Undying Enforcer

"So you think only those with demonic aura count as devils? Well, I do have demonic aura, you just can't see it." The stranger smiled. Evan Yang couldn't be bothered to guess anymore and asked directly, "Just say it—who are you? Why are you looking for me?"

"They gave me the name Blood Demon Shade. As for why I'm here, of course it's because the Demon Venerables sent me." Blood Demon Shade laughed.

"Blood Demon Shade? That's a strange name. But what I don't get is, why is your strength not limited here?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

"Because I'm not human! To be precise, I'm not bound by spatial limits. My strength stays the same no matter where I am." Blood Demon Shade smiled.

"Not human?" Evan Yang looked the other up and down but couldn't see any difference from a normal person.

"Alright, enough staring. I'm just waiting to collect your corpse and report back to the Devil Realm." Blood Demon Shade laughed.

"You're strong, but that doesn't mean you can take me down," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"Oh? With your Immortal Lord strength, you think I can't take you? You're overestimating yourself. Take this!" Blood Demon Shade sneered, stretching out a hand toward Evan Yang and his group. As he squeezed the air, five giant finger marks appeared out of nowhere, ready to slam down on Evan Yang.

Evan Yang hadn't expected Blood Demon Shade to be so vicious right from the start. Each move was ruthless. Some of his clones didn't dodge in time and were instantly covered in wounds, pain surging through them.

As for Evan Yang's true body, it was fast enough to dodge, but to defeat this opponent, he'd have to transform—after all, the other's strength already surpassed peak Emperor.

Evan Yang's true body started to change color. Blood Demon Shade saw one of Evan's bodies transforming and looked shocked. "What the heck is that?"

"It's not some random trick—it's a way to deal with you." Evan Yang smiled, his whole body turning green except for his eyes, which became blood-red as he stared at Blood Demon Shade.

At this moment, Evan Yang looked less like a human, while Blood Demon Shade looked even more human. Not only that, Blood Demon Shade noticed Evan's aura had changed—at the very least, it was stronger now.

Meanwhile, all the clones on the field vanished. Evan Yang smiled and said, "Now it's my turn." With a flash, his true body appeared behind Blood Demon Shade and struck with a palm. Blood Demon Shade was startled by Evan's speed and quickly dodged, but Evan's aura still grazed his back, leaving a wound—and the blood that flowed was black.

"Your blood is black," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"That's right, because I'm made from fused blood." Blood Demon Shade laughed. As he spoke, his body also changed, turning into something like living blood, and his strength grew even greater.

"Didn't expect you could get stronger," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"I didn't expect you could do this either, and neither did the Demon Venerables. But luckily, when they sent me out, they made me even stronger—not just your average Blood Demon Shade." Blood Demon Shade laughed.

"Is that so? Then I want to see what's so different about you." Evan Yang said. With that, the two started fighting fiercely—both were evenly matched.

Their battle lasted several days and nights—truly terrifying. Evan Yang's strength fluctuated, sometimes strong, sometimes weak, as if his Heaven-Cold energy couldn't keep up. Blood Demon Shade was the same; both had limits. After so long, they learned each other's moves inside and out.

Until one day, Evan Yang smiled and said, "We've fought for five days and nights. It's time to settle this."

"I want to, but our strengths are evenly matched. I really didn't expect this." Blood Demon Shade laughed.

"You've seen my earth and fire, but you haven't seen one more. This one should affect things from the Devil Realm." Evan Yang smiled.

"So you really do have a lot of attributes. Well, let's see if you've got anything I should be afraid of." Blood Demon Shade said, not convinced.

Evan Yang smiled, spreading his hands toward Blood Demon Shade. Blood Demon Shade was already covered in demonic aura, and his body looked like it was made of blood—blood from Demon Venerables, not easy to destroy. But as Evan finished smiling, a powerful beam of light shot straight at Blood Demon Shade.

As soon as the light touched him, Blood Demon Shade let out a miserable scream, "Ah!"

The demonic aura slowly faded, and without it, Blood Demon Shade became much weaker. In the end, only his body remained, and under Evan Yang's light, it transformed—blood drained away, drop by drop, until all the blood was gone and a smooth body appeared before Evan Yang.

"Enough," Blood Demon Shade finally spoke.

Evan Yang withdrew the light and smiled. "What, admitting defeat?"

"That's right. I never thought you had this kind of power—it's terrifying. I surrender. From now on, you can be my master," Blood Demon Shade said.

"Master?" Evan Yang exclaimed, confused by what he meant.

"Yes, even though we're manufactured Blood Demon Shades, we're still a kind of lifeform from another world. We have our own dignity. Besides following orders, there's another rule—whoever first defeats us becomes our master, and we swear to serve them to the death." Blood Demon Shade explained.

