Hell Court on Earth, Spirit Officer Tries an Evil Ghost

In an instant, Stanley Hong was so terrified he nearly wet himself. But at the edge of life and death, he actually grabbed his two sons and yanked them in front of himself as human shields. The two spoiled young masters, already scared out of their wits, never imagined their own father could be this vicious.

Bang! The gang-qi punched straight through both their heads. The two young masters’ skulls cracked open, brains splattering everywhere—they died instantly.

“You old bastard, I never thought you’d stoop to something this inhuman. For someone like you, even the Eighteenth Hell is too good!” Ryan gritted his teeth, totally unprepared for the fact that Harbor City’s so-called ‘leader’ was actually this monstrous.

“S-stay back, stay away from me…” At this point Stanley Hong was only thinking about saving his own skin. His sons were dead, so he immediately started shoving his own servants forward as meat shields.

“You think you can escape Heaven’s judgment just by doing this?” Ryan clenched his fists, gang-qi mixed with sword-qi crackling in the air, while the floor tiles all around him shattered piece by piece.

Stanley Hong was already past caring about anything except survival, but seeing this scene, he completely lost hope.

When a grandmaster gets mad, blood stains a hundred miles—nobody escapes a grandmaster’s grasp.

But just then, the big door—locked up until now—was suddenly smashed open. Jason Lin, Warren Yuan, Harvey Jin, Frank Qin, Su Xianlong, and all the martial arts reps from Harbor City burst in, at least a hundred people inside and out. Clearly, they’d heard the sounds of slaughter inside and rushed in no matter what.

Suddenly seeing all these familiar faces, Stanley Hong’s eyes spun and he started howling like a mourner: “You all got here just in time! This guy’s gone insane, he’s a total killing maniac! I tried so hard to make peace, things were almost settled, but then he snapped and started slaughtering people—wiped out Harbor City folks, killed my Hong clan members, even murdered my two sons! You’re just in time, hurry up and chop this killer demon down, purge Harbor City of evil!”

Stanley Hong finished his rant, but nobody moved a muscle. Every eye was locked dead on him.

“What’s wrong with you all? You’re not listening to me anymore? Hurry up and kill him—do it!” Stanley Hong’s eyes were bloodshot as he barked orders, still acting like he was the boss of Harbor City.

But right then, Jason Lin sneered. “Old Master Hong, you’re one hell of a hypocrite. No one in Harbor City can twist the truth like you!”

“What did you say? Jason Lin, you little punk—even you dare talk to me like that? You really think I can’t wipe out your whole Axe Club in minutes?” Stanley Hong had finally realized something was wrong.

“Go ahead, wipe out everyone here if you can!” Jason Lin snorted, pulling out a phone that was live-streaming everything. Stanley Hong’s ugly side was already fully exposed to the public.

“Y-you…” Stanley Hong’s face turned pitch black. Seeing this, not just the outsiders—even his own Hong clan servants backed away. Who’d dare stand with a guy who used his own sons as shields?

“You beast in human skin, I always knew you’d pull this stunt!” Ryan sneered, taking a remote camera off his collar. When he went in alone, Jason Lin and the others didn’t trust it, so they gave him a camera to keep tabs on the situation. That meant everything Stanley Hong said inside was broadcast crystal clear to everyone outside.

“Stanley Hong, I can’t believe you turned out like this. All these years we trusted you for nothing. A guy like you deserves a thousand cuts!”

“You colluded with Wuzhou, slaughtered Harbor City’s heroes—have you forgotten our blood feud with Wuzhou? How many died at their hands in every martial arts tournament? Did wild dogs eat your conscience?”

“The Hong clan’s been bleeding Harbor City dry for years, but now you’re openly sucking up to Wuzhou? It’s disgusting. You think you’re fit to lead Harbor City, or talk about virtue and morality? I say drag him outside right now and chop off his head for everyone to see!”

......

Right now, everyone’s emotions were running wild.

