The two Devil Gods glanced at Ian Song, a flicker of dread passing through their eyes. They hadn’t expected the Human Emperor to be this powerful—able to force both of them back at once.
“Gavin, Silas, are you two really going to stand against us this time?”
The Three-Eye Devil God glared at the two burly men beside Ian Song, demanding an answer.
Ian Song just grinned. “Humans, Demons, and Devils—three races side by side. But only the Devil Race controls the biggest territory and has the most Devil Gods. All these years, you Devils attack whoever you want. If a couple Devil Gods die, will you still dare to casually assault the Human and Demon Races?”
“The Human Emperor’s got a point. It’s about time we shook things up!” Gavin Goldtiger laughed, his grin full of mischief.
Five days ago, Ian Song went to Sanctum Martial Academy to meet Lynette Ji, specifically to have her pass word to the Demon Race for cooperation.
The Human Race didn’t want the Devil Race to gain another Devil God, and naturally, the Demon Race didn’t either. So this partnership came together instantly. As for why Lynette Ji agreed—if it worked, she’d get some credit and bring plenty of benefits to the Fox Clan.
“You really think you’ve got what it takes to kill the two of us?” the Winged Devil God snarled. “If we go all out, at least one or two of you will die too. Gavin, Silas, don’t let yourselves get played!”
The moment he said this, Gavin Goldtiger and Silas Silvertiger’s expressions shifted, both looking thoughtful.
Ian Song didn’t bother with such a shallow provocation. Instead, he swept a playful glance over the two Devil Gods. “It’s simple. I’ll let one of you go—only one dies. Why not talk it over and decide who stays and who leaves?”
If five attack two, there’s some risk. But if five attack one, that one’s absolutely doomed.
“Hmph! Human Emperor, you think you can use such a cheap trick to play us? Dream on!” the Winged Devil God snorted.
“Oh really?”
Ian Song smirked. “Whoever leaves lives, whoever stays dies. Or you can just stay and die together—your choice.”
“Human Emperor, are you serious?”
The Three-Eye Devil God spoke up.
Ian Song replied seriously, “I’m the emperor of a nation—I keep my word. If you want to leave, Three-Eye, I won’t stop you.”
“Three-Eye, are you really—?” The Winged Devil God’s face changed dramatically at those words.
“Thank you, Human Emperor. Farewell!”
The Three-Eye Devil God cupped his fists to Ian Song, then grabbed the Three-Eye Devil Emperor and shot into the sky. In an instant, they vanished from sight.
