The Vanished Damon Wang

"Hey, little one, what's up?"

Big Tank managed a grin, eyeing Jill Jing as she poked her head out the window.

He didn't even have the guts to sneak another look.

But now, seeing her, he couldn't help but feel a bit mushy inside.

It felt just like a dad seeing his cute kid.

Although...

Big Tank was still flying solo.

That dad instinct kicked in, and he felt like he was about to melt.

Honestly, Jill Jing was just way too adorable.

After Big Tank spoke, Jill Jing reached behind and whipped out a giant bottle of cola.

There was still one sip of cola left in the bottle.

She put on a bold face, twisted the cap open, and took a gulp, finishing the very last sip of cola.

Then she made a big show of tilting the bottle, shaking it a few times.

Not a single drop came out.

"It's gone."

Jill Jing spoke again, her voice crisp as ever, eyes looking up at Big Tank, blinking expectantly.

"Mm... there's no more."

Big Tank hadn't even processed it yet, a bit stunned.

Why did this feel like someone at a banquet downing their drink, then tipping the glass to show they've finished?

"I want more."

Jill Jing spoke up again.

Big Tank finally snapped out of it: "Oh, oh, got it, just a sec!"

He was instantly energized; after answering, he didn't hesitate for a second and quickly ran to the little shop nearby.

The snowy road was slippery.

But Big Tank ran so fast it was almost flying.

It didn't take long at all.

He came back hugging a whole crate of cola.

Jill Jing saw the crate of cola, her eyes lit up, face full of excitement.

"Here, all for you."

Big Tank handed the whole crate of cola straight to Jill Jing.
