The Most Aggrieved Emperor in History

12/2/2025

Su Li was first surprised when she heard this, then burst out laughing, clutching her stomach and rocking back and forth. "So now Leonard Li is surrounded by enemies on all sides! No wonder, after we made him lose his ability to have children, he still has to swallow his pride and come see us off, trying so hard to curry favor. Oh my, he's truly the most miserable emperor ever, like a living target. The people of Chu want to kick him off the throne so Zhao Mingtin's son can be emperor; and his own father is desperate to have a son so he can dethrone Leonard Li and give the throne to his youngest boy. Wow, he's really down on his luck—I've never seen an emperor this pitiful!"

Xiao Zetian nodded with a smile. "That's right. The reason I let him live and keep the throne is so he can be our scapegoat. With Leonard Li as the target, he takes all the open and hidden attacks from Chu and blocks the ambitions of the Prince of Huainan. Meanwhile, we can use this opportunity to quietly grow stronger."

Su Li completely agreed—Leonard Li was now a magnet for hatred, with Xiao Zetian directing all conflict toward him.

As for themselves, they took advantage of the situation to recuperate and develop, focusing on all kinds of progress and construction.

As for that unlucky Leonard Li, well, who told him to be so scheming? Let him play his little games!

Let him fight with Chu, with Gu Liangzhe, and with his own father, the Prince of Huainan. Let them turn the whole mess into a pot of porridge, while Su Li and Xiao Zetian sit back and relax, waiting to reap the rewards!

And Leonard Li? He was still desperately trying to curry favor with Xiao Zetian.

Xiao Zetian didn't even need to send troops or do anything. Just a hint that he wasn't supporting Leonard Li, and all those restless forces in Jin and Chu would be ready to tear Leonard Li apart.

So, on the surface, Leonard Li was the emperor of Jin, but behind the scenes, it was King Qin, Xiao Zetian, who truly held all the power!

Su Li was feeling absolutely refreshed now. She'd once been upset about being played by Leonard Li and his father, but not anymore.

But now, the tables had turned, and Leonard Li and his father had fallen right into Xiao Zetian's trap!

Su Li was absolutely delighted.

"Oh look, Simon Yu and Wu Hua are here! Quick, look!" Su Li glanced up and saw a familiar carriage approaching, with Simon Yu at the reins.

Simon Yu wore a constipated expression as he drove the carriage all the way to the dock.

Then, as if avoiding the plague, he quickly jumped off the carriage, grabbed his little bundle, and dashed onto the boat. He greeted Su Li and Xiao Zetian before darting into the cabin, as if something was chasing him. Su Li couldn't help but marvel, "Did you see that? It looks like there's a mark on Simon Yu's butt—is it just my imagination?"

Su Li asked Xiao Zetian.

Xiao Zetian pressed his lips together and smiled. "No, you weren't seeing things. I saw it too—there's a mark on Simon Yu's butt. Looks like a shoeprint..."

Su Li made a curious sound and turned to look. Wu Hua, dressed as a woman and carrying a bundle, boarded the boat. She was strikingly heroic as she greeted Su Li and Xiao Zetian.

"Alright, Wu Hua, I'm glad you made it safely. Your cabin is inside—there, on the second floor." Su Li pointed the way. "Go ahead and put down your luggage and rest for a bit. We'll be setting sail soon."

"Alright, Dean Su, I'll head to my room. Just call me if you need anything." Wu Hua was straightforward and unpretentious, striding into the cabin and heading to her room.

Su Li watched Wu Hua's back and smacked her lips. "Tell me, who do you think left that shoeprint on Simon Yu's butt?"

"Who else could it be?" Xiao Zetian could barely hold back his laughter. He knew Simon Yu's skills—he was a martial arts master. But even heroes have trouble when it comes to beautiful women!
