Using the Icefire Eye

1/19/2026

Light element particles are extremely harmful to divine sense—Evan Chu knows this all too well.

But ever since the Element Core Pearl appeared in his body, the light element was no longer a threat. Now, he could communicate with it quickly, though reaching true resonance would still take some time.

Evan secretly swore to himself that one day he would master this spatial domain skill—a technique that had tripped him up countless times. He sensed that his own spatial domain would be different from others'.

Since he had comprehended nine elements, his spatial domain might also be ninefold. Just imagine being trapped in a ninefold spatial domain—even a late-stage Immortal Emperor could be completely locked down by someone at the Immortal Lord level.

The pressure on Evan’s body kept mounting. Every time he endured this spatial pressure, it was like a form of training for his body—a rare chance to push his potential.

The muscles on his face twisted nonstop, and sweat the size of beans dripped down, but he didn’t utter a single sound. Meanwhile, his mind was focused entirely on communicating with the light element in the domain. Once he reached resonance, he’d give his opponent a blow they’d never forget.

The light monster was shocked to see Evan holding out so long inside its light domain. Even late-stage Immortal Emperors would have no chance here, but this guy was still hanging on—no wonder it was surprised.

It quickly conjured a ball of white energy in its hand—another elemental sphere formed from light element. It was ready to up the ante and finish Evan off faster.

Seeing the light-element sphere, Evan’s lips curled up slightly. He laughed to himself: ‘Just what I needed—if you didn’t help, I’d never reach resonance with the light element, and this pressure might really crush me half to death.’

The light-element sphere appeared before Evan in an instant, shining brilliantly. But this time, his eyes didn’t burn in agony. Inside him, the nine-colored Element Core Pearl spun rapidly as the light element surged into his body.

In just a few breaths, the sphere vanished completely. The white of the Element Core Pearl grew even brighter—Evan knew his light element had increased again.

This old monster had lived for tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands or millions of years. Its light element was incredibly pure—far higher grade than the light element Evan absorbed at first.

Now the monster was starting to lose its cool. The destructive power of light element was immense, but it never expected Evan to make it vanish so easily. It couldn’t help but feel weirded out.

'I don’t believe you can absorb the Light King’s element energy! These two spheres alone should be enough to burst you!' the light monster shouted, conjuring another, even larger light-element sphere in its hand.

The same thing happened again—Evan absorbed it completely without holding back. As soon as the light element particles reappeared inside him, he discovered their true nature and instantly achieved resonance. The crushing pressure vanished without a trace.

Seeing the sphere disappear again, the light monster decided to give up attacking. This kid was just too freaky—even absorbing light element itself! Clearly, not even the light domain could do anything to him. It instantly turned invisible and vanished from Evan’s sight.

Once the opponent disappeared, Evan’s divine sense immediately locked onto its location. It was slowly approaching him, but without the slightest spatial ripple—its control over light element was absolutely terrifying.

With a thought, Evan activated Icefire Eye to scan the opponent. Using Icefire Eye in scan mode barely consumed any Chaos Immortal Force, and the monster’s massive body appeared clearly in his vision.

The monster was sneaking closer, afraid of causing any disturbance, but it didn’t realize Evan had already noticed. When it was still more than twenty meters away, Evan frantically circulated Chaos Immortal Force in his body.

Then he unleashed Icefire Eye’s attack—two beams, one blue and one red, shot out from his eyes and struck the light monster. The sheer force blasted two bowl-sized holes straight through its massive body.

When Evan unleashed Icefire Eye, a primal aura burst forth from his body—an aura that felt distinctly draconic. As soon as he used the skill, a new message flashed through his mind.

Icefire Eye was one of the Primordial Dragon’s strongest world-dominating skills—capable of killing across a thousand miles, ranked in the top six of the Ten Primal Skills of the Primordial Era.

The message was short, but Evan understood clearly: if he transformed into his Golden Dragon form, Icefire Eye’s attack power would surge. After all, this was a Dragon Clan skill—one unique to the Primordial Dragon.

After Evan blasted two holes through the light monster, its whole body was sent flying backward. The wounds couldn’t heal—one was frozen solid, while the other kept expanding, burning fiercely with Heavenfire.

If it were anyone else, they’d be dead already. But the light monster was a being of elemental energy—it didn’t have a normal life bar. It still felt pain, but it wouldn’t die.

Evan finally witnessed Icefire Eye’s true power. To kill a late-stage Immortal Emperor, all he’d need was to target their chest—if the Immortal Infant was destroyed, no matter how strong they were, they’d be dead.

Evan loved nothing more than kicking someone when they were down. Right now, he could still manage one more Divine Cleave with his Chaos Immortal Force. It would hurt him badly, but if he could kill the monster and get the Light Spirit Pearl, it’d be worth any price.

Besides, he had to kill the light monster to break open the light space. So he poured Chaos Immortal Force into his arm, flashed forward, and unleashed Unicorn Arm and Divine Cleave together.

The whole space shook like never before—a colossal sword-qi, dozens of meters long, slashed straight at the stunned Light King. It couldn’t understand how Evan could see it while it was invisible, let alone attack it.

But when Evan unleashed Divine Cleave, the Light King was completely dumbfounded. It had never seen such overwhelming power—even it couldn’t pull off something like that. For the first time, it felt a sense of doom.

All it could do now was scramble to defend itself, but against such terrifying force, there was no way it could hold out…
