The War God’s Ferocity

1/5/2026

Marcus Wu didn’t hesitate for a second—he shot forward like a bolt of lightning, moving so fast you’d need a slow-mo replay just to catch it. In the blink of an eye, he was right in the faces of those Heaven-Earth Sect experts!

“Oh? So you’re the War God Marcus Wu? I’ve heard the legends!” The burly dude clearly didn’t dare mess with Marcus—his reputation alone was enough. And as Marcus moved, the whole area’s qi shook like it was bowing down to him. That’s the kind of pressure only an Ancestor Immortal can throw around, and Marcus had just stepped into that tier. Total boss vibes.

"Kneel and apologize!" Marcus didn’t bother with small talk—he just shouted, totally savage, flexing his War God authority for all to see.

"What did you say? I’m only giving you face because you’re the War God, so don’t push it—or I won’t be polite!" The Heaven-Earth Sect expert tried to talk tough, but Marcus didn’t even blink. He just shouted again, not giving the guy a chance to finish his rant.

"Kneel and apologize! You barged in and started throwing punches—is that how Heaven-Earth Sect does things?"

"Marcus Wu, don’t think you’re all that. In my eyes, you’re nothing but trash!" The burly dude totally lost it, yelling at the top of his lungs. His Primordial Immortal power exploded, and all the muscleheads behind him unleashed their own qi too—these Heaven-Earth Sect guys were definitely elite, not just random cannon fodder.

But Marcus just smirked—these guys were nothing to him, basically trash-tier. The moment they made a move, Marcus raised a hand and shoved. The force was insane, like the air itself was about to glitch out. That wasn’t just Primordial Immortal power; it was next-level, totally overwhelming!

"Whoa, that’s nuts!" The burly guy instantly felt the difference—he threw everything he had at Marcus, but it wasn’t enough. His bones started cracking, his whole skeleton was coming apart. The scene was so brutal, even the peanut gallery would wince.

"Everyone, full power—block him!" The burly dude was officially panicking. Even Ryan Ling was shocked; Marcus Wu’s strength was way beyond what he’d expected. To catch up, Ryan figured he’d need at least a year of grinding!

And it wasn’t just raw power—Marcus had this wild, dominating aura that made you want to bow down. Straight-up boss energy.

"If you’d just knelt and apologized earlier, I might’ve let you off. But now? Too late—I gotta teach you what ‘War God’ really means!" Marcus unleashed another blast of violence. Outside the War God estate, explosions went off like fireworks, and all those Heaven-Earth Sect experts got launched. You could hear their bones snapping from a mile away!

Just a minute ago, these guys were acting all high and mighty, throwing punches as soon as they walked in. Now? Total wrecks—nobody even dared look Marcus Wu in the eye.

"I’ll spare you since you’re Heaven-Earth Sect, but you’d better crawl out of here—unless you want to wish you were dead!" Marcus finished, and those guys didn’t dare stick around. They literally crawled away!

"Brother Marcus, you’re amazing!" Lily couldn’t hold back her excitement and dashed over.

Ryan Ling was full of respect. No doubt about it—Marcus Wu was War City’s true War God. Even Heaven-Earth Sect couldn’t touch him here!

"Relax. As long as I’m here, nobody in War City can mess with you. Even Ancestor Immortals have to show me respect!" Marcus was feeling pretty smug—he was definitely not your average cultivator.

Ryan nodded. Heaven-Earth Sect probably wouldn’t try anything for now, but he knew they weren’t some random sect—they had serious power, and their upper ranks were packed with experts. Not just Ancestor Immortals, but Saint Immortals too. Right now, War City was safe, but who knew when Heaven-Earth Sect might come back for round two?

"Don’t worry. Heaven-Earth Sect crossed a huge line by snatching women in War City. No matter how many experts they send, I’ve got ways to handle them. Plus, I bet they don’t want this mess going public—they’ll back off rather than stir up more trouble!" Marcus replied, clearly reading Ryan’s mind.

"Yeah, that’s for the best!" Ryan nodded. Marcus’s analysis was spot-on—Heaven-Earth Sect’s reputation would take a massive hit if word got out about them abducting women. And with Marcus’s fame in War City and beyond, even Heaven-Earth Sect wouldn’t dare escalate things right now.

So yeah, they’d have to swallow this L and back off for now.

"Alright, I’ll spread the word—if any War City soldiers dare team up with Heaven-Earth Sect and go after our women again, I’ll personally twist their heads off. Trust me, nobody’s gonna try anything shady now!" Marcus declared. As soon as he finished, his hidden guards zipped out to carry out the order, keeping the estate safe and sound.

Things calmed down pretty quick. By the afternoon, Ryan heard that all Heaven-Earth Sect people had cleared out of War City. Finally, he could chill a bit!

Time to prep for the big War Tomb adventure! According to Marcus, there were insane treasures hidden inside—stuff that could totally boost Ryan’s cultivation. Plus, Ryan’s Hell King rep was basically OP in a graveyard. If you’re gonna grind, might as well do it in style!

"Everyone get ready—we head out tonight!" Ryan led the tomb-raiding squad Marcus had set up for him. He left Lily at the manor this time; Marcus was right, the War Tomb trip was gonna be super dangerous. Best to solo it, and Lily was smart enough not to argue.

Under the fading crescent moon, the squad set out for the War Tomb on the west side of War City. That place was basically the Hall of Fame for War City’s top dogs—Da Luo Golden Immortals, Primordial Immortals, Ancestor Immortals, all buried with their epic loot. The stronger the expert, the crazier their grave goods. Ryan wasn’t gonna loot everything—just what he thought he deserved.

"That’s the War Tomb up ahead—anyone else feel that creepy chill in the air?" The tomb-raider captain called out. He was a seasoned pro, but even he was shivering at the thought of going in.

"Don’t sweat it—I’ve got your backs!" Ryan didn’t hesitate. He unleashed his Hell King aura, which synced perfectly with the tomb’s chill. It could wipe out everyone’s living aura, making the whole squad way less likely to get targeted. Big brain move.
