Cici's Memory Recovery

1/4/2026

As soon as Charles Yin picked up the phone, he heard Earl Field’s gritted voice: “Mr. Yin, you’re fast! I just found the flower fields, and you’d already left!”

Charles Yin was in such a good mood he could barely contain it!

When Cici said someone called her and told her to go downstairs early, he immediately guessed someone was following them.

So, Charles Yin used a diversion tactic and tricked Earl Field into going to Furano.

By the time Earl Field realized what was happening, Charles had already brought Cici back to Osaka.

So Earl Field was played for a fool by Charles Yin, running in circles and never even catching a glimpse of Cici.

For those men eyeing his wife, Charles Yin thought he was already being generous by not tossing them into the Atlantic!

“Just enjoy the scenery in Hokkaido, Earl Field. If you like it so much, why not stay a few more days?” Charles Yin replied lazily, “The tea competition is over, so what, Your Lordship, still want to follow us around?”

Earl Field was still grinding his teeth: “Where are you now?”

Charles Yin curled his lips and glanced up at a landmark building, answering softly, “Inagawa-kai.”

On the other end, Earl Field suddenly fell silent, then after a moment asked, “What are you planning?”

“Didn’t you already know? Why ask again?” Charles Yin raised his eyebrows, his eyes flashing with charm that made passersby gasp.

Everyone was curious about this man speaking perfect London-accented English—who was he, really?

On the other side, Earl Field’s eyes narrowed, his red pupils contracting instantly: “Are you sure you want to try? What if you fail? If you do, she might not remember anything.”

“Whether she remembers or not, Miles Gu will always be my son.” Charles Yin turned to look at Cici, who was happily buying new anime figurines, his eyes soft: “Earl Field, maybe you should stay out of this.”

“I’m already here—how could I miss all the fun? Besides, there are people who don’t want you to get the antidote so easily, Mr. Yin.” Earl Field’s red eyes flashed. “Give me the address. Sometimes, a count like me can be useful.”

Charles Yin just chuckled. “Alright, since Your Lordship won’t give up, I’ll let you see for yourself. I’ll leave the task of picking up the medicine to you!”

After hanging up, A asked in confusion, “Boss, you know Earl Field is close to Miss Clarence—why let him fetch the medicine?”

“It’s precisely because he’s fetching the medicine that Clarence won’t dare lie.” Charles Yin’s lips curled coldly. “Do you really think Clarence would let me get the antidote so easily? She’s only the honorary advisor of Inagawa-kai, but she’s also the chairman’s adopted daughter and directly controls the supply of raw materials for the research lab. I was planning to get it myself, but with Earl Field involved, he’s actually a better fit. After all, his family’s syndicate is closely tied to Inagawa-kai.”

A didn’t dare say anything else and quietly stepped aside.
