Meeting an Old Acquaintance in the Southern Sea

Seeing that Old Clam could tell Evan Yang's condition, Janelle Jiang had no choice but to wait anxiously by the side.

It wasn't until Evan let out a groan and finally woke up, finding himself unharmed, that he got up.

"You're finally awake!" Janelle said excitedly.

"How long was I unconscious?" Evan's first words after waking up.

"Over a year now," Janelle replied.

"A year? So that's just over half a month outside," Evan calculated after realizing how long he'd been unconscious.

"You still have the leisure to calculate that? Tell me, what on earth happened?" Janelle asked curiously.

Evan wanted to know too, so he turned to Old Clam and asked directly, "Who was that man?"

"That's the Top Expert of the Eastern Continent—the one who wiped out my entire clan," Old Clam answered.

"Him? No wonder he's so strong—he almost killed me without even making a move. I really have to thank the Sky-Piercing Tower this time," Evan sighed, reflecting on the huge gap between their strength.

At the very last moment before falling into the water, Evan dragged Old Clam into the tower, then quickly shrank the Sky-Piercing Tower and entered it himself. Even so, he couldn't withstand that final blow and passed out.

"This Sky-Piercing Tower really is extraordinary," Old Clam muttered.

"You two rest here for now. I'll check the situation outside," Evan said. He wasn't fully healed yet, but he was eager to see what was happening.

When he saw the scene outside, he was completely stunned.

"What's wrong?" Old Clam asked, curious about Evan's expression.

After snapping back to himself, Evan transmitted the outside scene to Old Clam. When Old Clam saw it, he cursed, "This is outrageous."

"He really deserves the title 'Top Expert of the Eastern Continent.'" What Evan saw was bodies everywhere—sea beasts, all of them. The water was dyed red, a sign of how many sea beasts must have died to reach this level.

Most importantly, Evan also saw that the man was fighting several Spirit-Wandering Realm sea beasts at once—one against five—and wasn't struggling at all.

"It's too much! This is a massacre," Old Clam said furiously at the sight of all those sea beast corpses.

"Let's rest a bit longer before going out." At this point, Evan could only hope that the man would leave soon.
