God-King God-King

"Smack!"

Rhea Redmoon slapped the back of Ian Song's head. "You brat! Asking for trouble—how dare you tease your own sister!"

"No way, I was just curious and asked offhand!"

Ian Song grinned.

Rhea Redmoon grew serious. "Succubi have countless forms. They can sense your deepest desires and shapeshift into whatever tempts you most. So for Silverwing, his biggest hidden desire is lust."

"What about you, sis?"

Ian asked again.

"Honestly, I don't even know what my greatest desire is. Maybe I'll only find out when I face the God-King Tribulation." Rhea Redmoon replied softly.

Time slowly passed.

The goddess formed by the succubus kept circling Silverwing, but he acted as if he didn't see or hear anything, floating in midair and letting the succubi tease and approach him.

Several hours passed.

After trying every trick they had and still failing to shake Silverwing, the succubi finally gave up and dispersed.

Three rounds of the ninefold God-King Tribulation were now complete.

As a result, Silverwing had undergone even more changes.

The next six rounds of the God-King Tribulation took over ten days for Silverwing to finish. The dangers were so intense that even Ian Song, just watching, felt his heart pounding. Several times, Silverwing nearly lost control or died to the tribulation, but each time his sheer willpower pulled him through.

"Boom!"

Silverwing's aura surged, and at the same time, a Law Dao condensed and took shape within him.

Gods cultivate divine power, Heavenly Gods cultivate laws, and God-Kings cultivate the Dao. There are forty-nine Daos in total. When someone first becomes a God-King, they usually specialize in one Dao. Only after stabilizing their Dao can they move on to cultivate others.

"Whoosh!"

A few days later, Silverwing—no, now truly Silverwing God-King—had fully formed his Dao within. Only then did he truly advance to the God-King realm. With a single step, he appeared right in front of Ian Song and the others.

After a brief catch-up, Silverwing God-King looked at Rhea Redmoon and said, "Tian Yao, I've survived the God-King Tribulation. With me guarding you, you can face your tribulation without worry!"

"Great, no time to waste—I'll start my tribulation now!"

Rhea Redmoon nodded.

"Wait!"

Ian Song called out, pulling out a bead and handing it to Rhea Redmoon. "This is a God Emperor artifact. I extorted it from that mysterious existence in the Primordial Forbidden Zone. It's sealed, but it should still help you. Maybe the lightning will even shatter the restrictions inside!"

Hearing this, both Silverwing and Rhea gave Ian Song a look of utter disbelief. Even now, Silverwing God-King wouldn't dare provoke that mysterious existence in the Primordial Forbidden Zone, yet Ian had managed to extort something from it—truly unbelievable.

Of course, what baffled them even more was how Ian had actually pulled off the extortion.

As for Rhea, she was certain that her earlier attempt to charm Ian Song had failed—the kid had never told her the truth. Remembering that scene, her cheeks reddened slightly.

"I already owe you so much, what's one more favor!"

In the next moment, Rhea Redmoon reached out and took the sealed God Emperor artifact.

For some reason, after Rhea Redmoon took the bead, Ian Song suddenly felt a weight lift from his heart. He instantly understood—the mysterious existence had probably tampered with both God Emperor artifacts.

So, he simply took out the other God Emperor artifact as well. "Sis, take this one too. Remember, just because they're God Emperor artifacts doesn't mean you should treat them gently. Use them hard—I bet that guy in the Primordial Forbidden Zone has tampered with both!"

"Alright! I'll do as you say!"

Silverwing watched from the side, secretly feeling pained. Those were God Emperor artifacts, after all—and only someone like Ian Song could say such things.

Sure enough, after giving away both artifacts, Ian Song felt even more relieved. Then he turned to Silverwing God-King: "Brother Jiang, I also have two God Emperor-grade techniques, extorted from that guy too. Want to take a look? I bet they're tampered with as well!"

"Even incomplete God Emperor-grade techniques are unbelievably precious. Are you really willing to let me see them?"

Silverwing God-King looked at Ian Song and asked.

Ian Song smiled. "Why not? Techniques are just dead things—people are alive. Besides, the stronger you get, the less likely you'll stand by if I run into trouble. Call it an early investment!"

"That's true!"

Silverwing God-King nodded. He wasn't bothered at all by Ian Song's bluntness—in fact, he found Ian refreshingly honest.

So, Ian Song simply tossed those two God Emperor-grade techniques to Silverwing God-King.

The moment Silverwing God-King got his hands on those two manuals, he was instantly absorbed in studying them. If Ian hadn’t warned him ahead of time that the Primordial Forbidden Zone had tampered with these techniques, he would’ve started cultivating them right away.

Still, even if he couldn’t practice them directly, he could use the manuals as reference to create his own God-King-level technique.

Meanwhile, Rhea Redmoon had already begun communicating with the God-King Tribulation. Overhead, thick tribulation clouds gathered once again, drawing the attention of countless onlookers across the God Realm.

But over at the Tian and Jiang clans, the atmosphere had grown extremely gloomy these days.

Everyone they’d sent to hunt down Silverwing God-King and Rhea Redmoon was wiped out—none survived.

To make matters worse, word had spread that one of the two had already passed the ninth round of the God-King Tribulation and become a true God-King.

Both families were old God-King lineages, each with two God-Kings holding down the fort.

If they hadn’t gone so far, these two becoming God-Kings would’ve massively boosted their clans’ power. But now, once they advanced, the Tian and Jiang clans would gain a new enemy instead.

As for sending God-Kings to intercept them—don’t even think about it. The Misty Forbidden Land is far too dangerous. Even God-Kings might not make it out alive. If they failed to kill those two and lost a God-King in the process, it’d be a disaster.

As for Ian Song—

Both clans hated him to their bones, but they didn’t dare touch his family lightly, since he might have one or even two God-Kings backing him.

After all, those two managed to survive their tribulations only because Ian helped eliminate their hidden threats.

But let’s leave the Tian and Jiang clans’ worries aside for now.

Over at the Misty Forbidden Land, the hundred-acre tribulation cloud overhead had reached its peak intensity.

Boom!

A thunderbolt as thick as a barrel struck down from the sky, smashing straight toward Rhea Redmoon.

Rhea didn’t hesitate—she tossed a bead directly at the lightning.

Crack!

The bead was struck, letting out a crisp snap, but the thunder’s power was greatly diminished. It didn’t even break through Rhea’s protective divine power, letting her pass the first bolt with ease.

With a wave of her hand, the bead returned to her, completely unharmed.

“Looks like this thing really works!”

But the moment that bead was struck by lightning, a mysterious existence deep within the Primordial Forbidden Zone let out a furious, low growl.
