Chairman Dunn suddenly shouted explosively.
Keith Yang, who was behind him, immediately stepped forward. His gaze swept the room and quickly locked onto Evan Lin sitting there.
"That's the kid!"
Keith Yang pointed over: "This kid even claims he knows Serena Tong."
"It's just..."
"Hmm?"
Keith Yang was slightly stunned.
Because it was only now that he realized, Serena Tong really was sitting right next to that kid.
He'd thought the kid was just bragging before.
If he really knew Serena Tong, did that mean this kid's background was actually anything but ordinary?
That thought flashed through Keith Yang's mind.
No matter what background this kid had, in a place like this, could anyone really be stronger than the Dunn Group?
After all, he had Chairman Dunn backing him!
"You're the one who messed up our Dunn Group's business."
Chairman Dunn looked over at Evan Lin, then turned to Serena Tong sitting beside him and smiled slightly: "You must be Serena Tong."
"Since you're here, I happen to want to discuss a cooperation with you."
As Chairman Dunn spoke, he was already considering how to drag Serena Tong back into the Dunn Group.
Truth be told, Serena Tong's status and value were much higher than Yara Song's.
"I'm not interested, and I don't have time to cooperate with you."
Serena Tong shook her head and decisively refused.
"Don't be so quick to shut things down. Interest can be cultivated, time can be squeezed out, and cooperation is something that makes everyone happy. If you reject me so fast, it really hurts my feelings."
Chairman Dunn was still smiling.
Keith Yang beside him had already stepped aside, making room for the Beast King.
The massive Beast King strode forward, looking brutish and arrogant. His bulging muscles were visually overwhelming.
He stood there, cracking his knuckles with loud pops, clearly planning to stride right over to Evan Lin.
He'd only made it halfway.
Yu Kaiyuan's face had already changed. The Beast King's oppressive aura was far beyond what any of the earlier people had brought.
He was worried, but given his status, he couldn't say anything in this situation.
He didn't have enough face.
Even if he wanted to step out and help, it wouldn't matter.
Leon Yuan and Mia Miao both looked a bit complicated.
Leon Yuan gritted his teeth. Seeing the Beast King heading toward Evan Lin, he intended to step forward and block his path, but Mia Miao pulled him back halfway.
It was obvious.
If Leon stepped in, he'd just end up as a punching bag—he couldn't possibly stop the Beast King.
"Looks like this kid's about to get wrecked." Someone glanced at Evan Lin and muttered quietly.
"No kidding. That big guy beside Chairman Dunn, if I'm not mistaken, is the Beast King. He walked out of the Hong Kong boxing circuit with a record of one hundred matches and ninety-nine wins. His strength is unquestionable." Someone recognized the Beast King, speaking with obvious unease.
"Too bad. The kid probably can't take even one punch from the Beast King. If the Beast King smashes him with a fist, he'll be done for."
A crowd stood by watching, all shaking their heads.
The rich second-generation girls who'd just crowded around Evan Lin to chat now saw the Beast King striding over and instinctively kept their distance.
Admiration was one thing.
But they weren't stupid enough to stick their necks out for a guy they'd only met once.
Everyone here had some connections and influence, but offending the Dunn Group for this would be a terrible deal for them.
"He sure is big."
Evan Lin looked at the approaching Beast King, his expression utterly indifferent.
"Should I drag you down and pin you to the floor, or do you want to kneel by yourself?"
The Beast King kept walking, each step making the floor thud loudly.
"That depends if you've got the guts."
Evan Lin shook his head: "I'll just sit here. If you can get within two meters of me without kneeling, you win. Deal?"
Get within two meters without kneeling?
Hearing this, the crowd watching for drama froze for a moment, then their expressions turned strange.
"Is this kid nuts or what?"
"What does he mean by that? Does he really think the Beast King can't walk within two meters of him?"
"I thought he was kind of interesting just now, but suddenly he's acting crazy. He has no clue how terrifying the Beast King is, and he's still talking big?"
A woman who'd just been asking about Evan Lin's background rolled her eyes when she heard him, looking utterly disdainful.
Everyone was talking at once.
"Stupid mutt."
Chairman Dunn snorted coldly.
Keith Yang was beside himself with excitement. He couldn't wait to see how the Beast King would grab this kid and teach him a lesson.
Victor Wu was off to the side, eyes shining.
Yara Song frowned. She had to admit, she thought Evan Lin was being way too arrogant.
Up until now, Evan Lin had only faced small fry.
But the Beast King in front of him—just his sheer size alone was way beyond ordinary people.
Stop him from getting close?
How?
Just by saying a few words?
Yara Song's gaze was icy.
Serena Tong and Queenie Tong sat there, looking at Evan Lin.
They actually had a lot of confidence in Evan Lin now, even though the Beast King's size really was over the top.
"You're trying to piss me off."
The Beast King rumbled, his domineering face now full of wild fighting intent: "Just for what you said, I'll make sure you understand—food can be eaten carelessly, but words can't be spoken carelessly!"
The Beast King grinned and strode forward.
Everyone watched as the young man sitting there casually picked up a glass of red wine, flicked his wrist, and sent the wine flying.
The stream of wine split in midair.
One trail landed two meters in front of the young man.
The other landed three meters in front of him.
Both streams hit the floor, staining it red.
There was a meter of space between the two streams of wine.
He put away the glass, still sitting as before, looking at the Beast King with a calm tone.
"Two streams of water, two walls."
"If you can cross the second stream and get within two meters of me, what's the harm in me kneeling?"
Evan Lin looked at him.
"If you cross the first but not the second, you'll find out what happens yourself."
With that, Evan Lin said no more.
Everyone saw that the Beast King, who had been striding forward, suddenly changed his expression and paused mid-step.
