Heading for the Sea Regions

1/19/2026

Evan Chu’s sudden move caught Selena completely off guard. His warm lips landed directly on hers, and the sensation was like an electric current racing through her body, making her shiver uncontrollably.

Evan knew this was Selena’s first kiss—her true first kiss. Without hesitation, he pried open her pearly teeth with his tongue and began to savor her delicate little tongue...

A wave of suffocating sensation swept over her, leaving Selena weak all over. Suddenly, she snapped back to her senses and shoved Evan away, furious: “You’re despicable! How could you treat me like this?”

Evan pulled Selena into his arms again. She struggled with all her might, but he held her tight, refusing to let go.

“Xuan’er, don’t be angry. Let’s talk things through and solve this problem together, okay?” Evan whispered gently into Selena’s ear.

Selena stopped struggling and said, “Let go of me—I’m not used to this kind of feeling!”

Evan released Selena, letting her lean against his shoulder. “What are you really thinking right now? Can you tell me?”

Selena sat up, turned to look at Evan, and asked, “You’re okay? Were you just pretending to be unconscious to trick me?”

Even Selena was stunned by her own words. The fact that Evan could survive her palm strike was simply unbelievable.

“Xuan’er, I had no choice. Seeing you in pain tore at my heart like knives. I don’t know how to sweet-talk or coax you—I can only show you with my actions that I’ve always loved you!” Evan said softly.

“You really are a bad guy, bullying Xuan’er like this. Why did I have to meet you, why did I have to fall in love with you...” Selena choked out, her voice trembling.

Evan knew he couldn’t go any further with her right now. He hadn’t broken through to the Heaven Martial Realm yet, and if he really did anything with Selena, it would seriously affect his cultivation.

After standing up, Evan walked a few steps. The injuries from Selena’s palm strike had already healed, and only now did he realize just how terrifying the Fourth Layer of the Starforge Body’s defense really was.

Now, anyone below the Divine Martial Realm can hardly threaten him. If he manages to break through to the Fifth Layer of the Starforge Body, just thinking about it makes him shudder.

“Xuan’er, I’m trapped by fate too. I only learned about this identity recently, and you know how heavy my responsibilities are. I promise you—once I unseal the Frostbane Sword, I’ll reunite you with your father’s remnant soul. Whether you fight him then is up to you.” Evan looked at the distant sky, his voice helpless.

But to unseal it, I’ll need overwhelming strength. So you have to help me—whether you hate me or love me, I hope you’ll stay by my side. Whatever happens, we’ll face it together. I know you want your father’s soul to return as soon as possible.” Evan said, gazing into the distance.

Selena slowly recovered from her pain. She knew that if she wanted her father’s soul to come back, she had to help Evan get stronger and obtain the Heavenward Spirit Water and Sacred Snow Lotus.

“Linfeng, I don’t want to hear any more unnecessary words. I’ll do my best to help you, but whatever happens next, we’ll deal with it then. If you break your promise, I really will kill you—and then I’ll take my own life.” Selena said coldly, her tone suddenly distant, like she’d become a different person.

“Let’s go back. Let’s bury today’s pain deep in our hearts and slowly forget it. Some things are better left to happen naturally.” Evan said.

Goldwing the Golden Vulture was nowhere to be seen. Evan could either walk back alone or with Selena—naturally, he chose the latter.

After their intimate contact, Evan felt his restraint slip away. He walked right up to Selena, took her delicate jade hand in his own, and slipped his other arm around her waist in a blatantly intimate gesture.

Selena’s face instantly flushed. She glanced at Evan and said, “I really don’t know what to do with you!” Her tone was helpless.

Then she rose into the air, flying slowly—maybe she, too, was savoring the feeling of leaning against her lover as they soared through the sky together.

Strands of her fragrant hair wafted into Evan’s nose, making him hug Selena even tighter. The soft sensation under his hand stirred a powerful longing inside him.

Even flying slowly in the air was much faster than walking. Soon they were hovering above the Second Prince’s Manor. Evan let Selena go and said, “Get some rest. I know you’re heartbroken today—try not to think about it, okay?”

Selena nodded without a word. Just as she was about to leave, Evan suddenly pulled her into his arms and kissed her fiercely, leaving her nearly breathless.

His hands grew bolder, kneading her generous curves through her clothes, shaping them in different ways.

Evan’s sudden assault left Selena completely unprepared—she was like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered, unable to resist at all.

Evan’s hands grew even more daring, sliding down to her abdomen and caressing it over and over...

Just as Evan was about to go further, a stabbing pain shot through his mind, and Luna’s voice rang out: “Now’s not the time to absorb her Demonic Yin Qi! Why do you always have to mess around? Luckily your Pure Yang Qi didn’t erupt, or you’d regret it for life.”

Evan instantly snapped out of it, freezing his hand in place. Selena gazed at him, her breath soft as orchids. “You really are too much. Is this how you plan to win me over?”

Her face was as rosy as peach blossoms. If Evan had persisted a moment longer, she probably would have given herself to him without hesitation.

Evan laughed bitterly. “I don’t know what came over me—maybe you’re just too beautiful for me to control myself!”

Selena said nothing, just turned and left, leaving Evan standing there alone, savoring the strange, intoxicating warmth of the moment.

Back in his room, the Violet Thunder Fox—Alex—immediately asked, worried, “Big Bro, is she still mad?”

“Pretty much settled. I’m going to absorb Stellar Power tonight—we’re heading to the Sea Regions tomorrow. If you’re free, help keep watch for me!” Evan said.

Early the next morning, Luna Chu and Skylar Yule were already waiting outside, both dressed in travel gear and looking energetic.

Alex had transformed into a little violet fox and followed Evan out of the room. But Selena hadn’t shown up, which everyone found odd.

Evan went into Selena’s room, only to find a note: “Linfeng, something urgent came up. Don’t wait for me. Just head west after leaving the city—I’ll catch up with you!”

Evan knew Selena was using this as an excuse to create some distance and process her feelings. So he told the others, “Selena had something to take care of and left ahead. Let’s go.”

Goldwing appeared before them. The three of them and Alex climbed onto his back and flew west—a new journey had officially begun...
