A Godlike Existence

Clearly, what was happening made them realize the situation was out of control—they had to call in someone from the higher-ups to decide what to do!

"Trying to run? You think you can still get away? Today, it doesn't matter who you are—if you dared to attack me, you die!" Ryan Ling didn't hesitate for a second. He shot forward like lightning and appeared right in front of that Da Luo Golden Immortal, grabbed the guy by the throat, and lifted him straight into the air. The scene was so wild it was hard to believe: a Golden Immortal was suppressing a Da Luo Golden Immortal so completely, the latter couldn't even fight back!

"Old Eight, aren't you going to help me?!" The Da Luo Golden Immortal being crushed instantly shouted. Only then did the other Da Luo react and hurriedly launch an attack on Ryan Ling!

But at this moment, Ryan Ling didn't even seem to care. Even when the guy attacked, Ryan barely moved—he just glanced over with his eyes, and that look alone was insanely powerful!

The Da Luo Golden Immortal who tried to help was instantly blasted away, his armor and clothes exploding off, left looking totally wrecked.

"Holy crap, am I seeing things? A Golden Immortal just KO'd two Da Luo Golden Immortals, and made it look easy! That's insane!" An old man in Demon-Dragon City, over a hundred years old, couldn't help but marvel. Clearly, he'd never seen anything like this in his whole life—his worldview was totally shattered!

Everyone around was stunned too—nobody knew what to say. Other than 'miracle,' there was basically no word for it!

......

Meanwhile, inside Count’s Manor, in a tightly sealed room, two factions were having a secret meeting.

Outside, some people rushed in to report.

"So? Old Eight and Old Nine should've finished the job by now, right?" One Da Luo Golden Immortal with a tuft of white beard spoke slowly. Clearly, with top experts sent to wipe out someone like Ryan Ling, he was sure nothing could possibly go wrong.

But before he could finish, the messenger rushed in, sweating nervously and blurting out, "Sir, it's a disaster! All twenty-five Golden Immortals sent were killed, and the two Da Luo Golden Immortals can't hold out any longer—you need to take people there now, or they're dead for sure!"

"What? No way! Old Eight and Old Nine, plus those twenty-five Golden Immortals, couldn't handle that little punk who broke into Count’s Manor? What's his background? I've seen his power before—he's just a measly Golden Immortal! How could he possibly defy the heavens?" The lead Da Luo Golden Immortal was clearly in disbelief.

But the messenger described the situation as extremely dire. The Eighteen Arhats—those eighteen Da Luo Golden Immortals—were all closely linked; if something happened to one, the others could sense it. Right now, the Da Luo Golden Immortals nearby could feel their brothers were in serious trouble.

"Big Brother, this is getting out of hand. Should we notify Count himself?" Another Da Luo Golden Immortal hurried forward. Clearly, it was beyond just their group to decide.

"No way, not now! Count is negotiating with the Northslay Gang on something huge—we absolutely can't disturb him. Besides, if they find out we can't even handle a little punk, the Northslay Gang will never work with us. We'd lose way more, so we have to settle this ourselves. Enough talk—move out, now! I refuse to believe all of us can't deal with one brat!" The lead Da Luo didn't hesitate, left a few underlings to guard the place, and immediately led a big squad out of Count’s Manor!

Outside Count’s Manor, the whole situation had flipped. Things were total chaos: Ryan Ling was literally riding two Da Luo Golden Immortals like cattle, and the scene had drawn the entire Demon-Dragon City. People were pouring in from all sides to watch!

The crowd was buzzing. Ryan Ling was now the absolute center of attention, and tons of families and people who'd been bullied by Count’s Manor were all getting restless. Everyone knew this was a once-in-a-lifetime chance—if they missed it, they'd regret it forever. There wouldn't be another shot at this, so Demon-Dragon City was in total uproar. Lots of Count’s Manor’s soldiers and guards were mysteriously vanishing, clearly joining the action.

But right at that critical moment, the lead Da Luo Golden Immortal from Count’s Manor finally arrived. Seeing the scene, he was shocked and shouted, "You little punk, let go of my brothers! Let go!"

No hesitation at all—the Da Luo Golden Immortal finished his words and charged at Ryan Ling with another Da Luo, clearly ready to go all out. Ryan's actions today had totally disgraced Count’s Manor, and these backbone elites weren't about to let him off.

The crowd was absolutely floored. A lot of people who’d been itching to stir up trouble froze in place—this lead Da Luo Golden Immortal was no joke. With him making a move, things could flip fast. He was seriously famous in Demon-Dragon City, probably top ten in strength. With a powerhouse like that stepping in, the outcome was anybody’s guess!

Suddenly, there was a thunderous crash—the lead Da Luo Golden Immortal unleashed a crazed palm strike, and Ryan Ling didn’t hesitate. He leapt up and met the blow head-on!

With a bang, the Da Luo Golden Immortal was sent staggering backward several steps.

"How is this possible?" The spectators were all stunned. Ryan Ling was still holding down two other Da Luo Golden Immortals with one hand, so he definitely wasn’t using his full strength!

Even so, the lead Da Luo Golden Immortal still couldn’t hold up. In that instant, everyone’s view of Ryan Ling changed—nobody dared underestimate him now. His power was obvious: he could definitely rank among Demon-Dragon City’s top ten, maybe even top five!

But think about it—Ryan Ling was supposed to just be a Golden Immortal. Even the strongest Golden Immortal would only barely crack the top hundred in Demon-Dragon City. Yet the power Ryan was showing now was way beyond what anyone could imagine. Nobody could tell how strong he really was!

"You're supposed to be Count’s Manor’s strongest Da Luo Golden Immortal, right? But to me, you’re trash. You can’t even save your brothers! Now I’ll make you watch them die!" Ryan Ling didn’t hesitate anymore. He used to always hold back, afraid to go all out, but now he felt his power was at its peak. If nothing went wrong, he was the strongest in Demon-Dragon City. He wasn’t scared of anyone, and didn’t care about so-called big shots.

"What did you say?" The lead Da Luo Golden Immortal was no ordinary person. Hearing that, he was about to explode—who in Demon-Dragon City dared disrespect him like this? That was just asking for death.

"Are you deaf? I won’t say it again!" Ryan Ling sneered. Then his right hand tightened—there was a sharp crack, and one Da Luo Golden Immortal’s neck was snapped. In the blink of an eye, his body started dissolving. The crowd sucked in a breath: Da Luo bodies were way tougher than ordinary Golden Immortals. Golden Immortals might be strong, but compared to real Da Luo, it was like scrap metal versus pure gold—no contest at all.

"This—how is this possible?!" The lead Da Luo Golden Immortal stared, wide-eyed at the scene...
