Arrival at the Destination

The Immortal Sovereigns around Evan Yang were startled, quickly saying their goodbyes and promising not to ask for his blood anymore. As they left, the Alliance Leader walked over and grinned, "I've really seen it all today. Kid, what have you been up to these past years?"

"Nothing much, just secluded cultivation—and a bit of luck," Evan Yang replied.

"That sounds like quite the opportunity—mind sharing?" The Alliance Leader asked, curious.

"I can't say without others' permission. Maybe someday," Evan said, thinking of Master Lora Luo's warning.

"Alright then, you can tell me someday," the Alliance Leader laughed.

"Thanks—if it weren't for you all these years, who knows what would've happened to the Yang Family," Evan Yang said.

"I was just afraid they'd try something to force open the Star Sea. Otherwise, there wasn't much to worry about," said the Alliance Leader.

Evan Yang glanced at the Star Sea. "How's everyone in the Yang Family now?"

"I've checked in several times—they're fine. Why not go see for yourself?" said the Alliance Leader.

Evan Yang nodded, walked to the Star Sea, took out his old Pass Token, and stepped inside. There he found the Yang Family patriarch, the Wine Beggar, and others.

The moment Evan Yang walked in, Ming Yang and the others lit up with joy.

"You're back?" Ming Yang exclaimed in surprise.

"Yeah," Evan Yang replied.

"How'd you get in? Aren't there a lot of people looking for you outside?" the Wine Beggar asked, curious.

"They're gone. It's fine now," Evan Yang said.

"So that's it? Then we can go out," Ming Yang said with a smile, leading everyone out of the Star Sea. But behind them, two people shot Evan Yang resentful looks—they were Yang Tian's parents.

Once outside, Ming Yang went up to the Alliance Leader and said gratefully, "Thank you, Alliance Leader, for driving them off." "Me? You misunderstand, Yang Patriarch," the Alliance Leader laughed.

"Wasn't it you who sent them away?" the Yang Patriarch asked, thinking only the Alliance Leader could do it.

Seeing the Yang Patriarch's puzzled look, the Alliance Leader explained. When everyone heard it was Evan Yang who drove off the Immortal Sovereigns—and even beat two of them in a row—they were more shocked than ever. Yang Tian's parents could hardly believe it.

"It was really you?" The Yang Patriarch asked, afraid he'd misheard, looking at Evan Yang in excitement.

"They were just afraid of hurting me, so I won," Evan Yang replied.

Evan Yang sounded casual, but everyone knew he really had the power to fight Immortal Sovereigns. The Yang Patriarch felt like he was dreaming—he could barely believe the Yang Family had produced such a genius.

"Amazing, truly amazing—Liam has such a great son," Ming Yang said, excited.

"Kid, you're seriously domineering," the Wine Beggar laughed.

"That's right—even I, your aunt, almost thought I'd misheard," Lydia Yang smiled.

"Just luck," Evan Yang said, smiling at the Wine Beggar and Lydia Yang, his family.

"No matter what, having someone like you is truly an honor for the Yang Family," Ming Yang smiled.

The Wine Beggar, Lydia Yang, and the others were overjoyed. But Evan Yang spoke up: "I have to leave soon. Be careful—if any Immortal Sovereigns try something sneaky, I can't predict it." "You're leaving already?" Ming Yang asked, surprised that Evan was leaving right after returning.

"Yeah, I have things to do," Evan Yang replied.

Hearing Evan Yang was leaving, Ming Yang, the Wine Beggar, and the others were disappointed. Everyone said goodbye, urging Evan Yang to return when he could. Evan then walked outside with the Alliance Leader.

"You're really leaving?" the Alliance Leader asked, walking beside Evan Yang.

"Yeah, I'm leaving. If I used to think Immortal Sovereigns were the peak, I was wrong. There's even greater power out there, so I have to get stronger—it's the only way to protect my family," Evan Yang said.

"That's right—I hope you get even stronger, especially before the big war between the Devil Realm and Immortal Realm kicks off," said the Alliance Leader.

"How long until the Immortal Realm and Devil Realm go to war?" Evan Yang asked.

"Not too long, not too short—a few thousand years," the Alliance Leader calculated.

"Got it. All my friends and family are in the Immortal Realm—I won't let it fall. I'm heading out now, see you around," Evan Yang said.

The Alliance Leader nodded and sent Evan Yang off. After Evan left, he felt a surge of motivation—if he kept working hard, someday he'd become an Immortal Sovereign too, and that would be his moment.