Evan Yang hadn't expected Blood Demon Shade to have such a rule. While he was half skeptical, a drop of blood floated out from Blood Demon Shade and drifted toward Evan Yang. "Swallow it," Blood Demon Shade said.

Evan Yang wasn't afraid of poison or tricks, so he curiously swallowed the drop of blood. Afterward, all information about Blood Demon Shade flooded into him. It turned out he wasn't a native of this world, but a construct made by Demon Venerables using special methods and their own blood. The Demon Venerables never expected such a powerful Blood Demon Shade would be subdued by Evan Yang.

"Master, if you have any orders, just let me know," Blood Demon Shade said.

"I really didn't expect Blood Demon Shades to have rules like that. Well, you'll follow me from now on." Evan Yang thought that having such a powerful expert around was too good to waste—maybe he'd come in handy someday.

So Blood Demon Shade began to follow Evan Yang. Meanwhile, in the Devil Realm, several Demon Venerables were waiting for news. Suddenly, the disc they kept in front of them snapped in half, leaving them stunned.

"Impossible!" Demoncloud exclaimed.

"What happened?" one Demon Venerable asked curiously.

Another Demon Venerable explained, "Looks like that Blood Demon Shade is dead."

This was the fate-disc representing Blood Demon Shade. Once it shattered, it meant Blood Demon Shade had perished, and all their efforts were wasted. They never expected this, though they didn't think Evan Yang was responsible—they assumed he'd run into a powerhouse from the Immortal Realm.

With Blood Demon Shade dead, they planned to try other methods, maybe even make another—but creating a Blood Demon Shade wasn't easy. The previous one had cost them dearly. If they made another, it would only be a weaker, ordinary version. Still, they wanted to know what happened, so they decided to craft a weaker one.

Back in the Immortal Realm, Evan Yang was naturally pleased to have gained a new follower. He continued toward his destination, with Blood Demon Shade beside him, looking just like any other Immortal Realm cultivator.

Just as they were about to leave, someone appeared ahead—Quinn Lynn.

"You're right on time. How'd you find me so fast?" Evan Yang smiled.

"Damn it, you really do run fast. If it weren't for the Sacred Oracles and my space-jumping treasure, I'd have lost your trail." Quinn Lynn said angrily.

"What, you still want to fight me?" Evan Yang smiled.

"That's right. Let's see if you're still so lucky today and find someone to help you." Quinn Lynn was still angry about what happened days ago.

"You're not wrong. My friend is right behind me." Evan Yang smiled, and Blood Demon Shade came up from behind. Seeing the stranger, Quinn Lynn sized him up and snorted, "Another one? He's just here to die."

"Is that so? Let's see if he's really just here to die." Evan Yang knew that unless someone used special methods, Blood Demon Shade was basically undying. With his strength, Quinn Lynn definitely wasn't his match, so Evan Yang smiled.

Quinn Lynn snorted, not knowing the whole story. "So you get someone else to fight for you while you sneak off?"

"Did I say I'd run? I'm right here watching." Evan Yang smiled.

"Well, you'd better keep your word!" Quinn Lynn said.

"I, Evan Yang, always keep my word," Evan Yang smiled.

Quinn Lynn turned to Blood Demon Shade. "Kid, you're helping Evan Yang? Then I'll deal with you first."

"Oh? Is that so?" Blood Demon Shade laughed.

"Still laughing? Looks like you don't know my strength. Even Evan Yang wouldn't dare underestimate me. Let me show you." Quinn Lynn snorted.

Blood Demon Shade didn't understand why Evan Yang would be wary of Quinn Lynn. With Evan's strength, he could easily deal with her, but Evan didn't want to reveal his power, so he let Blood Demon Shade handle it.

Sure enough, as soon as Blood Demon Shade stepped up, Quinn Lynn felt frustrated—she'd met a tough opponent. Evan Yang laughed from the sidelines, "What, you think you can kill me with that strength?"

"Just wait. Once I deal with him, I'll deal with you." Quinn Lynn said angrily.

Evan Yang watched and mocked from the side, making Quinn Lynn furious and distracted from the fight. Soon, Evan noticed something odd—Quinn Lynn had ten spots on her body where her Immortal Essence was especially strong.

Curious, Evan Yang observed for a while and realized those ten spots were important. He instructed Blood Demon Shade to attack each one.

Quinn Lynn was shocked when Evan Yang caught on, so she guarded those ten spots. But Blood Demon Shade didn't care about pain or death, which frustrated Quinn Lynn even more.

Finally, one spot on her hand was hit, and a blood-red needle flew out. Evan Yang caught it, noticing it was saturated with Immortal Essence. At the same time, Quinn Lynn's strength weakened a bit.

Seeing this, Evan Yang told Blood Demon Shade to keep going.
