Beanie Is Acting Strange

Grace looked at him and asked, "Have you ever heard of a space that exists inside the body?"

Like, your spirit can enter it, and once you're inside, it's almost no different from being in your own body..."

"Yeah."

"Yeah? You've heard of that?" Grace asked in surprise.

"A Divine Artifact can contain space," Evan Xiao replied.

"A Divine Artifact..." Grace's eyes lit up. "So, that Sanctum Bracelet is actually a Divine Artifact?"

"Bracelet?" Evan Xiao raised an eyebrow.

Grace nodded. "A long time ago, I picked up a Sanctum Bracelet. When I put it on, it disappeared into my body, and then I had a space inside me."

"So that's how it is..."

"Why do you seem not the least bit surprised?" Grace looked at him suspiciously.

"Yeah."

"That Magic Vine? It's from that Midnight Seed. Somehow, it ended up in my pocket dimension, absorbed the spiritual energy inside, and sprouted roots and leaves..."

Grace told Evan the whole story about the sprouting Beanie.

Evan looked super interested and asked, "I really want to see what it looks like. Can you get it to show me the Magic Vine again?"

"Of course! Wait here, I'll go call it!" Grace entered her Sanctum and walked over to the Beanie tree.

As soon as she arrived, she realized something was off with Beanie.

All its leaves drooped down, and there were even tiny droplets of water.

"Beanie, what's wrong?" Grace asked. "You look super sad... are you crying?"

Beanie didn't move.

"Are you sick?" Grace asked.

Beanie lifted one leaf and shook it.

"Then what's wrong?"

Unfortunately, Beanie was just a plant and couldn't talk.

And after Grace asked, the droplets on its leaves became even more obvious.

"Sweet Beanie, don't cry, okay?" Grace reached out to catch the falling droplets. "If you cry like this, it makes me sad too..."

Beanie shook off the droplets from its leaves, swayed them, and pointed its Magic Vine toward the outside. It seemed to be saying it was fine and wanted Grace to leave for now.

Grace couldn't bring herself to mention Evan's request to see it, so she left.

Evan saw her frowning and asked, "What's wrong? You look upset."

"I don't know what's up with Beanie, but it seems really sad and down."

Evan paused and asked, "Did it grow a lot after absorbing the Spirit Tree's essence?"

"Yeah! How did you know?"

"I think I know why it's sad."

"You know? Why?"

And after Grace asked, the droplets on its leaves became even more obvious.
