"Didn't you call me here?" Evan Yang said with a smile.

"That was months ago." Lynn Snowmoon remembered that she had indeed sent Evan Yang a message months earlier, hoping he could help her. But after thinking about the Hawke Clan, she stopped sending messages and planned to hide here to escape their intimidation.

"It's not too late to come now." Evan Yang smiled.

Just then, several powerful auras swept in. Besides that, the surrounding Burrowmice all glared fiercely at Evan Yang, as if they were saying something.

"Can you handle this?" Lynn Snowmoon knew well how dangerous these Burrowmice were. Sensing those powerful auras, she was shocked and asked urgently.

"You don't trust me?" Evan Yang smiled.

Lynn Snowmoon felt that Evan Yang's words were strangely enchanting, almost magical, making it impossible not to trust him. She nodded slightly.

Evan Yang smiled again. Then, three figures appeared from behind—the powerful auras from earlier had come from them. At this moment, they glared angrily at Evan Yang.

Unfortunately, Evan Yang couldn't understand what they were saying. He only saw them mumbling at him, then watched as one Burrowmouse stepped forward and attacked.

"Just early-stage Soul-Forming Realm." Evan Yang waved his hand, and the attacker was seriously injured, stumbling back several steps.

Evan Yang's attack power could reach three times its normal strength. With lower cultivation than Evan Yang, how could they resist his assault? The other two powerful Burrowmice saw the situation and teamed up to try to take him down, but Evan Yang forced them back.

Lynn Snowmoon was also shocked by Evan Yang's sudden burst of power. After years apart, his strength had grown so much it made her even more wary.

With the three strongest Burrowmice all injured, the rest didn't dare approach. Soon, the Burrowmice actually retreated.

"They just left like that?" Evan Yang couldn't understand their language, so he assumed they were afraid of him and fled.

"You're such a freak," Lynn Snowmoon said with a laugh.

"You dare to laugh? Aren't you afraid you'll cough up blood?" Evan Yang teased.

"Come on, I'm not that bad off yet," Lynn Snowmoon replied.

Evan Yang was just about to check her injuries when an even stronger aura swept in. "Let's go," he said. Realizing the newcomer had reached the Spirit-Wandering Realm and was clearly hostile, and with Lynn Snowmoon at his side, Evan Yang could only grab her and flee at once.

He boosted their speed, racing through the cave tunnels without any guidance from divine sense—just blindly charging ahead, as there were many underground paths.

"Is it strong?" Lynn Snowmoon asked Evan Yang.

"Yeah, Spirit-Wandering Realm," Evan Yang replied briefly, not daring to slow his pace. The opponent's aura was indeed stronger than his, but not by much. Evan Yang guessed the newcomer was only early-stage Spirit-Wandering. With Lynn Snowmoon at his side, he feared she might get caught up in the fight, so he kept fleeing instead of stopping.

The aura behind them stayed close, almost within reach—Evan Yang was so visible that if he paused for even a moment, he'd be caught.

"Where's the exit?" Evan Yang muttered helplessly. He was speechless at the Burrowmice—there were tunnels everywhere, all dug by them, and he had no idea why they'd made so many underground paths.

After running for most of the day, the Spirit-Wandering expert behind them still chased relentlessly. As Evan Yang was complaining, he spotted a black hole ahead—a new path, it seemed. With nowhere else to go, he stepped in.

The Spirit-Wandering expert behind them stopped, shouted in rage a few times, and didn't pursue Evan Yang any further.

After running for quite a while, Evan Yang noticed no one was following and said suspiciously, "That's strange, why aren't they coming?"

"No idea," Lynn Snowmoon replied, equally puzzled. She looked at Evan Yang with curiosity, wanting to know just how strong he really was. Even carrying her, he could escape from a Spirit-Wandering expert underground—what a terrifying feat.

Evan Yang had no idea what Lynn Snowmoon was thinking. He kept running for most of the day, finally stopping when he was sure no one was following. "Really not coming after us?"

He set Lynn Snowmoon down. "Looks like they're really not coming. We're safe now," Evan Yang said.

Lynn Snowmoon nodded. "Yeah."