Word of Evan Yang's dual ice-and-fire powers spread across the Immortal Realm. Even Immortal Sovereigns couldn't match him, and the news reached all sorts of ears. Some dissatisfied Sovereigns wanted to challenge Evan Yang, others wanted to capture him for research, and a group led by Lynn Immortal Sovereign kept searching for his whereabouts.

"This kid really isn't simple—he survived!" Lynn Immortal Sovereign exclaimed, shocked that Evan Yang wasn't dead even after his consciousness was destroyed.

The other Immortal Sovereigns were stunned. They'd thought Evan Yang's consciousness was dead and had given up on finding Sovereign Frost, focusing on healing their bodies. But Lynn Immortal Sovereign's words fired them up again.

"Those Immortal Sovereigns are just trash—they don't represent us. If Evan Yang beat a Sovereign, it was only the weakest Void-level juniors. That doesn't mean much," said Sovereign Ruthless.

"So what do we do now?" Lynn Immortal Sovereign asked.

"Right now, finding Evan Yang's whereabouts is the most important thing. With our combined strength, dealing with him will be easy," said Sovereign Ruthless.

"We can't use the siege on the Yang Family again. The Alliance Leader can send Evan Yang into our awareness space—that's terrifying. We'll have to find another way, avoid the Alliance Leader, and make sure he doesn't know we're targeting Evan Yang," said Lynn Immortal Sovereign.

"Yeah, that's what I thought. So now we just need to find Evan Yang's whereabouts, then immediately gather our strength and deal with him—don't give him any chance to escape," said Sovereign Ruthless.

Lynn Immortal Sovereign nodded. Still, their injuries wouldn't heal quickly—even with all four combined, they might not beat Evan Yang.

But they wouldn't give up. Evan Yang's link to Sovereign Frost was too important—no matter what, they had to find him.

Meanwhile, Evan Yang had slipped from everyone's sight, flying through the void for ages before reaching the spot Mad Elder sent him to.

"This should be the place, right? But it's just empty void—nothing here," Evan Yang muttered, puzzled.

Seeing nothing, Evan Yang was genuinely curious why Mad Elder had sent him here.

"Guess I'll keep looking," Evan Yang muttered, shutting his eyes and using Thousand-Mile Echo and his divine sense to sweep the area.

At first, he found nothing. But soon, Evan Yang noticed a faint crack that opened every few breaths. It was hidden in the void, hard to spot, but after careful observation he realized it appeared at regular intervals.

"This must be it," Evan Yang muttered, then figured out a way to slip inside.

He timed it—the crack opened and closed fast, so he had to move at top speed. Evan Yang waited by the opening, and the moment it appeared, he dashed through.

On the other side was a canyon, shrouded in darkness like walking at night. Evan Yang, with his Night-Eye Technique, wasn't bothered, but he wondered what this place was—and who the mysterious woman might be.

"Great, now where am I supposed to find that woman?" Evan Yang muttered, looking around the vast space with no idea where to start.

Just as Evan Yang finished mumbling, a sinister shadow flickered around him several times before settling in one spot. "You've got guts, barging in here," a cold voice said.

"You don't know what this place is?" Evan Yang asked.

"I'm the one asking questions! You're getting bolder, huh? Don't think you can run wild here—get out!" the figure barked.

"Easy, man, no need to get worked up. I'm just here to find someone and don't even know what this place is. If you could, give me an intro," Evan Yang said.

"Introduce you? You're lucky I haven't attacked you yet. I'll count to three—if you don't leave, what happens next isn't up to me," the man said coldly.

Evan Yang shrugged helplessly. "Come on, man, is that really necessary?"

"Bad luck for you, I'm in a lousy mood today. Take this!" the man snorted, summoning a bow and firing blazing arrows at Evan Yang with lightning speed.

Evan Yang was knocked back, but a wall appeared in front of him—sizzling as the arrow struck. The man, seeing his attack fail, got even angrier and fired several more arrows, but still couldn't win. Finally, he charged in for a close fight, but Evan Yang quickly put him on the ground.

"Well? Want to keep going?" Evan Yang asked.

"You've got some skills, but that doesn't mean I've lost," the man said, stubborn.

"If you won't talk, I'll get serious," Evan Yang said.

Sizing up Evan Yang, the man realized he wasn't ordinary. After a moment, he said, "I can tell you what this place is, even show you around. I could even lead you—if you help me with something." "What do you need?" Evan Yang asked.

"Steal something," the man said.

"Steal what?" Evan Yang asked, curious.

"Steal a piece of Coldheart Wood. It's in Coldheart Gorge, but there are tons of experts there—even if I get it, I can't escape. But with you, I could pull it off. What do you say?" the man asked, sizing up Evan Yang's strength.
