Seeing the lightning weaken, Evan Yang smiled in dissatisfaction. "What's wrong? Not going to continue?"
"You... you freak." At this moment, Patriarch Lynn had already used the Lynn Family's strongest techniques, but nothing could threaten Evan Yang. Now, he could only hope for outside help, so he quickly sent a voice transmission to Patriarch Fenn: "Quick, take me to the Immortal Realm Alliance."
"Why go to the Immortal Realm Alliance?" Patriarch Fenn asked curiously.
"To find an Immortal Sovereign," Patriarch Lynn replied.
Patriarch Fenn immediately understood—if an Immortal Sovereign intervened, there was no way Evan Yang could escape. He was overjoyed and hurriedly left with the jade pendant. Evan Yang was alarmed; if he let them get away this time, it would be much harder to wipe them out next time. He immediately started breaking through the formation.
Before Patriarch Lynn left, Steward Song had already been instructed to stop Evan Yang at all costs, so he had gathered many of the Lynn Family's top experts.
Once the formation was broken, Evan Yang saw that many of the Lynn Family's top experts had already gathered outside.
These Lynn Family experts were all formidable. Evan Yang didn't want to get entangled with them now—he just wanted to catch up to Patriarch Fenn as quickly as possible.
But it was harder than expected. These people didn't know how terrifying Evan Yang was, so they weren't afraid at all and swarmed to attack him. Facing so many at once, even Evan Yang couldn't hold them off, so he had to break out. But if he left, he'd lose track of them, so he had to capture Steward Song first.
Dealing with Steward Song was a real headache. Steward Song was an eighth-tier Emperor, and unless Evan Yang went all out, he could barely match him. But with so many others around, it would be even harder to handle.
Faced with this predicament, Evan Yang could only flash past. The crowd saw Evan Yang vanish—in fact, he had gone invisible.
Everyone was shocked, finding it unbelievable. Evan Yang's invisibility skill was so advanced that without Immortal Sovereign-level power, it was almost impossible to detect him.
Steward Song was startled—he hadn't expected Evan Yang to disappear so suddenly. Both shocked and angry, he quickly ordered, "Everyone, search everywhere. We must find where he went!"
After giving orders, Steward Song left—and naturally, Evan Yang locked onto him as his target.
Steward Song didn't expect Evan Yang to target him, thinking Evan was chasing after Patriarch Fenn and the others.
But just as Steward Song passed through an area, the surrounding mountains suddenly moved with a rumbling sound.
"Who? Who's playing tricks here?" Seeing the mountains move, Steward Song knew there was only one possibility—the opponent was cultivating earth attributes, and was strong. At least, he himself couldn't move a mountain like that.
Evan Yang said nothing, continuing to control the mountains while setting up formations around them. After all, facing an eighth-tier Emperor, if he didn't transform, he'd have to rely on these methods.
So in no time, the area was filled with formations, and the rocks and mountains were in chaos. Even Steward Song couldn't tell that some were real and some were just formations.
"Damn it! Whoever dares attack me, if I find out who you are, I'll wipe you out!" Steward Song raged and began destroying the moving mountains. But after several rounds, he realized some mountains were real, while others were fake.
At this point, Steward Song was completely trapped in one spot, fighting back and forth until he was nearly losing his mind. He shouted up at the sky, "Who is it? Who the hell are you?"
Evan Yang saw the timing was right. Steward Song was now paranoid and distracted, so Evan flashed behind him, sealed several key points with a series of crackling moves, and smiled, "It's me." "You!" Seeing it was Evan Yang, Steward Song was shocked and tried to retreat, but found his strength gone. Terrified, he asked, "What's happening?"
"Relax. As long as you cooperate, I won't kill innocents," Evan Yang said with a smile.
"What do you want?" Steward Song asked anxiously.
"Simple. Tell me where they went. Don't tell me you don't know." Evan Yang wanted to know where Patriarch Lynn was hiding.
"I don't know," Steward Song replied.
"Don't know? Then you'll know soon enough. Now you're stuck here, waiting for these mountains to move in and crush you, maybe even wipe out your soul." Evan Yang smiled.
Steward Song panicked. Thinking it wouldn't matter since they'd already left, he quickly said, "Alright, I'll talk, I'll talk."
Evan Yang stopped manipulating the surroundings and smiled, "Go ahead."
"They went to the Immortal Realm Alliance," Steward Song said.
"To the Immortal Realm Alliance? What for?" Evan Yang asked in surprise.
"To find the Lynn Family's Immortal Sovereign, of course," Steward Song replied.
Evan Yang was shocked. If an Immortal Sovereign came, no matter how strong he was, he couldn't match them. The only thing he could do now was leave quickly.
So Evan Yang told Steward Song to open the teleportation portal. Forced by circumstance, Steward Song had no choice but to lead Evan Yang out of the Lynn Family. After they left, Evan Yang smiled and said, "Thanks." Then he flashed away, leaving Steward Song feeling miserable—he, the dignified steward of a Heaven-Battling Clan, had been ordered around by an Immortal Lord. Worse, if Patriarch Lynn found out he'd helped Evan escape, the consequences would be endless.
