"What do you mean, two of them?" Tanya Li's mind went blank for a moment, though her hands kept moving without pause. Her heart pounded violently several times.
In battle with Specters, there was no room for distraction.
She could only feint twice, then rolled to the side. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Andrew Han, dressed in a tattered blue short-sleeve shirt, striding purposefully towards them.
But the third Specter had vanished without a trace.
What?!
A sudden chill surged in Tanya Li's heart.
This is bad!
Her immediate thought was that the third Specter had possessed Andrew Han. Otherwise, why couldn't she sense that chilling aura anymore?
"Damn it."
"If a Specter possesses an ordinary person, they are doomed. Even for someone of Second Rank, it's a near-death situation. This is truly a disaster."
Tanya Li's face turned pale, her spirit sinking into a bottomless abyss.
As her thoughts raced, she dreaded the wrath of Miles Ning to come. Her right foot slid backward, ready to retreat swiftly.
However—
Andrew Han charged forward, his body first leaning back then lunging ahead, like a fierce tiger swinging its claws—bold, unstoppable. The shoulder of his blue shirt tore apart, strips of fabric fluttering.
Thud!
Tanya Li watched as that blue-clad figure collided with one of the Specters, forcefully knocking it away. The sight shook her to the core.
Could it be—
Had Andrew Han killed the third Specter?
In an instant, Tanya Li made her decision. Her right foot halted, her legs surging with martial power as she traced an arc, charging at another Specter. "One each!"
The battlefield was instantly divided.
The two White Specters were in the middle, Tanya Li to the left, Andrew Han to the right.
This was a situation Tanya Li had deliberately arranged; if Andrew Han were possessed by a Specter, she could avoid being surrounded and attacked from all sides.
Shh!
Tanya Li’s left palm swept out horizontally, carving a line in the air. Though it looked gentle, the force channeled through her arm was like a blade slicing through clouds, cleaving the White Specter apart.
Hiss!
The White Specter shrieked, trying to flee.
Tanya Li’s gaze was as deep and unfathomable as a dark pool. Shifting her balance, she blocked the Specter before her, steadily wearing down its form while keeping a watchful eye on the opposite side.
Facing only one Specter, the pressure eased considerably.
“Huh?”
Tanya Li glanced in surprise at Andrew Han’s fighting style, her eyes twitching. It felt as if a hundred copper gongs were crashing in her mind, leaving her stunned and bewildered, as if struck by thunder.
Bathed in moonlight, everything was clearly visible.
Andrew Han moved like a tiger descending the mountain, swinging his fists with wild, boundless force. He met the Specter head-on, each explosive strike sending the White Specter flying, his power fierce and unstoppable.
The blue short-sleeved shirt on his upper body was completely torn, strips of cloth hanging from him like cascading waterfalls.
His fists contained an unimaginable strength, roaring through the air and stirring the wind around him.
Thud, thud, thud!
As Andrew Han drew back his left fist, he twisted at the waist, his left foot retreating half a step. With the force of his foot pressing into the ground and the torque from his back, he rooted himself in the earth, his body forming a strange leaning posture.
His center of gravity sank, right fist clenched.
He retreated half a step, then lunged forward. His energy and strength seemed to vanish, only to gather in his drifting right arm, finally converging in his right fist. With a howl, he smashed his right fist forward.
Shh!
The blue short-sleeved shirt burst apart, strips of fabric flying all around.
