Berserk State Part One

1/11/2026

Riverdale, Stone Martial Arts Gym.

On this rather quiet street, few pedestrians passed by. Moments later, a taxi pulled up to the curb, and Andrew Han got out, heading toward the entrance of the gym.

Tap, tap.

He stopped at the entrance and dialed that unfamiliar number: "Tell the people watching my parents to get lost."

There was no sound on the other end of the line.

Andrew said indifferently, "Let me confirm their status right now, and I'll enter the gym."

After a moment of silence, a voice came through the phone: "Fine, call them now. As long as you cooperate, I understand the principle of not harming your family."

Click.

Andrew hung up the phone.

Immediately after, he dialed his mother's number.

His younger sister, Lucy, was playing carefree, running up to the phone and saying in a muffled voice, "Brother, where are you? Brother, Lucy is playing soccer!"

Her proud tone made Andrew Han's lips curl into a faint smile.

Mom, Lucy, I once swore that no one would ever hurt you. Even if the world condemns me, even if I commit violent acts, I would have no regrets.

Then.

He called his father, William Han, and chatted for a bit.

At this moment, Andrew Han had figured out Stone's plan: they had arranged for people to watch his closest family. If he noticed anything unusual, they'd use it to threaten him, possibly even planning a kidnapping.

Interesting.

You have no idea—when I lose my temper, even I fear myself.
