li stood up, smiling as she advanced step by step toward Princess Mira. Overwhelmed by Su Li’s aura, Princess Mira retreated in terror. "Don’t come any closer! What do you want?" she cried.

Su Li cornered Princess Mira against the wall, whispering in her ear, "Princess Mira, this is just a little appetizer—the main course hasn’t even been served. For what you and Charles Chu did to my mother, I’ll make sure you both pay—sooner or later."
