Charles Yin made a decisive order: "Move them to the cruise ship quickly. Everyone else, hold your positions and wait until they're safely aboard before making any moves."
Cecilia Gu reached out and grabbed Charles Yin's arm, looking at him anxiously. "Please, don't let anything happen."
"Don't worry. Plenty of people want me dead, but none of them have succeeded yet!" Charles Yin bent down and kissed Cecilia Gu's forehead. "Protect the child, and protect yourself too!"
Rona Muir took Ethan Yin from Charles Yin's arms and, together with her own protectors, turned and left quickly.
Ethan Yin looked back and saw Charles Yin giving him an encouraging look, which made him straighten his little chest with pride.
He finally understood why his family always had him study all sorts of strange subjects, and why his and Miles Gu's upbringing was so different from other kids.
Because the responsibilities and mission he carries are different from other children!
Back in France, he had protected his mother.
Now, in the South Pacific, he could protect his mother again!
His teachers were all so impressive—he couldn't afford to let them down!
With the protection of the group, Cecilia Gu, Rona Muir, and the children quickly boarded the yacht and silently left the shore, heading straight for the cruise ship.
On the way, Cecilia Gu finally saw Miles Gu also catching up under the protection of the bodyguards, and only then did she breathe a sigh of relief.
Now, Charles Yin and Earl Field remained on the shore to cover their retreat. For some reason, Cecilia Gu's heart was in turmoil, unable to settle down.
As a husband and father, Charles Yin naturally couldn't leave first.
Earl Field was also a father and a gentleman, so of course he wouldn't leave early either.
A bodyguard on the ship quietly assured Cecilia Gu, "Please don't worry, Mrs. Yin. The cruise ship has already been thoroughly checked for safety hazards by enough bodyguards. You'll be perfectly safe on board. Unless the enemy brings in an aircraft carrier, there's no way they'll sink our ship."
Cecilia Gu felt a little more at ease after hearing this.
Cecilia Gu couldn't understand why her peaceful vacation had suddenly become a target for trouble.
Why were those people targeting her?
She wasn't even from the South Pacific and didn't know any of them—so how did she get dragged into this mess?