Steward Song tried many ways to fix things, but couldn't. He had no choice but to return to the Lynn Family. No one else knew he was unable to use his strength now. If not for his usual prestige in the Lynn Family, he wouldn't dare stay here.
As for Patriarch Lynn and Patriarch Fenn, they had already arrived at the Immortal Realm Alliance. They didn't go to see the Alliance Leader, but sought out someone else.
But the Alliance Leader soon learned of their arrival. He muttered, "Strange, what is Patriarch Fenn doing here?"
Curious, the Alliance Leader extended his divine sense and saw Patriarch Fenn heading toward a mountain. The mountain was tall, and the Alliance Leader knew it was the cultivation site of another Immortal Sovereign—one from the Lynn Family. "Strange, why is Fenn looking for the Lynn Family's Immortal Sovereign?" Even more curious, the Alliance Leader flashed away.
Meanwhile, Patriarch Fenn arrived at the mountain and, halfway up, took out the jade pendant. Patriarch Lynn's soul emerged and shouted toward the mountain, "Ancestor, something's happened!"

Those five words instantly made the mountain tremble. Then a voice sounded: "What's going on?"
Patriarch Lynn miserably described the situation, shifting all the blame onto Evan Yang. He claimed Evan had framed Lynn Ziqiong in the Devil Realm, then came to confront him, and finally wiped him out.
The Immortal Sovereign, hearing this, clearly lost his temper. In a flash, a middle-aged man in gray appeared, eyes wide, a sword at his waist. He frowned and asked, "What's that person's name?"
"Evan Yang," Patriarch Lynn replied.
"Evan Yang?" The Immortal Sovereign felt the name was familiar. Just then, the Alliance Leader arrived. Seeing him, the Immortal Sovereign said, "The Alliance Leader is here too?"
"Yes. What's going on here?" the Alliance Leader asked.
The Immortal Sovereign repeated Patriarch Lynn's words to the Alliance Leader. After listening, the Alliance Leader's expression changed and he snorted coldly, "Patriarch Lynn, you really know how to make things up. Lynn Ziqiong and the others were clearly colluding with Demon Sovereigns in the Devil Realm!"
With his clan's Immortal Sovereign present, Patriarch Lynn stubbornly insisted, "That was all Evan Yang's doing!"
"What does that have to do with Evan Yang?" The Alliance Leader knew Patriarch Lynn was extremely prejudiced against Evan, especially after hearing Evan had wiped him out—it was hard to believe.
"Alliance Leader, you're just favoring him," Patriarch Lynn protested.
"How am I favoring him? Go ahead, tell me," the Alliance Leader said.
"You see his potential and favor him. No matter what he does, you assume he's right. He went to the Devil Realm and returned, but others treat him as a troublemaker. I refuse to accept this!" Now that Patriarch Lynn was just a soul, he had nothing left to fear and kept arguing.
The Alliance Leader hadn't expected Patriarch Lynn to fight back even at death's door. He didn't intend to act against Lynn, only smiled and said, "He does have great potential, but I'm just judging the facts. Everything he did in the Devil Realm was reported to me."
"Reported? If the person making the report is connected to Evan Yang, how can you trust that information? It's just one side. Our people haven't returned, so it doesn't count," Patriarch Lynn said.
"Oh? So you want them to come back and confront him face to face?" the Alliance Leader asked.
"That's right. Let our people return and confront him directly!" Patriarch Lynn said.
"Fine. But if it's confirmed they colluded with Demon Sovereigns, they'll have to be ready for punishment. Are you sure about this?" the Alliance Leader said.
Patriarch Lynn fell silent. He wasn't sure what the truth was, but all he wanted was to convict Evan Yang.
"What? Afraid to say now?" the Alliance Leader asked.
"Fine!" Patriarch Lynn knew he had no choice but to agree.
"Alright, I'll arrange for someone to find them," the Alliance Leader said.
"Now that that's settled, I still need to confront Evan Yang about destroying my physical body," Patriarch Lynn insisted, refusing to let go.
"Until the investigation is finished, we can't say who's right or wrong. You sought him out and got destroyed—how can you blame anyone else?" the Alliance Leader asked.
Patriarch Lynn was nearly spitting blood—he hadn't expected the Alliance Leader to stick so firmly to logic. Lynn had come here hoping to rely on his family connections and the fact that the Immortal Sovereign was his clan's ancestor.
So Patriarch Lynn looked to the Immortal Sovereign, who had long wanted to speak. He said, "Alliance Leader, this is really a family matter. Let me handle it."
"Immortal Sovereign Lynn, I know this is a family matter, but Evan Yang is a rare talent. I don't want a misunderstanding or wrongful execution to cost us a genius. You know how great the threat from the Devil Realm is. The recent catastrophe with the Demon Sovereign was all handled by him." The Alliance Leader explained Evan's importance, hoping Lynn would consider the safety of the Immortal Realm and not act on emotion.
Immortal Sovereign Lynn pondered, then said, "I understand. Until the matter is fully investigated, I won't let him die."
