Assault on Qi Trading House

12/19/2025

Whether it was Veil Continent or Aurora Continent, more and more people kept arriving.

But now, with no more spirit veins and no more fighting over spirit stones, and as word spread, everyone came to understand what Joe Di was doing.

Some cultivators left, but even more chose to stay.

Several days later, tremors rippled beneath everyone's feet, followed by a dull cracking sound.

Joe Di finally breathed a sigh of relief. The two continents had at last merged. Though his role in the process was but a small one, he still felt deeply satisfied.

With Nightfall Starland now whole again, Joe Di sensed something new deep within. His cultivation was still low, and he could not yet comprehend the meaning of this feeling.

When he tried to retrieve the two defensive array disks, Joe Di discovered that they dissolved on their own, transforming into two magical treasures that merged into the earth.

Joe Di guessed that this was likely a restoration mark left by his master, so he left it untouched.

"Thank you, senior, for restoring Nightfall Starland." Not everyone was unaware of what had happened. Now that Veil Continent and Nightfall Starland had truly become one, everyone realized that this was only beneficial for all.

Once one person spoke up, many more clasped their fists and thanked Joe Di.

Originally, he only planned to uproot Qi Trading House, but now he decided to annihilate the entire Qi Family. Such a vile clan had no place on Aurora Continent. The blood flowing in his veins was Di Family blood—the blood of a general. Even with memories from his previous life and all his experiences, though he had changed greatly, that innate martial spirit from his lineage could not be erased.

"Qi Trading House is finished." Seeing Joe Di's disappearing figure, someone chuckled.

Ruinsgate City.

Fewer cultivators were frantically rushing out. News had spread: after Aurora Continent and Veil Continent were merged at the Polar Night Ruins, no major battles occurred. Someone was repairing the two continents, and now Veil Continent and Aurora Continent were one.

The merger of Veil Continent and Aurora Continent, and the restoration of Nightfall Starland, shocked all the major sects and families.

Ruinsgate City's Qi Trading House received the news as well, and immediately sent word out. The restoration of Nightfall Starland meant countless business opportunities. Previously, Qi Trading House was large, but only operated in Aurora Continent. Now, with Veil Continent and Aurora Continent merged, Qi Trading House would surely open a branch in Veil Continent.

Joe Di now stood before Qi Trading House in Ruinsgate City. Its scale and grandeur were no less than the Qi Trading House he destroyed in Northridge City.

The only difference was that there were fewer cultivator residences here.

Joe Di raised his hand and drew out the Azure Veil Blade, slashing down with a single stroke.

Crack! The Azure Radiance of the blade tore through the air, shredding Qi Trading House's level five defense array as if it were paper, collapsing it in a single strike.

"Who dares touch the defense array of my Qi Trading House?" an angry voice shouted, as more than ten figures rushed out from deep within the Qi Trading House.

Joe Di spoke coldly, "All cultivators who do not belong to Qi Trading House must leave within ten breaths, or be killed without mercy."

"It's Joe Di! The one who destroyed several Qi Trading House branches." Someone in the distance recognized Joe Di and shouted.

News of Joe Di restoring Nightfall Starland hadn't spread yet. Now, hearing that Joe Di was going to destroy Qi Trading House in Ruinsgate City, crowds of cultivators swarmed over, eager to watch the excitement or pick up bargains. Most just wanted to see what kind of person dared to challenge Qi Trading House.

"Heh, this guy really doesn't know the meaning of death. He actually came to rob Qi Trading House in Ruinsgate City." A cultivator browsing treasures in Qi Trading House shook his head at Joe Di's warning, having no intention of leaving.

Others might not know Qi Trading House in Ruinsgate City, but he knew it well. A ninth-level Soul Core cultivator had just arrived a few days ago, joining the existing fourth-level and second-level Soul Core cultivators. Now, Qi Trading House had three Soul Core experts. Was Joe Di bold, or just foolishly fearless?

Several cultivators who wanted to leave stopped at his words, asking in confusion, "Brother Pan, why do you say that? I heard Qi Trading House's Northern Headquarters was rebuilt because of that Joe Di."

After all, they were inside Qi Trading House, so their words were somewhat veiled.

Before Pan could reply, a clerk sneered, "The reason Qi Trading House in Northridge City was ambushed was because a late-stage Soul Core cultivator secretly helped. And our strongest experts weren't around then—the highest cultivation in Northridge City was just Golden Core eighth level. We've been looking for this kid, and now he comes to die on his own. Watch how that Di brat meets his end."

Hearing these words, except for a few cultivators who left the trading house, most did not move.

Joe Di didn't care whether the cultivators moved or not. When the ten breaths were up, his Azure Veil Blade transformed into an Azure Radiance and slashed straight at the leading ninth-level Soul Core cultivator.

So what if he was ninth-level Soul Core? Now, even though Joe Di was only fourth-level Soul Core, his strength was several times greater than when he was in the Skyveil.

He attacked with the Windhowl Blade, sending out a wild and unstoppable blade aura that swept through the dozen cultivators charging at him, exploding into countless vortexes of blade energy.

Blood mist erupted everywhere, and the Golden Core cultivators had no power to resist such blade intent. Even the second-level Soul Core was split open at the abdomen by the blade aura.

This was not the end. The vortex blade energy surged into Qi Trading House, and now, anyone inside—regardless of who they were—faced certain death if caught in the blade flow.

The previously mocking customer turned pale as the blade flow approached. He tried to dodge, but Joe Di's Windhowl Blade intent was no longer scattered—no matter how he dodged, the blade intent instantly locked onto him and tore him to pieces.

"Courting death!" The ninth-level Soul Core cultivator from the Qi Family dodged Joe Di's Windhowl Blade vortex, then unleashed a tower artifact at Joe Di.

His name was Qi Zhiyi, and he had recently obtained a Void Spirit Pill. What frustrated him was that Qi Chenxiang and Qi Qi had both entered the Void Spirit Realm after getting their pills, while he remained stuck at ninth-level Soul Core, just one step away from the Void Spirit Realm.

He was already in a bad mood for not advancing to the Void Spirit Realm before coming to Ruinsgate City. Now, seeing Joe Di destroy the Qi Family's defense array, his rage erupted.

The tower artifact grew to the size of a small mountain and smashed toward Joe Di, compressing the space around him and binding everything with its wild power, leaving Joe Di unable to break free.

Joe Di couldn't help but sigh. If he hadn't gained new insight, he'd have had to fight head-on against such a mountain-like tower, or block it with his Peak Gathering technique.

But now, he easily spotted Qi Zhiyi's flaw. This crushing attack might work on ordinary cultivators, but it was far from enough to threaten Joe Di.

Joe Di stepped forward, and though the space was supposedly bound, a crack appeared. He simply stepped through the gap.

Before Qi Zhiyi's tower could fully fall, Joe Di had already punched out.

Peaks gathered like waves of fury, one after another fist wind mountains rolled toward Qi Zhiyi.

Qi Zhiyi was horrified. He had no idea how Joe Di escaped from the tower's spatial pressure. Now, faced with Joe Di's relentless fist mountains, he could only spit out a blood arrow, forcibly recall his tower, and attack again.

Joe Di ignored Qi Zhiyi and punched again, the surging fist wind sweeping toward the Soul Core cultivator who had just summoned his artifact.

Compared to Joe Di's true essence and divine sense, the Soul Core cultivator's reaction was far too slow.

Bang! The fist wave tore through the fourth-level Soul Core's defenses. The cultivator barely blocked Joe Di's first wave with his artifact, but the second wave swallowed him whole—onlookers saw only a sky full of blood mist.