“You—you can’t do this, I’m Stanley Hong! All Hong clan members, get over here and save me! Are you all deaf?” Stanley Hong screamed for help, but not a single person moved.

So Jason Lin, Warren Yuan, Frank Qin, and Harvey “Million” Jin hoisted Stanley Hong up like a slaughtered pig and carried him to the Hong clan’s front gate. Outside, a huge crowd was waiting, all glaring at this Harbor City traitor—the enemy of everyone.

“Kill!” Ryan barked. Scum like this didn’t deserve another word—he didn’t even want to dirty his own hands.

At his order, a massive dog-head executioner’s blade swung down toward Stanley Hong’s neck.

Stanley Hong let out a final, hopeless scream!

But right then, the entire Hong Manor suddenly shook. A mass of black qi erupted from underground, instantly wrapping around the dog-head blade and flinging both blade and executioner away.

Everyone jumped in shock—at such a critical moment, a sudden twist! Many people’s faces changed; after all, the Hong clan had been in Harbor City for a century, and nobody knew what kind of top-tier monster might be lurking inside.

“A bunch of ants and rats—how dare you judge the Hong clan! Get lost now, or I’ll turn this place into a river of blood and a mountain of corpses!” A gloomy voice thundered from the black qi, and suddenly gang-winds howled all around.

“A g-grandmaster?”

“Does the Hong clan still have a grandmaster hidden away? How is that possible?”

“Wait, that doesn’t look like a living body. Could it be the Hong clan’s ancestor’s spirit? I heard that one ancestor reached the grandmaster realm and, on his deathbed, swore to protect the Hong clan for a hundred years. Could the legend be true?”

Seeing this, everyone’s faces turned pale, and people started backing away—almost nobody had ever seen anything so bizarre.

“Master, that really does look like a ghost spirit. To manifest in broad daylight, its yin power must have reached the extreme yang realm—way beyond any normal fierce ghost. It’s probably the grandmaster ancestor’s spirit causing trouble. With our current strength, we shouldn’t fight it!” Warren Yuan, the only ghost expert present, immediately warned Ryan.

Ryan’s physical body had already broken through the first layer of the Purgatory Soul-Suppressing Art, so fighting a living grandmaster was no problem. But this grandmaster’s spirit, dead for nearly a century, was a whole different challenge.

“Ancestor, my ancestor, thank goodness you’re here! The Hong clan is facing its greatest crisis in a hundred years—if you don’t intervene, our whole legacy will be wiped out and we’ll have no descendants left!” Stanley Hong was cunning as ever; hearing Warren Yuan’s words, he instantly understood and began kowtowing desperately to the black qi.

“Say no more—I know everything. As long as I’m here, nobody will destroy the Hong clan. You little brats, get lost now!” The grandmaster ancestor roared, sending waves of fierce gang-wind crashing through the crowd, who immediately retreated.

This hundred-year-old grandmaster ghost was no joke. Ordinary fighters—and even the Martial Arts Association’s experts—panicked. Ryan didn’t hesitate; he rushed forward and used the Purgatory Soul-Suppressing Art to resist. He blocked most of the deadly gang-qi, but bloody welts still appeared on his face and body.

“Good, very good—you little punk, young grandmaster, no matter how strong or talented you are, if you go up against me and the Hong clan, you’ll die!” Seeing Ryan wounded, Stanley Hong nearly jumped for joy, screaming, “Ancestor, it’s him! He almost destroyed the Hong clan today—my two sons died at his hands. Ancestor, kill him, chop him into a thousand pieces!”

“Don’t worry, no matter how strong this kid is, he’s nowhere near my level!” The grandmaster ancestor sneered, unleashing an even fiercer gang-qi storm at Ryan. In an instant, a whirlwind of gang-qi forced Ryan to retreat—he couldn’t block it for long.

But just then, the System issued a command: The first Ghost Tribunal of the Human Realm Yama Hall—officially begins...
