The hotel hall was a mess, with paramedics arriving quickly and taking Lance Le away.
Evan Lin and Queenie Tong sat quietly eating, and within a five-meter radius, no one dared to come near.
Rena Luo hesitated for a moment, but eventually walked forward.
She sized up Evan from head to toe, as if trying to spot something unusual about him. But no matter how hard she looked, Evan remained utterly calm and unruffled.
"What did you just do to Lance Le?"
Rena Luo spoke in a low voice, her eyes full of suspicion, clearly wanting answers.
Evan picked up a piece of dessert from the table, popped it into his mouth, and replied coolly, "None of your damn business."
The moment he said those words, Rena Luo clenched her fists hard.
Queenie Tong wanted to smooth things over, but after glancing at Evan and then at Rena Luo, she finally kept quiet, not daring to say more.
"If you really ruined Lance Le's ability to have kids, his dad will never let you off. You'd better watch yourself!" Rena Luo sneered, looking at Evan with clear disgust in her eyes.
She'd originally wanted to use Lance Le to put Evan in his place, but now she'd only made him even more arrogant.
That made Rena Luo even more annoyed. Seeing Evan's domineering, arrogant attitude, she wished she could slap him right then and there.
But reason told Rena Luo she needed to hold back.
"One comes, I beat one. Two come, I beat both. That's all there is to it."
Evan picked up a napkin, wiped his mouth, looked at Rena Luo, and let out a mocking laugh. "Just a second ago you were apologizing to me, and now you flip so fast it's like turning a page. Impressive."
Rena Luo's face turned from pale to green at those words.
All eyes in the hall turned toward them, and many felt there was a deeper meaning in Evan's words.
Even if they didn't approve of what Evan had just done, at this moment, many people started looking at Rena Luo differently.
Nobody likes a two-faced person, even if she's a pretty woman.
"You!"
