Celestial Palace.
His Majesty the Celestial Emperor saw his youngest son dressed up like a humble little immortal, about to head out, and curiously asked, "Sean, what are you up to?"
Sean replied, "Going to find Adrian."
"Again with Adrian?" The Celestial Emperor raised an eyebrow. "You've been going to see Adrian every day lately. What for?"
Sean said, "He's taking some friends to tour Drake Abyss today and asked me to come along."
"Oh?" The Celestial Emperor looked interested. "So you're making friends now? Whose kids are they?"
"From the Lumina Realm, the Lu Clan."
"Oh..." The Celestial Emperor walked up to him, studying him closely. "You... do you maybe like..."
Sean immediately denied it: "No!"
Celestial Emperor: "...Huh? No what? I was asking if you just like hanging out with the Lu siblings. What did you think I was asking? Your face is all red!"
Sean turned to leave. "I'm going!"
"Wait!" The Celestial Emperor grabbed him, looked him up and down, and grinned. "I heard your mother say the Lu Clan's eldest daughter—Lucia Lu, right?—is supposed to be especially pretty. Is that true?"
Sean awkwardly pushed the Celestial Emperor's hand away. "I didn't notice."
"Oh? Didn't notice!" The Celestial Emperor said. "You never leave the house for centuries, and now you're running off to the Guardian Drake Lord's Manor every day. I thought maybe you'd fallen for that girl!"
Sean didn't say a word and tried to leave again.
But the Celestial Emperor yanked him back. "If you're going out to have fun, why dress like this? Even hiding your cultivation, pretending to be some little immortal?"
"None of your business." He turned his head and left.
The Celestial Emperor stayed there for a while, then burst out laughing. "His face is actually red! Has this blockhead finally figured things out? I have to see what kind of girl could make this stubborn log open up!"
......
When Adrian said he'd take them to tour Drake Abyss, he definitely wasn't just saying it for fun.
Adrian prepared a magic ship and took the three of them out.
All their Divine Attendants, including Damian Black, went along too.
Drake Abyss is full of water—serene lakes and grand rivers everywhere, lush and beautiful vegetation, cool climate, and a sense of depth. Compared to the dazzling colors of the Lumina Realm, it's a whole different scene.
Adrian took them to a truly spectacular waterfall.
Beneath the rainbow clouds at the edge of the sky, atop a majestic plateau, water cascaded down from a great height.
Between the plateaus was a massive canyon, with water surging through it and rushing a thousand miles, like ten thousand dragons charging forward.
The white waterfall on the plateau became its backdrop, with dense trees below and leaping fish, forming a truly spectacular scene.
They got off the boat and stood on a huge rock in the lake below the waterfall, big enough for dozens of people.
The lake water was crystal clear and cool, with immortal flowers blooming nearby. It felt wonderful.
"Senior Sister, what do you think—how does Drake Abyss compare to the Lumina Realm?" Adrian asked proudly.
"Each place has its own charm," Lucia Lu replied. "Compared to the Lumina Realm, Drake Abyss feels deeper and more intense, while the Lumina Realm is gentler and more colorful."
"Do you like it here?"
"I do!" Lucia Lu said. "Just thinking about becoming a Divine Guard here makes me excited."
"So do you like the Lumina Realm or Drake Abyss more?" Adrian asked.
Damian Black glanced at Lucia Lu.
"Of course I still like the Lumina Realm best. That's my home!" Lucia Lu answered.
Someone lowered their gaze, shoulders sinking just a little.
