Two Demon Lords

Evan Yang snapped out of it and said, "That Demoncloud Demon Lord is terrifying. His illusion is still lingering in my mind."

Clara Snow replied, "That's normal. Me too. After all, Demon Lords are the pinnacle of the Devil Realm—just like Immortal Sovereigns in the Immortal Realm."

"I wonder what his expression will be when he sees that the Nine-Aspect Beast can't speak," Evan said with a laugh.

Clara Snow said worriedly, "A Demon Lord's strength and methods far surpass ordinary people. I'm afraid things won't go as smoothly when the time comes."

"It should be fine," Evan said. He knew his sealing art was unbreakable by anyone, but wasn't sure about the Demon Lord.

"Forget it. Let's lay low for now and wait until things calm down before moving on," Clara Snow said.

"So, what are your plans for the Eight-Facet Mirror?" Evan asked curiously.

Clara Snow replied, "I'll hand it over to a specialist—someone who can open the artifact and release the people trapped inside."

"Who could possibly have that ability?" Evan asked, intrigued.

"You'll find out eventually. It's not the right time to tell you yet. As for you, you've already helped me get the Eight-Facet Mirror, so I'll tell you how to enter the Demoncloud Zone now—but that place is dangerous. I hope you'll reconsider going in," Clara Snow said.

Evan Yang said, "I've already made up my mind. Thank you."

"Alright, I'll tell you. That place only opens once a month, for a quarter of an hour each time. That's our passage. Once you're inside, there's an area without the wire-net wards—you can get in through there," Clara Snow explained.

"That's the Demoncloud Zone, right?" Evan asked.

"Exactly. Although I don't know if, now that the Eight-Facet Mirror has been taken, the Demoncloud Legion will still appear there. So make sure you get out within that quarter-hour, or you'll miss your chance," Clara Snow said.

"Got it. Thanks again," Evan Yang said.

"There's still some time before the next monthly opening, so let's wait. We'll keep an eye on the news for a while. Right now, who knows if that Demon Lord is still around," Clara Snow said.

"He's probably thinking about how to force the Nine-Aspect Beast to speak," Evan said.

"Yeah, let's go out and pay attention to the latest news," Clara Snow said.

Evan Yang nodded, calmed himself, and followed Clara Snow to a crowded area to wait for any news from the Devil Realm.

Meanwhile, the Demoncloud Demon Lord was staring at the unmoving rabbit in front of him, frowning. "Nine-Aspect Beast, where's my artifact?"

The Nine-Aspect Beast remained completely motionless, infuriating the lofty Demoncloud Demon Lord. "If you won't speak, I'll destroy you!" he threatened.

Still, the rabbit said nothing. The Demoncloud Demon Lord grew angrier, flicked his finger, and sent an attack right in front of the rabbit. Yet the rabbit remained motionless. Seeing this, the Demoncloud Demon Lord waved his hand and dispersed the attack. If Evan Yang saw a Demon Lord wielding such power, he'd be even more shocked.

"Strange, why isn't it moving? Did it die? But it's clearly still alive," the Demoncloud Demon Lord muttered.

He watched for a while, realizing the rabbit seemed to be sealed—unable to move at all. "A seal?" the Demoncloud Demon Lord wondered aloud.

After checking several times, the Demoncloud Demon Lord thought for a moment. "Looks like I'll have to find him."

The Demoncloud Demon Lord sitting there vanished. After a short while, he arrived at a gorge shrouded in black miasma—like the most terrifying demonic qi zone in the Devil Realm.

"Old friend, I'm here. Come out," called the Demoncloud Demon Lord.

"Demoncloud, what brings you here?" Suddenly, a figure appeared, smiling at the Demoncloud Demon Lord.

"I need your help," the Demoncloud Demon Lord sighed.

"Oh? What is it? Just tell me," the man looked at the Demoncloud Demon Lord with curiosity.

"Help me take a look at this," the Demoncloud Demon Lord said, producing a rabbit.

Morak was puzzled as to why the Demoncloud Demon Lord was so interested in a rabbit. On closer inspection, he realized its true form was the Nine-Aspect Beast, gravely injured and seemingly bound by some restriction. He frowned, and after a careful look, his expression turned to shock. "How did this happen?"

"He stole my artifact. I caught him, but he ended up like this," sighed the Demoncloud Demon Lord.

"He stole your artifact? That's bold. But do you know what happened to him? Who actually caught him? It couldn't have been you—you don't have that ability," Morak said, looking at the Demoncloud Demon Lord.

"Morak, what do you mean by that?" the Demoncloud Demon Lord asked suspiciously.

"I mean, who handed it to you?" Morak asked.

"It was a man and a woman. Why?" the Demoncloud Demon Lord asked suspiciously.

"Excellent!" Morak exclaimed, as if he'd just received great news.

"What's going on?" the Demoncloud Demon Lord asked, confused.

"It's a kind of seal. You came to me because you want it undone. Although I'm familiar with seals and have broken many, this one's different. If I'm right, it's a long-lost taboo seal—no one has used it in ages. I've always wanted to study it, but could never find one. Now it seems I have a lead! Quick, take me to those two!" Morak said excitedly. "But they're gone. I thought they were the ones who caught him, so I took it from them and let them leave," said the Demoncloud Demon Lord.
