For My Brothers, Kill

1/5/2026

At this moment, this power is absolutely overwhelming—Great Saint power that can sweep away everything. If he wants to kill, the troops Gabriel Xue brought couldn’t withstand even a single punch; they’d be wiped out in an instant.

You gotta get this—Great Saints, Minor Saints, Saint Kings, they’re the absolute top dogs. Any one of them could decide a whole war. But Gabriel Xue only brought five thousand men this time. That’s not even enough to whet a Great Saint’s appetite.

"Commander Xue, hurry up and notify the boss—get him here ASAP!" Harvey "Million" Jin was sweating buckets. Never mind the regular soldiers—even as a Heaven-Tier Void Realm, he couldn’t handle the pressure of a Great Saint’s stare!

"I’ve already sent several emergency talisman messages to Master, but there’s no response at all. Could he have been trapped by those Japanese onmyōji?" Warren Yuan’s face was just as pale as he spoke.

"Impossible! Ryan Ling is way too strong—no way he’d get trapped by a few puny Japanese!" Jason Lin shot back, then barked at the signal operators: "All of you, send the order—blast every channel, we have to reach Ryan Ling!"

"Yes, sir!" At least a few dozen signal operators frantically fired off radio calls, trying to catch any trace of Ryan Ling. But everyone’s faces looked grim—it was like Ryan had completely vanished from all of Qianzhou.

Meanwhile, just as everyone was reaching peak panic, the Su Province forces—who’d been scared out of their wits and nearly hopeless—suddenly got cocky and started swaggering around. Several of them even started shouting like maniacs.

"Can’t reach him? That’s because your precious Great Saint Ryan is already dead! Do you have any idea how many top fighters the Tokugawa family sent this time? Three full Middle Saints—all ridiculously powerful. You really think Ryan could hold them off alone?"

"Exactly! He only beat Murong Taicang last time because Guihai One-Blade had his back. Now Guihai’s gone—how’s he supposed to survive a three-Middle-Saint beatdown? Plus, one of those Middle Saints is the Silver High Priest from Chiba Shrine, the Flame Demon God’s rep. If he summons the demon, Ryan Ling’ll be toast. If you can reach him, you’re dreaming!"

"Ha! I bet Ryan’s already dead—probably not even a bone fragment left. You people can stop trying and just sit here and wait to die!"

"And even if he did make it back alive, he’d be seriously injured by now—no way he could withstand a single hit from our World Dominion Society’s Great Saint. You traitors from the Society are doomed to be wiped out today! Hahaha! In the end, all of Jiangnan still belongs to us, and you Goldridge rabble—even if you wiped out the Qin clan and conquered Goldridge City—don’t dream of making Su Province bow! Just wait to die!"

……

Right then, the Su Province forces started roaring one after another, not giving a damn about anyone else. It was like the scales of victory had already tipped their way. Meanwhile, Gabriel Xue’s side was in total chaos—even with the steadiest troops, facing a Great Saint meant there was only one way out: death.

"World Dominion Society elders, Imperial City’s Great Saint Murong the Immortal-Slayer has arrived—kneel and welcome him!" Suddenly, a thunderous voice crashed down from the sky, shaking everyone to their core.

Clearly, this Murong the Immortal-Slayer is related to Murong Taicang—their connection is anything but ordinary.

In an instant, the Su Province troops didn’t hesitate—they all dropped to their knees, bowing toward the direction of that overwhelming aura, looking so devout it was like their ancestor had descended.

"Level-One battle readiness!" On the other side, Gabriel Xue roared, voice nearly tearing his throat.

The soldiers around him jumped at the order—several even dropped their guns on the spot. Facing a Great Saint, even the bravest troops were scared out of their wits. Who’d dare actually fight a Great Saint?

Even Jason Lin and the others nearby turned pale at the order—clearly, Gabriel’s toughness wasn’t just talk.

"Did you hear me? Everyone to Level-One battle readiness—execute the order now!" Gabriel finished, and the soldiers who’d followed him for years understood: he’d rather die charging than be scared to death by a Great Saint. That’s a soldier’s backbone—never lose it, no matter where you are.

In an instant, tons of soldiers gripped their rifles, aiming straight at the center of that overwhelming aura!

"Fire!" Gabriel Xue swung his arm, and instantly thousands of bullets and shells tore through the air—five thousand troops firing at once, with heavy artillery in the mix. This was the strongest siege firepower around; anyone seeing it would be shaken to the core.

But faced with this insane barrage, the Great Saint floating in midair just let out a cold laugh.

"Kids’ stuff. Still, you’ve got guts to challenge me!" A deep voice echoed from the sky.

As soon as he finished, every shell and bullet blossomed into red flowers in the sky—Heavenly Maiden Scattering Flowers style—drifting down like a fairy’s dance. Not a scratch on the Great Saint. Just like he said, it was all child’s play.

"Great Saint almighty! Unmatched under heaven! Kill these rebels—kill!" The Su Province troops went wild, worshipping the Great Saint’s power. As soon as the words fell, the ground was covered with kneeling.

"Still want to keep playing?" As he spoke, a human face suddenly appeared in midair—flickering, eerie as hell.

"Is that... is that even human?" Harvey 'Million' Jin staggered backward, panic written all over his face.

Warren Yuan and Jason Lin saw this and their breathing went wild. The Great Saint’s power was way past anything they could imagine—this wasn’t even human, it was god-level. Going up against someone like that? Straight-up suicide!

"Kill! Kill! Kill!" But Gabriel Xue wasn’t scared at all. The legendary Anti-Japanese War God strode straight to a massive anti-aircraft cannon—built for blasting bombers out of the sky.

He shoved the trembling soldier aside, aimed that cannon right at the giant face in the clouds, and fired without a second thought.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Five shots in a row—almost every one nailed its mark!

But to everyone’s shock, those five shells didn’t explode—they just froze up there in mid-air. Then, as the face in the sky cracked a sly smile, the shells slowly turned around and pointed right back at the soldiers.

"Wh-what... Oh my god!" Even the toughest soldiers were losing it, stumbling backward in terror.

But it was too late—the five shells came screaming down on the camp, and the air exploded with deafening blasts and agonized screams.

"Hell yeah! That’s how you do it—wipe out these so-called rebels! Anyone dumb enough to go against the World Dominion Society is begging to die!" The Su Province crowd went wild; some of the middle-aged ladies were literally dancing with excitement.

Ryan Ling, you feel that? Something huge just happened—a Great Saint from the World Dominion Society showed up. Gabriel Xue and the guys are totally outmatched!" The Ghost Elder’s brow furrowed in worry.

Ryan Ling kept his eyes closed and nodded. He’d sensed it ages ago—inside, he was more anxious than anyone. But he couldn’t move yet; Transforming Core was right there, and he had to hang on till the last second. If he bailed now, everything would go up in smoke.

For this surprise breakthrough, Ryan Ling had sealed himself up, mind and body, blocking out the world. That’s why Gabriel and the others couldn’t reach him.

"With a Great Saint on the move, they’ll be lucky to last a few minutes. Any slower and it’s game over for the whole army!" The Ghost Elder was sweating bullets.

Ryan Ling clenched his fists and roared, "Seal!"

In an instant, he locked down every last trace of the Flame Demon God’s aura.

"You—you just gave up?" The Ghost Elder was stunned, totally not expecting Ryan Ling to be so ruthless.

"A dead brother’s gone for good—a failed breakthrough, you can always try again!" Ryan Ling didn’t hesitate for a second. He blasted out toward the battlefield—the crisis was now at DEFCON 1…
