Spiritual Prohibition

"Pfft!"

Titus Lou spat out a mouthful of blood, his eyes filled with utter shock as he stared at Landon Lu. Just one punch—only a single punch had shattered his Sky Dragon-class Power Armor and injured his internal organs. Just how strong was his opponent?

Sixth-Level War God?

Or Seventh-Level War God?

"Order your men to withdraw from here!"

Landon Lu looked at Titus Lou and spoke slowly.

"What do you want?" Titus Lou asked nervously. After having his Sky Dragon-class Power Armor shattered with a single punch, he had no confidence left.

"I said, have your men withdraw—or die!" Landon Lu's tone grew colder.

A look of humiliation flashed across Titus Lou's face, but he still forced himself to give the order: "Guard Regiment, everyone listen up—withdraw from here, now!"

The Guard Regiment soldiers who had been knocked down by Landon Lu earlier now found, almost miraculously, that they could stand up again. But none of them had the courage to attack Landon anymore—the guy was just too freakish.

Soon, all the Guard Regiment soldiers had left the jail.

"Gordon, you take Mayor Liang out too!" Landon Lu said to Gordon Gao.

"Yes, sir!" Gordon Gao nodded, then made a polite gesture to Mayor Liang.

Mayor Liang gave Landon Lu a complicated look, said nothing, and turned to walk out. This was no longer something he could get involved in.

"Landon Lu, right? Actually, we can talk this out!"

Jason Chen put on a faint smile, trying to act calm as he spoke.

Landon Lu looked at him, half-smiling. "Do you still have the qualifications to negotiate with me now?"

A flash of anger flickered in Jason Chen's eyes, but he forced down his frustration and said, "Better to resolve enmity than create it. How about this: you can name three conditions, and the three of us will do our best to satisfy you. How does that sound?"

Landon Lu chuckled, "I remember you just wanted me to kneel and beg for mercy, right? How about this: all three of you kneel and kowtow to me. If your kowtows satisfy me, maybe I won't kill you. How about that?"

"Landon Lu, don't go too far!" Jason Chen finally lost his temper and growled angrily.

"Landon Lu, who do you think you are? At worst, we'll go down together!" Tom Sun shouted loudly.

"Smack! Smack!"

With a flick of his hand, Landon Lu sent out two invisible slaps, and Jason Chen and Tom Sun were sent flying across the room.

"Am I going too far?"

Landon Lu stared coldly at the two as they struggled to their feet. "It was perfectly normal for you to demand that I kneel and beg for mercy, but you can't accept it when I ask you to kneel? As for going down together, you don't even have that qualification. At most, the fish dies, but the net stays intact!"

"Landon Lu, what exactly do you want?" Titus Lou spoke up again. "You need to understand, these three are from the Tian Clan, Sun family, and Jiang Clan. Even the Federation Empire's president wouldn't dare offend all three at once. No matter how strong you are, you're just one person. Can you really take on all three clans? If you let this go now, I can guarantee that none of the three will pursue responsibility. How about it?"

Hearing Titus Lou's words, Landon Lu looked at him with disdain. "Do you think I'm a three-year-old child? Do you even believe what you're saying?"

"Then what exactly do you want?" Titus Lou asked in a deep voice.

"Naturally, to eradicate the threat once and for all!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Landon Lu pointed a finger at Titus Lou's forehead, sending a Puppet Mastery Divine Art into his mind.

The higher Landon Lu's spiritual power, the stronger the Puppet Sigil becomes.

Now, with over three thousand spiritual power, enslaving Titus Lou with one Puppet Mastery Divine Art was more than enough. So, in just a moment, Titus Lou was already under control.

"Greetings, Master!"

Titus Lou knelt before Landon Lu, his expression reverent to the extreme.

Seeing this, Jason Chen, Tom Sun, and Jerry Jiang nearly popped their eyes out in shock, and their gazes toward Landon Lu were filled with indescribable awe.

"Now it's your turn!"

Landon Lu shifted his gaze to the three, then pointed three times, sending three Puppet Mastery Divine Arts into their minds.

Suddenly, Landon Lu frowned, sensing that each of their minds contained a cluster of spiritual power fighting against the Puppet Sigil. But this spiritual power wasn't very strong, and was quickly defeated.

With the resistance gone, the three were soon enslaved as well.

"Greetings, Master!"

A while later, the youth returned with a black-robed elder.

The black-robed elder was respectfully called Elder Wood by the Tian Clan members. Few knew his real name; he was a consecrated retainer of the Tian Clan and also a Five-Star Psychic Adept.

Elder Wood entered the courtyard, went into the house, bent down to pick up the jade pendant fragments and examined them. His expression darkened. "Jason Chen is likely in grave danger!"

"Master, what should we do?" one youth asked.

"Go report to the Tian Clan head," Elder Wood said with a wave of his hand.

"So you're saying, if I destroy that spiritual power in your minds, your clan's Psychic Adepts will sense it?" Ian asked.

Jason nodded.

Ian's brow furrowed immediately.

After thinking for a moment, he asked Titus Lou, "How strong are the three clans on this planet?"

Titus Lou replied, "Master, the chief military commander of this planet is Samuel Tian from the Tian Clan. He's the younger brother of the current Tian Clan head and holds a lot of sway. The Sun and Jiang families also have people in the government and military here, but neither is as strong as the Tian Clan!"

"Where's Samuel Tian now?" Ian narrowed his eyes.

"He should be at the military base in the Imperial Command District," Titus answered honestly.

On the Homeworld, inside a large estate in Jiangbei Province.

The estate was built with lavish luxury—pavilions, towers, artificial hills, and gardens everywhere.

Deep within the estate was a quiet little courtyard. More than ten War Saint-level experts guarded the outside, while inside were just two teenage boys, about sixteen or seventeen years old.

"Crack! Crack! Crack!"

Suddenly, a shattering sound came from the house. The two boys playing chess in the courtyard were startled and rushed inside, only to find the jade pendant hanging in the center of the room had shattered.

"Quick, check whose pendant that is!" one of the boys said.

"Found it! It's Jason Chen's!" the other boy said.

The boy's face changed. "This is bad. Jason Chen is a core Tian Clan heir. You stay here, I'll go report to Master!"

A while later, the boy returned with a black-robed elder.

The black-robed elder was respectfully called Elder Wood by the Tian Clan members. Few knew his real name; he was a consecrated retainer of the Tian Clan and also a Five-Star Psychic Adept.
