After entering the Timewheel Bracelet, Evan Chu went straight to the cave where Elena Rainveil, the Rainbow Manor Mistress, lived. Inside were Monica (Meng Ji), Lynn (Ling Xiao), Selena, and Lena Zhong. The four women were surprised by Evan's sudden appearance, and when they saw his injuries, each of them showed panic and deep concern.
"Evan, what happened to you? How could you be hurt so badly? Are you really all right?" Elena Rainveil, the Rainbow Manor Mistress, was the first to ask.
Monica and Lynn had seen Evan injured before. He was always getting himself half-killed, only to be back to normal the next day. To them, his wounds were nothing out of the ordinary.
Lena Zhong's face, however, turned pale with fright. "Evan, was it that guy who hurt you like this? Let me out! I'll get my father to kill that bastard and avenge you!"
"No need. That guy is basically done for—he's ten deaths, one slim life. The one who really hurt me wasn't him, but someone else. Honestly, this time I got exactly what I wanted." Evan grinned, showing no sign of pain on his face.
"What on earth happened? Lena, you came in here and didn't tell us anything! We thought Evan let you in just to cultivate." Elena Rainveil, the Rainbow Manor Mistress, said.
At first, Elena Rainveil, the Rainbow Manor Mistress, wasn't used to calling Lena Zhong "Lena." Later, when she learned Lena was also one of Evan's women, she gradually accepted it. Still, she was stunned for quite a while—who would have thought the dignified mistress of Rainbow Manor, a late-stage God-Venerable, would be his woman? Most people in the God Realm would never believe it.
Because Evan hadn't revealed his true identity to Lena Zhong, facing the reality all of a sudden was hard for her to accept. The marriage tournament at Rainbow Manor had originally been won by Zoe Rainveil choosing Evan, but now her mother, Elena Rainveil, had become Evan's woman instead. The change was so huge Lena could barely wrap her head around it.
But after Monica told her Evan's true identity, Lena finally realized that the man she'd met by chance was actually so extraordinary—he was once the strongest powerhouse in the God Realm, Lord Frostbane.
Evan glanced at Lena Zhong and knew she must think he was injured by that mid-stage God-Venerable. He smiled and said, "The one who hurt me this time was the Valley Master of Lost Gods Valley. I may be badly wounded, but he's in even worse shape—maybe worse than me. I'm not someone you can mess with so easily."
"You said it was the Valley Master of Lost Gods Valley? How is that possible? You actually managed to escape from him and even seriously wound him? Evan, you're only at late-stage God-Emperor right now—are you sure you didn't mistake him for someone else?" Elena Rainveil, the Rainbow Manor Mistress, asked in shock.
"Mistake him? I wish I had, but unfortunately, there's no way. Late-stage God-Venerable experts are powerful? Well, I, Evan Chu, still beat him half to death. I bet his injuries are way worse than mine—and I'll recover faster, too," Evan said defiantly.
"I never imagined you could reach such strength—it's beyond belief. The Valley Master's Heaven-Phantom Thunder Cleave is ranked among the top three divine arts in the God Realm, and he's mastered it to perfection. For you to defeat him is a miracle. I suppose you both used Stellar Power in that fight?" Elena Rainveil, the Rainbow Manor Mistress, said.
"That's right. His Stellar Power was strong, but mine was even stronger—three Big Dipper stars' worth isn't a joke. Just using that much Stellar Power is why I'm suffering now, though it's getting better. And my Sevenfold Absolute Cleave isn't just for show! Otherwise, how could Lord Frostbane have become the number one powerhouse in the God Realm back then?" Evan grinned.
"I've heard Zoe Rainveil mention that you can draw on the Stellar Power of the Big Dipper, but I never expected you could borrow from so many stars. I also use the Big Dipper's Stellar Power, but I can only draw from one star. Compared to you, I'm miles behind," Elena Rainveil said.
"That's just a matter of luck and opportunity. Don't dwell on it—I've got bigger problems now. I'll deal with them once I've healed up!" Evan said.
Right now, Lena Zhong's heart was in turmoil. She'd never heard of anyone who could borrow the Stellar Power of three stars—especially from the Big Dipper, the most powerful stars in the God Realm. Evan was just too terrifying, too exceptional. If she'd known his true identity from the start, she never would've dared fall in love with him.
She could only treat him with the respect due to a father or elder, but fate had played a trick on her and brought them together against all odds. Maybe it really was destiny for her to end up with him.
After thinking it through, Lena Zhong asked, "Evan, what new trouble have you run into now?"
Monica and Lynn also looked at Evan Chu. This beloved man had given them so many surprises, and now that they'd finally come together, they truly hoped nothing else would go wrong. Every time Evan went anywhere, something big was bound to happen—but this was the God Realm, the place of the strongest.
"During my battle with the Valley Master of Lost Gods Valley, my attack was so powerful it tore open the void and created a spatial black hole. I got sucked in by accident," Evan said helplessly.
Elena Rainveil's expression changed instantly. "Evan, you said you entered a spatial black hole? Are you serious? You're not lying to me, are you?"
"Why would I lie? I entered the Timewheel Bracelet from inside the spatial black hole. Elena, is it really that hard to break out of a spatial black hole?" Evan asked.
He wasn't afraid of the spatial black hole itself, but he had urgent matters to attend to. Time inside the Timewheel Bracelet was long, but in the outside world, it passed in the blink of an eye—a thousand years could go by just like that.
And Roxanne Lin's Divine-Blood Parasite needed to be cured as well. If Evan couldn't escape within that thousand years, Elena would die, and Roxanne Lin could turn into a mindless killer. Her strength wasn't high, but if she started killing indiscriminately, she might be slain by others.
Both women were dear to his heart—he couldn't bear for anything to happen to either of them. That was why Evan was so anxious, hoping Elena could tell him how to break out of the spatial black hole.
"Evan, a so-called spatial black hole is actually a space formed by chaotic currents, filled with extremely powerful energy bodies. These energy bodies move at incredible speeds within the space, generating tremendous force. If you encounter them, it's extremely dangerous.
Even late-stage God-Venerables find it troublesome. They can only shield themselves with powerful energy barriers and slowly work their way out of the chaotic currents formed by the energy bodies.
To break out of a black hole space, you have to find the weakest point in the space. But the space is enormous, and finding that weak spot is incredibly difficult. Sometimes, it takes tens of thousands of years to find it; other times, you might get lucky and find it in a few hours. It all comes down to luck," Elena Rainveil explained.
