Do You Need My Help

1/4/2026

Since Mona Mu had already said so, Molly Yun didn’t insist further. She left with Eric Jiang to find a hotel to stay.

But it was event season, and with so many outsiders pouring in, every hotel room was booked solid!

Forget five-star hotels—even all the four-star, three-star, and budget chains were packed to the brim.

Molly Yun tried several hotels in a row but couldn’t find a single room.

In the end, she even checked out family-run inns—still no luck!

Totally out of options, Molly Yun had no choice but to call Cecilia Gu for help.

In Summerville, the Yin Family owns a villa.

Cecilia Gu immediately told Eric Jiang and Molly Yun to just stay at the villa.

As soon as Eric Jiang and Molly Yun arrived at the villa entrance, someone came out to greet them.

“Mr. Jiang, Miss Yun, Mrs. Charles Yin has already given instructions. During the exhibition, you’re both welcome to stay here. Don’t worry about daily life—there will be staff to take care of everything,” the butler greeted them warmly at the door. “Mrs. Yin also said, if you need a car or anything else, just ask. We’ll do our best to assist.”

“Thank you,” Eric Jiang and Molly Yun said in unison.

When they got out of the car, Molly Yun was about to grab her suitcase, but Eric Jiang beat her to it and said, “Let me carry it up for you. The villa probably doesn’t have an elevator.”

Molly Yun looked a little stunned but quickly recovered. “Ah, okay, thanks.”

She was always polite and distant, just like that.

Eric Jiang gave her a long look, then said to the butler, “I’ll take it up myself. Miss Yun is a bit of a neat freak—she doesn’t like anyone touching her things except for Cici.”

The butler smiled awkwardly, then grew a little curious.

If she’s a neat freak, why does she let Eric Jiang…

Hmm, maybe their relationship is different?

Molly Yun shot Eric Jiang a glare and quickly apologized to the butler. “Sorry, that’s not what he meant. My suitcase has some really important bottles and jars, so I always carry it myself to keep it safe.”

The butler smiled right away. “Of course, I understand. Please, come in.”

Eric Jiang gave Molly Yun a long, meaningful look. He remembered a time with Nora Yun, when he'd made the same kind of joke—and she'd reacted exactly the same way...

Their gut reactions were almost identical.

Was there really no link between them?

Suddenly, a chilling thought flashed through Eric Jiang's mind: Had Nora Yun come back, borrowing someone else's body?

No, no, that's just crazy!

How could that even happen?

If someone in the Yun Family had died, how would I not know?

I must be obsessing too much—no wonder I'm imagining things!

Eric Jiang pushed down his shock and tried to act normal, following Molly Yun into the villa.

Both their rooms were upstairs, right across from each other.

After dropping the suitcase at Molly Yun's door, Eric Jiang said, "If you need anything, just holler. I'm right across the hall."

"Alright, thanks." Molly Yun nodded coolly, pushed her suitcase inside, and shut the door in one smooth motion.

Eric Jiang was left outside. He opened his mouth, then gave a bitter smile. "So cold... Well, in this, you're nothing like Nora Yun."

Molly Yun shut the door, leaned against it, and let out a deep breath of relief.

Have I been slipping up too much lately?

Is Eric Jiang starting to get suspicious too?

I'm just so tired.

Anyway, nobody would ever believe—or accept—something like this.

Let them suspect all they want.

All I need to do is look out for the people I'm supposed to protect.
