Liam Leshan Arrives

Ryan Lu said nothing.

He couldn't say anything.

The Divine Lords are brothers, and so are those under the Fifth Highness. What could he possibly say?

"Actually, I've already said what I needed to say," Sean replied at that moment.

Adrian Drake: "What did you say?"

"I hope she'll have the happiest, most fulfilling marriage in the world," Sean said. "No need for icy detachment—let her be with her loved ones often. Free, carefree, and joyful."

As he spoke, he suddenly looked at Ryan Lu: "I hope I can make that happen. I'm working on it."

Ryan Lu was so flustered by the sincerity in his eyes that he lost his composure: "You... Why are you saying this to me? If you want to say that, go tell her!"

For a split second, he almost wanted to become a woman...

Sean chuckled, sending out a flash of red light from his hand, plucking the peach fuzz one by one off that tiny peach.

The little peach trembled in fear.

"Why are you plucking the fuzz off my precious peach?" Ryan Lu shouted. "Don't kill it!"

Sean didn't stop; he kept plucking until he shaped the fuzz into a heart, then finally let go.

......

Vacation time always passes especially fast.

Soon enough, they left Peach Blossom Haven and returned to the Palace Guard Barracks.

His Majesty the Celestial Emperor said to them, "Before your break, I promised you a surprise. Are you looking forward to it?"

Everyone looked at him in silence.

"Don't be like that! I really do have a surprise for you," the Celestial Emperor said.

"What surprise, Your Majesty?" Someone finally couldn't hold back and asked.

"You can command troops now!" declared the Celestial Emperor.

Everyone froze for a moment, then the whole hall erupted in cheers.

After six long years of study—from tactics to strategy, formations to management—they’d been waiting for this day.

This really was a surprise for them.

His Majesty formed a special Three-Realms Joint Army just for their team.

Sean was appointed commander-in-chief, with Lucia Lu, Jumin Jing, and Ian Yan as deputy commanders. Each of the Three Divine Realms contributed one hundred thousand Divine soldiers—for a total of three hundred thousand troops at their command.

In addition, yaoguai troops led by Azure Flame and Baxa also became Sean’s right-hand men.

Even Lucia Lu's baby Moonlit Flood-Dragon was included, carried around by the great yaoguai warriors as a mascot every day. The little dragon was living its best life.

The officers of this Three-Realms Joint Army were all scions of major families from the Three Divine Realms, with the highest level of resources and support—truly a formidable and unique force.

But... someone asked, what exactly is this Joint Army for?

Ever since the Demon Sealing Well was closed two hundred thousand years ago, there have been few minor mortal skirmishes and even fewer major wars; the Three Divine Realms haven’t seen real battle in years. Now that His Majesty has sharpened his blade, who does he intend to strike?

At the court in Drake Abyss, when the gods asked, His Majesty just smiled and said he was simply keeping them busy—so the Divine clan’s heirs wouldn’t turn into spoiled brats. He told everyone not to worry, just relax...

But everyone felt he was just looking for something to do out of boredom...

Once the Three-Realms Joint Army was formed, Divine Lord Tanya Quinn led them into a new round of training.

Up until now, it was all theory on paper—now, it was time for the real thing...

......

That day, Liam Leshan arrived at Drake Abyss.

The Celestial Emperor and Divine Lord Tanya Quinn received him together.

The Celestial Emperor first asked him about talisman arts.

Liam Leshan demonstrated several newly developed talismans, which His Majesty greatly admired.

Then the Celestial Emperor said, "Actually, I invited you here because I'm very interested in your talismans, but I also have a few other matters I'd like to ask you about."

"Please go ahead, Your Majesty," Liam Leshan replied calmly.
