Mr. Brown's face looked troubled. He frowned, staring at the Three Mimics swirling around Rufina Howard.
"What are these things? They're neither human nor ghost."
"Mr. Brown, do you know something about this?"
At first, Rufina Howard was afraid of Mr. Brown's Ghost Aura, but now she'd grown bolder, stepping forward to ask.
Mr. Brown smiled kindly.
"Born of The Unreal."
Redmond was still crouched on the ground, studying the sealing array. He tried reaching out with one hand.
"Forget it, Redmond. This array is tricky. If you get caught, it'll be hard to break free."
Redmond snorted, then burst out laughing as he looked at the array.
"Serves you right, John Chou! I warned you back then, but your brain's totally fried now. This is exactly what you deserve."
"Who are you talking about, Redmond?"
Suddenly, a haunting voice echoed from the center of the array, sounding almost flippant. Redmond’s eyes widened, and Vivian Maple and Noah Grimm instantly moved behind him.
Rufina Howard watched nervously from a distance, while Mr. Brown sighed helplessly beside her.
"Who is it?"
A smear of Blood Red Particles slowly drifted out, gradually congealing into a human shape.
"John Chou, weren’t you sealed away? Why..."
"Who says a seal means you can’t get out? Right, Redmond? It’s been centuries, and you’re still the same—your brain hasn’t grown a bit."
In an instant, Redmond clenched his fists as black flames erupted around him. Vivian Maple and Noah Grimm quickly grabbed him.
"Boss, don’t go over there! Can’t you see? John Chou’s trying to lure you in!"
Redmond stopped immediately.
