A Drop of Blood

Even those revered as Venerable Saints within the Law Realm found it hard to remain calm when witnessing such an unbelievable scene with their own eyes.

Buzz. Buzz.

The portal on this side of the Central Light Tower shimmered with light.

At the very top of the portal, four intertwined black-and-white lines flashed—symbolizing that Andrew Han had already passed the fourth floor of the Central Light Tower!

The four lines continued to flicker, seemingly without end.

The Venerable Saints, restraining their killing intent and battle spirit, fell silent; no one complained or frowned any longer, for Andrew Han had proven everything through his actions.

At this moment—

Curtains of light formed as the Central Light Tower slowly rotated.

The Venerable Saints hovered in midair, seated cross-legged on the open ground, their gazes all unconsciously focused on the portal to the Central Light Tower… Some wore looks of astonishment, some had eyes flickering with thought, others’ brows and lips twitched; yet all remained calm and patient, quietly awaiting Andrew Han’s emergence from the tower.

Though the scene appeared strange and subtle, in truth it was suffused with an air of disbelief.

Venerable Saints possess extraordinary mental fortitude.

Having survived countless life-and-death trials, made agonizing choices, and endured the lonely grind of years spent on satellites, they are rarely moved or shaken—yet the reality before them was simply too overwhelming.

The fourth floor of the Central Light Tower!

It was not just reaching the fourth floor, but passing through it—Even if Andrew Han regrettably failed to reach the summit in the end, he might still uncover the true secrets hidden within the Central Light Tower.

……

"Andrew Han?"

Venerable Thundercrest’s eyes were filled with astonishment.

As a Venerable Saint of the Exquisite Heart Sect, he once descended upon the Taixing Mountains during the Peerless Prodigy Battle and fully unleashed his formidable power in the Atlantic Theater, earning his reputation as the foremost beneath the Supreme Saints.

Yet faced with this situation, Thundercrest felt a bit lost.

"This defies all logic."

"In terms of sheer martial strength, Andrew Han is slightly inferior to me. Passing the third floor is understandable, but the fourth? It makes no sense at all." Venerable Thundercrest shook his head repeatedly, utterly unable to comprehend.

The Central Light Tower rotated, radiating light across the diamond-crystal-paved plaza, illuminating Thundercrest’s bewildered face—and reflecting the mutual confusion among all the Venerable Saints.

Each floor was harder than the last—there was no question about it!

If the fourth floor were easier than the third, how could the Netherfiends have missed such an opportunity?

Moreover, observation showed that every Netherfiend who cleared the third floor and attempted the fourth had, without exception, unstable ghost-bodies afterwards.

So then—

This was Andrew Han’s first time entering the Central Light Tower, equipped only with Thundercrest’s account—yet he managed to clear the fourth floor directly?

"How is that possible?"

Among the Venerables, Grand Venerable Raine Su furrowed her brow in deep thought: "Thundercrest and I could only reach the final region of the third floor. But those sound waves severely affected our minds and consciousness—I still remember the stabbing pain in my forehead and the exhaustion that followed."

Their minds and consciousness nearly blacked out, which inevitably disrupted the flow of Inner Origin.

Originally, they could withstand the pressure… but once Inner Origin was thrown into chaos, their strength plummeted, making it impossible to maintain resistance—they would be instantly forced back by the overwhelming force.

Even forcibly activating the Clear-Illumination Law-Gate was useless!

This showed just how terrifying the final stretch of the third floor truly was. Neither Raine Su nor Thundercrest dared imagine what the fourth floor of the Central Light Tower must be like—how dreadful it must be.

"Cough, cough."

Thundercrest scratched his head, his nearly two-meter-tall figure standing upright in midair.

"Venerable Su, in my view, there's no need to keep analyzing how Andrew Han cleared the fourth floor, or how difficult it was… Right now, the most important thing is to guard against their attacks and wait for Andrew Han to emerge from the tower!"

"Unless something unexpected happens."

"Andrew Han will definitely witness the scene on the fifth floor of the Central Light Tower."

Thundercrest’s voice grew heavy.

The Central Light Tower has only five floors!
