Yina Yin happily dashed to the Bugatti and plopped down next to Ethan Yin, exclaiming, "Yay, Cherry Miller agreed to do the livestream!"

Ethan Yin scooted over and put his arm around Yina Yin. "Good job, Nora!"

"Bro, when I do something, you know it's solid!" Yina Yin grinned and unlocked her phone.

Sure enough, Cherry Miller spoiled Yina Yin and actually started the video livestream.

Cherry Miller walked up to Shawn Shi and said, "Come with me for a moment."

Shawn Shi saw Cherry Miller approaching and immediately noticed she was wearing the Saint Diana Academy uniform.

She really is a student here!

Anyone studying here is definitely a noble!

Shawn Shi eagerly followed Cherry Miller and got into the car.

Instead of taking Shawn Shi to the school, Cherry Miller drove to a mountain opposite Saint Diana Academy.

This mountain area is basically the backyard of Saint Diana Academy.

There are mountains, water, food, drinks, and fun.

That's why everyone likes to drive out here to relax.

After all, a lot of people aren't allowed into the campus.

Thinking of this, Shawn Shi became even more determined. He had to perform better, even better, and make sure Cherry Miller fell in love with him!

Cherry Miller took off her shoes, knelt at the table, and waited for the server.

Shawn Shi quickly copied her, kneeling at the table just like Cherry Miller.

Cherry Miller glanced at him but said nothing.

"You haven't eaten yet, right? The food here is pretty good," Cherry Miller said as she pulled out the car keys and got out. "My treat."

Shawn Shi quickly sized up the izakaya—it was clear everything here was super luxurious.

After the waitress left, Shawn Shi eagerly leaned in, trying to look sincere as he said to Cherry Miller, "Cherry, I'm really serious about you. Please give me a chance, okay?"

Cherry Miller calmly took a sip of water and replied slowly, "I remember telling you before, I refuse."

"Cherry, you're just too shy! I know you're still young, but it's fine, I don't mind. I'm willing to wait for you to grow up," Shawn Shi said, looking at Cherry Miller with an expression full of understanding and grand passion.

"Pfft..." Cherry Miller couldn't hold back—she really couldn't—and spat out a mouthful of water.

"Understood, please follow me. Don't worry, your food will be out soon," the waitress said with a warm smile, bowing to Cherry Miller and Shawn Shi.

Cherry Miller saw Shawn Shi's face covered in her sprayed water and quickly handed him a tissue. "Sorry, I didn't mean to."

Shawn Shi wiped his face and answered calmly, "No, it's my honor."

Cherry Miller was at a loss for words.

Just thinking about marrying a rich heiress made Shawn Shi inexplicably excited.

Shawn Shi couldn't help but reach out to grab Cherry Miller's delicate, slender hand.

Cherry Miller reacted quickly, pulling her hand back and saying, "Mr. Shi, please keep your hands to yourself. There are cameras here."

When Shawn Shi heard there was surveillance, he immediately retreated to his seat and kept talking: "Cherry, I know you actually like me. You're just too shy to say it. Of course, you're only eighteen, not old enough to get married yet, so you can't say it out loud."

Cherry Miller looked at him in surprise.

All he had to do was marry the heiress right in front of him!

And achieving all this was actually so simple.

"I really like you. From the moment I first met you, I realized I was in love. You're so kind, serious, and adorable..." Shawn Shi used every compliment he could think of, then continued, "I think living with you would be my greatest happiness. And I'll make you the happiest woman in the world. Now let me explain my family background and my job."

Cherry Miller didn't have time to stop him before he launched into a long speech: "My dad is the village party secretary, really impressive, manages hundreds of people in the village. Every year, my dad gets to meet and eat with the township chief. The chief thinks highly of my dad and says he'll promote him if he keeps working hard. My mom is a retired elementary school teacher from the town. She's amazing, and very kind—she'll definitely like you as her daughter-in-law. My mom is a bit strict, but it's only for our own good."

Cherry Miller:

"Because my mom was a teacher, she's definitely strict, but don't worry—as long as you're frugal and never waste money, have kids right after marriage (especially a boy), do all the housework, and hand over your salary card, my mom will absolutely love you." Shawn Shi kept going: "My job is a photographer, but not just photography—I sometimes do interviews and other stuff too."

Cherry Miller:

"I've been following a celebrity's daily life for a while now. Last time I saw you in Germany, I was there for that celebrity. Who knew she'd purposely switch flights a few times and totally confuse me? If I don't finish her report soon, my editor will dock my bonus. But don't worry, I still have plenty of money. Ever since I graduated college and started this job, my mom's been saving all my salary for me."

Cherry Miller: "Heh, paparazzi, huh."

"Yeah, but don't underestimate us paparazzi," Shawn Shi said righteously. "We still have our principles."

Cherry Miller nodded silently.

"Seems like your family's financial situation is pretty good. My mom said, if your side buys the house, my family can handle the appliances. Of course, we were in debt when I was in college, so we can't buy anything too fancy. But since we're hardly ever home, cheap domestic brands will do. Of course, if your family wants to add anything to the dowry, I won't object."

Cherry Miller:

"My mom also said she'd live with us in the future, so things will be much easier for you. She can help take care of the home and kids, and if we give her our salary cards, she'll manage our expenses well. You know, my mom suffered a lot growing up, so you can trust her with the money. And if your family is well-off, you can give a little extra each month too."

This guy's way of thinking is really weird, huh?

"Was that car you drove over yours?" Shawn Shi asked hopefully, looking at Cherry Miller.

Sakura Mi reacted quickly, pulling her hand back and saying, "Mr. Shi, please keep your hands to yourself. There are cameras here."

Shawn Shi quickly added, "If we get married, we'll need a new car. I can put in thirty thousand, and you cover the rest, okay? After all, once we're married, we're family—no need to be so particular! And since your family is rich, adding a Porsche to the dowry shouldn't be a problem, right? Chasing celebrities around all day is tough, so having a car would make things much easier."

Sakura Mi looked at him in surprise.

"And my dad loves drinking. Since your family is well-off, you probably get lots of gifts, right? If people give you alcohol, don't throw it away—just give it to my dad, it'll save us some money. We're family, so we shouldn't be so calculative, right?"

How on earth did he get the idea that I like him?

"My job is tough, so you'll have to handle the housework. That's a woman's job, after all. I'll work hard to make money and give you happiness," Shawn Shi said with a serious expression.

Shawn Shi looked at Cherry Miller in exaggerated surprise. "My mom already works hard managing the money—how could I let her do housework too? Isn't that the daughter-in-law's job?"

Sakura Mi:

"Because my mom was a teacher, she's definitely strict, but don't worry—as long as you're frugal and never waste money, have kids right after marriage (especially a boy), do all the housework, and hand over your salary card, my mom will absolutely love you." Han Shi looked at Sakura Mi in exaggerated surprise. "My mom already works hard managing the money—how could I let her do housework too? Isn't that the daughter-in-law's job?"
